Dieses Volk muss verschwinden und sein Name muss vergessen werden!«6Sie halten miteinander Rat, um ein Bündnis gegen dich zu schließen, und schnell sind sie ein Herz und eine Seele:7die Leute von Edom, die Ismaeliter, die von Moab und die Hagariter;8die von Gebal, Ammon und Amalek; die Philister und die Bewohner von Tyrus;9sogar die Assyrer kommen noch dazu und bringen den Nachkommen Lots Verstärkung. (Jud 4:1; Jud 7:15)11Sie wurden bei En-Dor vernichtet und blieben als Dünger auf den Feldern liegen.12Behandle ihre Fürsten wie Oreb und Seeb, ihre Führer wie Sebach und Zalmunna, (Jud 7:25; Jud 8:12; Jud 8:18)13sie alle, die beschlossen haben: »Wir wollen Gottes Land erobern!«14Du mein Gott, lass sie davonwirbeln wie trockene Disteln, wie Spreu im Wind!15Sei ihnen wie ein Feuer, das den Wald verzehrt, wie eine Flamme, die Berge anzündet!16Jage sie mit deinem Sturm, stürze sie in Panik durch deinen Orkan!17Treib ihnen die Schamröte ins Gesicht, damit sie anfangen, nach dir, HERR, zu fragen!18Bringe für immer Schmach und Schrecken über sie und lass sie in ihrer Schande zugrunde gehen!19Sie sollen erkennen: Du, HERR, unser Gott, du allein bist der Höchste in aller Welt!
