Revive Us Again

1 To the choirmaster. A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. Lord, you were favorable to your land; you restored the fortunes of Jacob. (Ps 14:7; Ps 42:1; Ps 77:7) 2 You forgave the iniquity of your people; you covered all their sin. (Ps 32:1) 3 You withdrew all your wrath; you turned from your hot anger. (Ex 32:12; De 13:17; Ps 78:38; Ps 106:23; Jon 3:9)

4 Restore us again, O God of our salvation, and put away your indignation toward us! (Ps 80:3) 5 Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger to all generations? (Ps 79:5) 6 Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you? (Ps 71:20; Ps 90:14; Ps 149:2) 7 Show us your steadfast love, O Lord, and grant us your salvation. 8 Let me hear what God the Lord will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, to his saints; but let them not turn back to folly. (Ps 49:13; Ps 50:5; Hab 2:1; Hag 2:9; Zec 9:10; 2Pe 2:21)

9 Surely his salvation is near to those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land. (Isa 46:13; Zec 2:5; Joh 1:14) 10 Steadfast love and faithfulness meet; righteousness and peace kiss each other. (Ps 40:11; Ps 72:3; Ps 89:14; Isa 45:8)

11 Faithfulness springs up from the ground, and righteousness looks down from the sky. 12 Yes, the Lord will give what is good, and our land will yield its increase. (Ps 67:6; Ps 84:11; Jas 1:17) 13 Righteousness will go before him and make his footsteps a way. (Ps 89:14; Isa 58:8)

1 Oh YHVH, has sido propicio a tu tierra, Volviste la cautividad de Jacob. 2 Cargaste con la iniquidad de tu pueblo, Cubriste todo su pecado. Selah 3 Depusiste toda tu indignación, Te apartaste del ardor de tu ira. 4 Restáuranos, oh Dios de nuestra salvación, Y haz cesar tu ira de sobre nosotros. 5 ¿Estarás indignado contra nosotros para siempre? ¿Extenderás tu ira de generación en generación? 6 ¿No volverás Tú a darnos vida, Para que tu pueblo se regocije en ti? 7 ¡Muéstranos, oh YHVH, tu misericordia Y danos tu salvación! 8 Escucharé lo que dirá Ha-’El; YHVH hablará de paz a su pueblo y a sus santos, Para que no vuelvan a la insensatez. 9 Ciertamente cercana está su salvación a los que lo temen, Para que habite la gloria en nuestra tierra. 10 La misericordia y la verdad se encontraron; La justicia y la paz se besaron. 11 La verdad brotará de la tierra, Y la justicia mirará desde los cielos. 12 Ciertamente YHVH dará el bien, Y nuestra tierra dará su fruto. 13 La justicia irá delante de Él, Y nos pondrá en el camino de sus pasos.
