L'oppresseur opprime, le dévastateur dévaste. -Monte, Élam! Assiège, Médie! Je fais cesser tous les soupirs. -3C'est pourquoi mes reins sont remplis d'angoisses; Des douleurs me saisissent, Comme les douleurs d'une femme en travail; Les spasmes m'empêchent d'entendre, Le tremblement m'empêche de voir.4Mon coeur est troublé, La terreur s'empare de moi; La nuit de mes plaisirs devient une nuit d'épouvante.5On dresse la table, la garde veille, on mange, on boit...
