(Ps 78:39)15As for man, his days are like grass; he flourishes like a flower of the field; (Job 14:2; Ps 90:5)16for the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place knows it no more. (Job 7:10; Ps 37:36; Isa 40:7)17But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him, and his righteousness to children’s children, (Ex 20:5; Ps 25:6; Ps 103:11)18to those who keep his covenant and remember to do his commandments. (Isa 57:16)10Er straft uns nicht, wie wir es verdienten, unsere Untaten zahlt er uns nicht heim.11So unermesslich groß wie der Himmel ist seine Güte zu denen, die ihn ehren. (Ps 108:5)12So fern der Osten vom Westen liegt, so weit entfernt er die Schuld von uns.13Wie ein Vater mit seinen Kindern Erbarmen hat, so hat der HERR Erbarmen mit denen, die ihn ehren.14Er weiß, was für Geschöpfe wir sind; er kennt uns doch: Wir sind nur Staub! (Ps 90:3)15Der Mensch ist vergänglich wie das Gras, es ergeht ihm wie der Blume im Steppenland: (Ps 90:5)16Ein heißer Wind kommt – schon ist sie fort, und wo sie stand, bleibt keine Spur von ihr.17Doch die Güte Gottes bleibt für immer bestehen; bis in die fernste Zukunft gilt sie denen, die ihn ehren. Er hält auch noch zu ihren Kindern und Enkeln, (Lu 1:50)18wenn sie nur seinem Bund treu bleiben und nach seinen Geboten leben.19Der HERR hat seinen Thron im Himmel errichtet, er herrscht als König über alle Welt. (Ps 47:6)20Preist den HERRN, ihr starken Engel, die ihr ihm aufs Wort gehorcht und seine Befehle ausführt! (Ps 29:1; Ps 148:2; Isa 6:1)21Preist den HERRN, ihr mächtigen Diener, die ihr seinen Willen vollstreckt!22Preist den HERRN, ihr Geschöpfe alle, wo immer ihr lebt in seinem Reich! Auch du, mein Herz, preise den HERRN!
