Remember, O Lord, in David’s favor, all the hardships he endured, (1Ch 22:14; Ps 120:1)2how he swore to the Lord and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob, (Ge 49:24; Ps 50:14; Ps 132:5; Isa 49:26; Isa 60:16)3“I will not enter my house or get into my bed,4I will not give sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids, (Pr 6:4)5until I find a place for the Lord, a dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob.” (1Ch 22:7; Ps 132:2; Ac 7:46)6Behold, we heard of it in Ephrathah; we found it in the fields of Jaar. (Ge 35:19; 1Sa 7:1; 1Sa 17:12)7“Let us go to his dwelling place; let us worship at his footstool!” (Ps 5:7; Ps 99:5)8Arise, O Lord, and go to your resting place, you and the ark of your might. (2Ch 6:41; Ps 68:1; Ps 78:61; Ps 132:14)9Let your priests be clothed with righteousness, and let your saints shout for joy. (Job 29:14; Ps 132:16; Ps 149:5)10For the sake of your servant David, do not turn away the face of your anointed one. (1Ki 1:39; 2Ki 18:24; Ps 132:17)11The Lord swore to David a sure oath from which he will not turn back: “One of the sons of your body[1] I will set on your throne. (2Sa 7:12; 2Ch 6:16; Ps 89:3; Ps 89:34; Ps 110:4; Lu 1:32; Ac 2:30)12If your sons keep my covenant and my testimonies that I shall teach them, their sons also forever shall sit on your throne.” (1Ki 8:25; Job 36:7)13For the Lord has chosen Zion; he has desired it for his dwelling place: (Ps 68:16; Ps 78:68; Ps 135:21)14“This is my resting place forever; here I will dwell, for I have desired it. (Ps 132:8; Mt 23:21)15I will abundantly bless her provisions; I will satisfy her poor with bread. (Ru 1:6; Ps 147:14)16Her priests I will clothe with salvation, and her saints will shout for joy. (Ps 132:9)17There I will make a horn to sprout for David; I have prepared a lamp for my anointed. (1Ki 11:36; 1Ki 15:4; 2Ki 8:19; 2Ch 21:7; Ps 132:10; Eze 29:21; Lu 1:69)18His enemies I will clothe with shame, but on him his crown will shine.” (Job 8:22)
1Oh YHVH, tenle en cuenta a David, Todas sus aflicciones.2De cómo juró a YHVH, Y prometió al Fuerte de Jacob:3Ciertamente no entraré al abrigo de mi casa, Ni subiré al lecho de mi reposo,4Ciertamente no concederé sueño a mis ojos, Ni a mis párpados adormecimiento,5Hasta que halle lugar para YHVH, Tabernáculo para el Fuerte de Jacob.6He aquí en Efrata oímos de ella, La hallamos en los campos de Jaar.7Entremos en su Tabernáculo, Postrémonos ante el estrado de sus pies.8¡Oh YHVH, levántate al lugar de tu reposo, Así Tú como el Arca de tu poder!9¡Vístanse tus sacerdotes de justicia, Y griten de júbilo tus santos!10Por amor de David tu siervo, No hagas volver el rostro de tu ungido.11En verdad juró YHVH a David, y no se retractará: Un fruto de tus entrañas pondré en tu trono;12Si tus hijos guardan mi pacto, Y mi testimonio que Yo les enseñaré, Sus hijos también se sentarán sobre tu trono para siempre.13Porque YHVH ha escogido a Sión, La ha deseado para habitación suya:14Este es para siempre el lugar de mi reposo, Aquí habitaré, porque la he deseado.15Bendeciré abundantemente su provisión, Y saciaré de pan a sus menesterosos.16Vestiré con salvación a sus sacerdotes, Y sus santos darán voces de júbilo.17Allí haré retoñar para David un Vástago, Dispondré una lámpara para mi Ungido.18A sus enemigos vestiré de vergüenza, Pero sobre él resplandecerá su corona.
