1If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 9No mintáis los unos a los otros, ya que os habéis desvestido del viejo hombre con sus prácticas,10y revestido del nuevo, el cual, conforme a la imagen del que lo creó, se va renovando hasta un conocimiento pleno,11donde no hay griego ni judío, circuncisión o incircuncisión, bárbaro, escita, esclavo o libre, sino que el Mesías es todo y en todos.12Por tanto, vestíos como escogidos de Dios, santos y amados, de sentimientos entrañables de compasión, de bondad, de humildad, de mansedumbre, de longanimidad;13soportándoos los unos a los otros, y perdonándoos los unos a los otros, si alguno tiene queja contra otro. Como el Señor en verdad os perdonó, así también vosotros.14Y sobre todas estas cosas, el amor, que es el vínculo perfecto.15Y la paz del Mesías sea árbitro en vuestros corazones, a la cual ciertamente fuisteis llamados en un solo cuerpo; y sed agradecidos.16La palabra del Mesías viva en vosotros en abundancia, con toda sabiduría, enseñándoos y amonestándoos los unos a los otros con salmos, e himnos, y cánticos espirituales, cantando con gratitud en vuestros corazones a Dios.17Y todo lo que hagáis, de palabra o de obra, hacedlo todo en el nombre del Señor Jesús, dando gracias a Dios Padre por medio de Él.

18Esposas, someteos a los esposos, como conviene en el Señor.19Esposos, amad a vuestras esposas y no seáis ásperos con ellas.20Hijos, obedeced a vuestros progenitores en todo, porque esto es aceptable ante el Señor.21Padres, no exasperéis a vuestros hijos, para que no se desalienten.22Siervos, obedeced en todo a vuestros señores según la carne, no sirviendo al ojo, como los que agradan a hombres, sino con sinceridad de corazón, temiendo al Señor.23Cuanto hagáis, hacedlo de corazón, como para el Señor, y no para los hombres,24sabiendo que del Señor recibiréis la recompensa de la herencia: al Señor, el Mesías, servís.25Pero el que obra con injusticia, recibirá conforme a la injusticia que obró, porque no hay acepción de personas.
