Nations Descended from Noah

1 These are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Sons were born to them after the flood. 2 The sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras. (1Ch 1:5; Eze 38:1) 3 The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah. 4 The sons of Javan: Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim. (Nu 24:24; Ps 72:10; Isa 23:1; Isa 23:12; Eze 38:13; Da 11:30)

5 From these the coastland peoples spread in their lands, each with his own language, by their clans, in their nations. (Isa 11:11; Jer 2:10; Jer 25:22; Eze 27:6; Zep 2:11)

6 The sons of Ham: Cush, Egypt, Put, and Canaan. (1Ch 1:8) 7 The sons of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabteca. The sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan. 8 Cush fathered Nimrod; he was the first on earth to be a mighty man.^[1] 9 He was a mighty hunter before the Lord. Therefore it is said, “Like Nimrod a mighty hunter before the Lord.” 10 The beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. (Ge 11:2; Ge 11:9) 11 From that land he went into Assyria and built Nineveh, Rehoboth-Ir, Calah, and 12 Resen between Nineveh and Calah; that is the great city. 13 Egypt fathered Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Naphtuhim, (1Ch 1:11) 14 Pathrusim, Casluhim (from whom^[2] the Philistines came), and Caphtorim. (De 2:23; Jer 47:4; Am 9:7) 15 Canaan fathered Sidon his firstborn and Heth, (Ge 15:18) 16 and the Jebusites, the Amorites, the Girgashites, 17 the Hivites, the Arkites, the Sinites, 18 the Arvadites, the Zemarites, and the Hamathites. Afterward the clans of the Canaanites dispersed. 19 And the territory of the Canaanites extended from Sidon in the direction of Gerar as far as Gaza, and in the direction of Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha. 20 These are the sons of Ham, by their clans, their languages, their lands, and their nations. 21 To Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the elder brother of Japheth, children were born. 22 The sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arpachshad, Lud, and Aram. (1Ch 1:17) 23 The sons of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash. 24 Arpachshad fathered Shelah; and Shelah fathered Eber. (Ge 11:12; Lu 3:35) 25 To Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg,^[3] for in his days the earth was divided, and his brother’s name was Joktan. (1Ch 1:19) 26 Joktan fathered Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah, 27 Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah, 28 Obal, Abimael, Sheba, 29 Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab; all these were the sons of Joktan. (1Ki 9:28; 1Ki 10:11) 30 The territory in which they lived extended from Mesha in the direction of Sephar to the hill country of the east. 31 These are the sons of Shem, by their clans, their languages, their lands, and their nations. 32 These are the clans of the sons of Noah, according to their genealogies, in their nations, and from these the nations spread abroad on the earth after the flood. (Ge 9:19; Ge 10:1)

Descendencia de Sem, Cam y Jafet

1 Estos son los descendientes de Sem, Cam y Jafet, hijos de Noé, a quienes les nacieron hijos después del diluvio. 2 Los hijos de Jafet: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javán, Tubal, Mesec y Tiras. 3 Y los hijos de Gomer: Askenaz, Rifat y Togarma. 4 Y los hijos de Javán: Elisha y Tarsis, Kitim y Dodanim. 5 De estos se esparcieron los pueblos de las costas, cada uno en sus territorios, según su lengua, por sus familias en sus naciones. 6 Y los hijos de Cam: Cus, Mizraim, Fut y Canaán. 7 Y los hijos de Cus: Seba, Havila, Sabta, Raama y Sabteca. Y los hijos de Raama: Seba y Dedán. 8 Cus también engendró a Nimrod, el cual comenzó a ser poderoso en la tierra. 9 Él fue intrépido cazador enfrentado a YHVH. Por esto se dice: Como Nimrod, intrépido cazador enfrentado a YHVH. 10 El principio de su reino fue Babel, Erec, Acad y Calne, en tierra de Sinar, 11 de aquella tierra, siendo fortalecido, salió y edificó Nínive, Rehoboth-Ir, Cala 12 y Resen, entre Nínive y Cala, la cual es la gran ciudad. 13 Mizraim engendró a Ludim, a Anamim, a Lehabim, a Naftuhim, 14 a Patrusim, a Casluhim, de donde salieron los filisteos, y a Caftorim. 15 Y Canaán engendró a Sidón, su primogénito, y a Het, 16 y al jebuseo, al amorreo y al gergeseo, 17 y al heveo, y al araceo, y al sineo, 18 y al arvadeo, y al zemareo y al hemateo. Después, se dispersaron las familias de los cananeos. 19 Y la frontera del cananeo iba desde Sidón en dirección a Gerar, hasta Gaza, y en dirección de Sodoma, Gomorra, Adma y Zeboim, hasta Lasa. 20 Estos son los hijos de Cam por sus familias y sus lenguas, sus territorios y sus naciones. 21 También tuvo descendencia Sem, padre de todos los hijos de Heber, y hermano mayor de Jafet. 22 Los hijos de Sem fueron Elam, Asur, Arfaxad, Lud y Aram. 23 Los hijos de Aram fueron Uz, Hul, Geter y Mas. 24 Arfaxad engendró a Sala, y Sala engendró a Heber. 25 A Heber le nacieron dos hijos: El nombre del primero fue Peleg, porque en sus días se dividió la tierra, y el nombre de su hermano fue Joctán. 26 Y Joctán engendró a Almodad, y a Selef, y a Hazar-mavet, y a Jera, 27 y a Adoram, y a Uzal, y a Dicla, 28 y a Obal, y a Abimael, y a Seba, 29 y a Ofir, y a Havila y a Jobab. Todos éstos fueron hijos de Joctán. 30 Y fue su morada desde Mesa en dirección a Sefar, en la montaña oriental. 31 Estos son los hijos de Sem, por sus familias, por sus lenguas, en sus tierras por sus naciones. 32 Tales son por sus descendencias en sus naciones las familias de los hijos de Noé. De éstas fueron diseminadas las naciones por la tierra después del diluvio.
