1 I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? (Ps 48:1; Ps 87:1; Ps 123:1; Ps 133:3; Jer 3:23) 2 My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. (Ps 20:2; Ps 115:15; Ps 124:8) 3 He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. (1Sa 2:9; Ps 41:2; Ps 66:9; Ps 127:1; Pr 3:23; Pr 3:26; Isa 27:3) 4 Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade on your right hand. (Ps 16:8; Ps 91:1) 6 The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. (2Ki 4:19; Isa 49:10; Jon 4:8; Re 7:16) 7 The LORD will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. 1 A Song of degrees. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains – where does my help come from? 2 My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. 3 He will not let your foot slip – he who watches over you will not slumber; 4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The Lord watches over you – the Lord is your shade at your right hand; 6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The Lord will keep you from all harm – he will watch over your life; 8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and for evermore.
