1 Who has believed what he has heard from us?^[1] And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? (Isa 51:9; Joh 12:38; Ro 10:16) 2 For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him. (Isa 11:1; Isa 52:14) 3 He was despised and rejected^[2] by men, a man of sorrows^[3] and acquainted with^[4] grief;^[5] and as one from whom men hide their faces^[6] he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. (Ps 69:26; Mt 8:17) 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. (Ro 4:25; 1Pe 2:24) 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth. (Jer 11:19; Mt 26:63; Mr 14:61; Joh 19:9; Ac 8:32; 1Pe 2:23)

8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away; and as for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living, stricken for the transgression of my people? (Isa 57:1) 9 And they made his grave with the wicked and with a rich man in his death, although he had done no violence, and there was no deceit in his mouth. 10 Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him; he has put him to grief;^[7] when his soul makes^[8] an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. (Isa 44:28; Isa 53:4; Isa 53:6) 11 Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see^[9] and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many,^[10] and he shall divide the spoil with the strong,^[11] because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors. 1 ¿Quién ha creído nuestro anuncio? ¿Sobre quién se ha manifestado el brazo de YHVH? 2 Subirá cual renuevo delante de Él, Pero como raíz de tierra seca, no habrá en Él parecer ni hermosura; Lo veremos, pero sin atractivo para que lo deseemos. 3 Despreciado y desechado entre los hombres, Varón de dolores, experimentado en quebranto, Escondimos de Él el rostro, fue menospreciado, y lo tuvimos por nada. 4 Él mismo cargó con nuestras enfermedades y llevó nuestros dolores; Y nosotros lo consideramos como herido, azotado y humillado por ’Elohim. 5 Pero Él fue traspasado por nuestras transgresiones, Molido por nuestros pecados. El precio de nuestra paz cayó sobre Él, Y por su herida fuimos sanados. 6 Todos nosotros nos descarriamos como ovejas, Cada cual se apartó por su camino, Pero YHVH cargó en Él el pecado de todos nosotros. 7 Siendo oprimido (aunque fue Él quien se humilló a sí mismo), No abrió su boca; Como cordero fue llevado al matadero, Y como la oveja enmudece ante sus trasquiladores, Así no abrió su boca; 8 Con violencia, mediante juicio, fue quitado, Y de su generación, ¿quién consideró que fue cortado de la tierra de los vivientes y llagado por la transgresión de mi pueblo? 9 Y dispusieron su sepultura con los impíos, Pero con el rico fue su tumba. Y aunque nunca hizo maldad ni hubo engaño en su boca, 10 Plugo a YHVH quebrantarlo y someterlo a padecimiento. Cuando se haya puesto su vida en sacrificio expiatorio, verá a su descendencia, Vivirá por días sin fin, y la voluntad de YHVH triunfará en su mano. 11 Gracias a la aflicción de su alma, verá la luz y quedará satisfecho. Por su conocimiento, mi Siervo, el Justo, justificará a muchos, Y cargará con los pecados de ellos. 12 Por tanto, Yo le daré parte con los grandes, Y con los fuertes repartirá despojos, Por cuanto derramó su vida hasta la muerte, Y fue contado entre los pecadores, Habiendo cargado el pecado de multitudes y orado por los transgresores.
