(Ex 15:20; Ps 30:11; Ps 150:3; Ps 150:4)4For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with salvation. (Ps 35:27; Ps 147:11; Isa 61:3)5Let the godly exult in glory; let them sing for joy on their beds. (Job 35:10; Ps 4:4; Ps 63:6; Ho 7:14)6Let the high praises of God be in their throats and two-edged swords in their hands, (Ps 66:17; Pr 5:4; Heb 4:12; Re 1:16; Re 2:12)7to execute vengeance on the nations and punishments on the peoples,8to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron, (Job 36:8)9to execute on them the judgment written! Jubelt ihm zu, ihr Einwohner Jerusalems[1], denn er ist euer König!3Tanzt zu seiner Ehre und rühmt seinen Namen mit euren Liedern! Spielt für ihn auf dem Tamburin und auf der Laute!4Denn der HERR hat Freude an seinem Volk, die Unterdrückten beschenkt er mit seiner Hilfe.5Die zu ihm gehören, sollen darüber jubeln und selbst noch im Bett fröhlich singen.6Sie sollen ihre Stimme erheben und Gott loben. In ihren Händen halten sie scharfe Schwerter,7um an den gottlosen Völkern Vergeltung zu üben und sein Strafgericht an ihnen zu vollziehen.8Sie werden deren Könige in Ketten legen und die hohen Beamten gefesselt abführen.9Sie werden Gottes Urteil vollstrecken, das über die Völker verhängt wurde – welch eine Ehre für alle, die treu zu Gott stehen!
