Making the Ark

1 Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood. Two cubits^[1] and a half was its length, a cubit and a half its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height. (Ex 25:10) 2 And he overlaid it with pure gold inside and outside, and made a molding of gold around it. 3 And he cast for it four rings of gold for its four feet, two rings on its one side and two rings on its other side. (Ex 25:12) 4 And he made poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold 5 and put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark to carry the ark. 6 And he made a mercy seat of pure gold. Two cubits and a half was its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth. 7 And he made two cherubim of gold. He made them of hammered work on the two ends of the mercy seat, 8 one cherub on the one end, and one cherub on the other end. Of one piece with the mercy seat he made the cherubim on its two ends. 9 The cherubim spread out their wings above, overshadowing the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces one to another; toward the mercy seat were the faces of the cherubim.

Making the Table

10 He also made the table of acacia wood. Two cubits was its length, a cubit its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height. (Ex 25:23) 11 And he overlaid it with pure gold, and made a molding of gold around it. 12 And he made a rim around it a handbreadth^[2] wide, and made a molding of gold around the rim. 13 He cast for it four rings of gold and fastened the rings to the four corners at its four legs. 14 Close to the frame were the rings, as holders for the poles to carry the table. 15 He made the poles of acacia wood to carry the table, and overlaid them with gold. 16 And he made the vessels of pure gold that were to be on the table, its plates and dishes for incense, and its bowls and flagons with which to pour drink offerings.

Making the Lampstand

17 He also made the lampstand of pure gold. He made the lampstand of hammered work. Its base, its stem, its cups, its calyxes, and its flowers were of one piece with it. (Ex 25:31) 18 And there were six branches going out of its sides, three branches of the lampstand out of one side of it and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side of it; 19 three cups made like almond blossoms, each with calyx and flower, on one branch, and three cups made like almond blossoms, each with calyx and flower, on the other branch—so for the six branches going out of the lampstand. 20 And on the lampstand itself were four cups made like almond blossoms, with their calyxes and flowers, 21 and a calyx of one piece with it under each pair of the six branches going out of it. 22 Their calyxes and their branches were of one piece with it. The whole of it was a single piece of hammered work of pure gold. 23 And he made its seven lamps and its tongs and its trays of pure gold. 24 He made it and all its utensils out of a talent^[3] of pure gold.

Making the Altar of Incense

25 He made the altar of incense of acacia wood. Its length was a cubit, and its breadth was a cubit. It was square, and two cubits was its height. Its horns were of one piece with it. (Ex 30:1) 26 He overlaid it with pure gold, its top and around its sides and its horns. And he made a molding of gold around it, 27 and made two rings of gold on it under its molding, on two opposite sides of it, as holders for the poles with which to carry it. 28 And he made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold. 29 He made the holy anointing oil also, and the pure fragrant incense, blended as by the perfumer. (Ex 30:7; Ex 30:23; Ex 30:34)

1 Bezaleel hizo también el Arca de madera de acacia: de dos codos y medio su longitud, un codo y medio su anchura, y un codo y medio su altura. 2 La revistió de oro puro por dentro y por fuera, y le hizo alrededor una moldura de oro. 3 Fundió sobre ella cuatro argollas de oro para sus cuatro esquinas, dos argollas en un lado y dos argollas en el otro lado. 4 Hizo también unas varas de madera de acacia, las revistió de oro, 5 e introdujo las varas por las argollas en los lados del Arca, para llevar el Arca. 6 Hizo asimismo el propiciatorio de oro puro, dos codos y medio su longitud, y un codo y medio su anchura. 7 Hizo también dos querubines de oro, los hizo labrados a martillo a los dos extremos del propiciatorio. 8 Un querubín a un extremo y el otro querubín al otro extremo, haciendo que los querubines arrancaran del propiciatorio, a sus dos extremos. 9 Y los querubines extendían sus alas en alto, y cubrían con sus alas el propiciatorio vueltos sus rostros el uno hacia el otro; y los rostros de los querubines estaban hacia el propiciatorio. 10 También construyó la mesa de madera de acacia: de dos codos era su longitud, un codo su anchura, y un codo y medio su altura. 11 La revistió de oro puro, le hizo alrededor una moldura de oro 12 y le hizo alrededor un reborde de un palmo, y en torno a su reborde le hizo una moldura de oro. 13 Fundió para ella cuatro argollas de oro y ajustó las argollas en las cuatro esquinas de sus cuatro patas. 14 Las argollas estaban junto al reborde, como sujetadoras de las varas para transportar la mesa. 15 Hizo asimismo las varas para transportar la mesa de madera de acacia, y las revistió de oro. 16 También hizo de oro puro los utensilios que debían estar sobre la mesa: sus fuentes, sus bandejas, sus tazones y sus copas, con las cuales se habrían de derramar las libaciones. 17 Fabricó asimismo el candelabro de oro puro, labrado a martillo hizo el candelabro. Su base y su fuste, al igual que sus cálices, sus corolas y sus flores eran de una sola pieza. 18 De sus lados salían seis brazos: tres brazos de un lado del candelabro y otros tres brazos del otro lado del candelabro. 19 En un brazo había tres copas como flor de almendro, un cáliz y una flor, y en el otro brazo, tres copas como flor de almendro, un cáliz y una flor. Así en los seis brazos que salían del candelabro. 20 Y en el candelabro había cuatro copas como flor de almendro, con sus cálices y sus flores. 21 Un cáliz debajo de los dos brazos del mismo, otro cáliz debajo de los otros dos brazos, y otro cáliz bajo los otros dos brazos, para los seis brazos que salían de él. 22 Sus cálices y sus brazos eran de lo mismo. Todo él estaba labrado a martillo en una sola pieza de oro puro. 23 De oro puro hizo también sus siete lámparas, sus despabiladeras y sus platillos. 24 Lo hizo con un talento de oro puro, con todos sus utensilios. 25 Hizo también el altar del incienso, de madera de acacia: un codo su longitud y un codo su anchura, cuadrado, y dos codos su altura; y sus cuernos eran parte de él. 26 Y lo revistió de oro puro, su tapa, sus paredes en derredor y sus cuernos y le hizo una moldura de oro alrededor. 27 A sus dos lados hizo dos argollas de oro debajo de su moldura en sus dos esquinas, como sujetadores de las varas para transportarlo. 28 Hizo las varas de madera de acacia y las revistió de oro. 29 Hizo asimismo el aceite sagrado de la unción, y el incienso aromático puro, obra de perfumista.
