1Ein Wallfahrtslied. Als der HERR die Gefangenen[1] Zions zurückführte, waren wir wie Träumende. (Esr 1,11; Ps 14,7; Ps 85,2; Jer 33,26)2Da wurde unser Mund voll Lachen und unsere Zunge voll Jubel. Da sagte man unter den Nationen: »Der HERR hat Großes an ihnen getan!« (Hi 8,21; Jes 35,10; Jes 51,11; Hes 36,36)3Der HERR hat Großes an uns getan: Wir waren fröhlich! (Joe 2,21; Lk 1,49; Lk 8,39)4Bringe zurück, HERR, unsere Gefangenen[2], gleich den Bächen im Südland. (Jes 41,18; Jer 29,14; Jer 30,3)5Die mit Tränen säen, werden mit Jubel ernten. (Jer 31,9; Mt 5,4)6Er geht weinend hin und trägt den Samen zum Säen[3]. Er kommt heim mit Jubel und trägt seine Garben. (Ps 30,6)
