1 Ascribe to the LORD, O heavenly beings,[1] ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. (1Ch 16:28; 1Ch 16:29; Ps 68:34; Ps 96:7; Ps 96:8) 2 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness.[2] (Ex 28:2; 1Ch 16:29; Ps 110:3) 3 The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD, over many waters. (Job 37:4; Job 37:5; Ps 18:11) 4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. (Ps 68:33) 5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; the LORD breaks the cedars of Lebanon. (Jud 9:15; Ps 104:16) 6 He makes Lebanon to skip like a calf, and Sirion like a young wild ox. (Nu 23:22; De 3:9; Ps 114:4; Ps 114:6) 7 The voice of the LORD flashes forth flames of fire. 8 The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness; the LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh. (Nu 13:26) 9 The voice of the LORD makes the deer give birth[3] and strips the forests bare, and in his temple all cry, “Glory!” (Job 39:1) 10 The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD sits enthroned as king forever. (Ge 6:17; Ps 10:16) 11 May the LORD give strength to his people! May the LORD bless[4] his people with peace! (Ps 68:35; Isa 40:29; Php 4:7)

1 Psaume de David. Fils de Dieu, rendez à l'Éternel, Rendez à l'Éternel gloire et honneur! 2 Rendez à l'Éternel gloire pour son nom! Prosternez-vous devant l'Éternel avec des ornements sacrés! 3 La voix de l'Éternel retentit sur les eaux, Le Dieu de gloire fait gronder le tonnerre; L'Éternel est sur les grandes eaux. 4 La voix de l'Éternel est puissante, La voix de l'Éternel est majestueuse. 5 La voix de l'Éternel brise les cèdres; L'Éternel brise les cèdres du Liban, 6 Il les fait bondir comme des veaux, Et le Liban et le Sirion comme de jeunes buffles. 7 La voix de l'Éternel fait jaillir des flammes de feu. 8 La voix de l'Éternel fait trembler le désert; L'Éternel fait trembler le désert de Kadès. 9 La voix de l'Éternel fait enfanter les biches, Elle dépouille les forêts. Dans son palais tout s'écrie: Gloire! 10 L'Éternel était sur son trône lors du déluge; L'Éternel sur son trône règne éternellement. 11 L'Éternel donne la force à son peuple; L'Éternel bénit son peuple et le rend heureux.
