1 To the choirmaster. Of David. The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds; there is none who does good. (Ge 6:5; Ge 6:11; Job 2:10; Ps 10:4; Ps 53:1; Ps 74:18; Ps 74:22; Ro 3:10) 2 The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand,[1] who seek after God. (2Ch 15:2; 2Ch 19:3; Ps 11:4; Ps 102:19) 3 They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one. (Job 15:16) 4 Have they no knowledge, all the evildoers who eat up my people as they eat bread and do not call upon the Lord? (Ps 27:2; Ps 79:6; Ps 82:5; Pr 30:14; Isa 1:3; Isa 64:7; Jer 4:22; Jer 10:25; Ho 7:7; Am 8:4; Mic 3:3) 5 There they are in great terror, for God is with the generation of the righteous. (Ps 24:6; Ps 73:15) 6 You would shame the plans of the poor, but[2] the Lord is his refuge. (Ps 46:1; Ps 61:3; Ps 62:7; Ps 91:2; Ps 142:5) 7 Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion! When the Lord restores the fortunes of his people, let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad. (Job 42:10; Ps 85:1; Ps 126:1; Jer 30:18; Eze 16:53; Eze 39:25; Ho 6:11; Joe 3:1)

1 Von David, vorzusingen. Die Toren sprechen in ihrem Herzen: »Es ist kein Gott.« Sie taugen nichts; ihr Treiben ist ein Gräuel; da ist keiner, der Gutes tut. (Ps 53:1) 2 Der HERR schaut vom Himmel auf die Menschenkinder, dass er sehe, ob jemand klug sei und nach Gott frage. 3 Aber sie sind alle abgewichen und allesamt verdorben; da ist keiner, der Gutes tut, auch nicht einer. (Ge 6:12; Ro 3:10) 4 Will denn das keiner der Übeltäter begreifen, / die mein Volk fressen, dass sie sich nähren, aber den HERRN rufen sie nicht an? (Mic 3:3) 5 Da erschrecken sie sehr; denn Gott ist bei dem Geschlecht der Gerechten. 6 Ihr lasst den Rat des Armen zuschanden werden; aber der HERR ist seine Zuversicht. (Ps 12:6) 7 Ach dass die Hilfe aus Zion über Israel käme! / Wenn der HERR das Geschick seines Volkes wendet, freue sich Jakob und sei Israel fröhlich! (Ps 126:1)

1 Dice el necio en su corazón: No hay Dios. Se han corrompido, hacen obras abominables. No hay quien haga el bien. 2 YHVH miró desde los cielos sobre los hijos del hombre, Para ver si había algún entendido que buscara a ’Elohim. 3 Todos se desviaron, a una se han corrompido, No hay quien haga lo bueno, no hay ni siquiera uno. 4 ¿No tienen discernimiento todos los que hacen iniquidad, Que devoran a mi pueblo como si comieran pan, Y a YHVH no invocan? 5 Allí temblarán de espanto, Porque ’Elohim está con la generación de los justos. 6 Del consejo del pobre os habéis burlado, Pero YHVH es su refugio. 7 ¡Ah, si de Sión viniera la salvación de Israel! Cuando YHVH haya hecho tornar la cautividad de su pueblo, Se regocijará Jacob y se alegrará Israel.

1 Au chef de chœur: de David. Les insensés pensent: ╵« Dieu n’existe pas. » Ils sont corrompus, ╵leurs agissements sont abominables, ╵et aucun ne fait le bien[1].[2] (Ps 53:1; Ro 3:10) 2 Du ciel, l’Eternel observe ╵tout le genre humain: « Reste-t-il un homme sage qui s’attend à Dieu? 3 Ils se sont tous égarés, ╵tous sont corrompus, et aucun ne fait le bien, même pas un seul. 4 Tous ces gens qui font le mal, ╵n’ont-ils rien compris? Car ils dévorent mon peuple, ╵tout comme on mange du pain[3]! Jamais ils n’invoquent l’Eternel! » 5 Ils sont saisis d’épouvante, car Dieu est avec les justes. 6 Pensez-vous pouvoir ruiner ╵les projets des pauvres? L’Eternel est leur refuge. 7 Ah, que vienne du mont de Sion ╵le salut pour Israël! Quand l’Eternel changera ╵le sort de son peuple[4], Jacob criera d’allégresse, ╵Israël, de joie.
