1[1] “For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, when all the arrogant and all evildoers will be stubble. The day that is coming shall set them ablaze, says the Lord of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch. (Isa 47:14; Mal 3:2; Mal 3:15; Mal 4:5; Mt 3:12; Lu 3:17; 2Th 1:7)2But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall. (Ps 84:11; Isa 53:5; Jer 23:6; Jer 50:11; Mal 3:16; Lu 1:78; Joh 1:4; Joh 8:12; Joh 9:5; Joh 12:46)3And you shall tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet, on the day when I act, says the Lord of hosts. (Mal 3:17)4“Remember the law of my servant Moses, the statutes and rules[2] that I commanded him at Horeb for all Israel. (Ex 20:3; De 4:9; De 4:10)5“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes. (Joe 2:31; Mal 3:1; Mt 11:14; Mr 9:11; Lu 1:17)6And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a decree of utter destruction.”[3] (Isa 11:4; Zec 5:3; Lu 1:17)
1Ciertamente viene el día, ardiente como un horno, donde todos los soberbios y todos los que hacen maldad serán estopa. Aquel día vendrá y los abrasará, y no quedará de ellos rama ni raíz, dice YHVH Sebaot.2Mas para vosotros, los que teméis mi Nombre, nacerá el Sol de Justicia, trayendo salvación en sus alas, y saldréis y saltaréis como becerros salidos del establo.3Y hollaréis a los malos, que serán como el polvo bajo las plantas de vuestros pies, en el día que Yo preparo, dice YHVH Sebaot.4Acordaos de la Ley de Moisés mi siervo, que le prescribí en Horeb para todo Israel, con sus ordenanzas y preceptos.5He aquí, Yo os envío al profeta Elías antes que venga el día de YHVH, grande y terrible.6Él hará volver el corazón de los padres a los hijos, y el corazón de los hijos a los padres, no sea que Yo venga y tenga que consagrar la tierra al exterminio.
