Eherne Türen werde ich zerbrechen und eiserne Riegel zerschlagen. Sagt ⟨etwa⟩ der Ton zu seinem Bildner: Was machst du?,[5] und ⟨sagt etwa⟩ dein Werk ⟨von dir⟩: Er hat keine Hände?[6] (Hi 9,4; Hi 9,12; Hi 40,2; Pred 6,10; Jes 29,16; Jes 64,7; Jer 18,6)10Weh dem, der zum Vater sagt: Warum zeugst du?, und zur Frau: Warum hast du Wehen?11So spricht der HERR, der Heilige Israels und sein Bildner: Wollt ihr mich ⟨etwa⟩ wegen meiner Kinder fragen und über das Werk meiner Hände mir Befehl geben?[7] (Jes 43,1; Jes 63,16)12Ich, ich habe die Erde gemacht und den Menschen auf ihr geschaffen. Ich ⟨war es⟩, meine Hände haben den Himmel ausgespannt, und all seinem Heer habe ich Befehl gegeben. (Ps 115,16; 1Kor 8,6)19Nicht im Verborgenen habe ich geredet,[14] am Ort eines finsteren Landes[15]. Ich sprach zu den Nachkommen Jakobs nicht: Sucht mich vergeblich[16]! Ich bin der HERR, der Gerechtigkeit redet, Wahrheit[17] verkündet. (5Mo 30,11; 2Chr 7,14; Ps 19,9; Jes 48,16; Jer 29,13)20Versammelt euch und kommt! Nähert euch allesamt, ihr Entkommenen der Nationen! Keine Erkenntnis haben die, die das Holz ihres Götterbildes tragen und zu einem Gott flehen, der nicht retten kann. (2Chr 25,15; Jes 44,9; Jes 44,18; Jes 46,7; Jes 57,13; Jer 48,47)21Berichtet und bringt ⟨Beweise⟩ herbei! Ja, sollen sie sich miteinander beraten! Wer hat dies von alters her hören lassen, schon längst es verkündet? Nicht ich, der HERR? Und sonst gibt es keinen Gott außer mir. Einen gerechten und rettenden Gott[18] gibt es außer mir nicht! (Jes 41,22; Jes 45,5)22Wendet euch zu mir und lasst euch retten, alle ihr Enden der Erde! Denn ich bin Gott und keiner sonst. (Ps 22,28; Ps 65,6; Jes 41,22; Jes 45,5)23Ich habe bei mir selbst geschworen, aus meinem Mund ist Gerechtigkeit hervorgegangen, ein Wort, das nicht zurückkehrt: Ja, jedes Knie wird sich vor mir beugen, jede Zunge ⟨mir⟩ schwören (1Mo 22,16; Ps 98,2; Jes 21,17; Jes 65,16; Röm 14,11)24und sagen: Nur in dem HERRN ist Gerechtigkeit[19] und Stärke. Zu ihm wird man kommen, und es werden alle beschämt werden, die gegen ihn entbrannt waren. von Biblica1‘This is what the Lord says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of to subdue nations before him and to strip kings of their armour, to open doors before him so that gates will not be shut:2I will go before you and will level the mountains[1]; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron.3I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.4For the sake of Jacob my servant, of Israel my chosen, I summon you by name and bestow on you a title of honour, though you do not acknowledge me.5I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me,6so that from the rising of the sun to the place of its setting people may know there is none besides me. I am the Lord, and there is no other.7I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the Lord, do all these things.8‘You heavens above, rain down my righteousness; let the clouds shower it down. They will bow down before you and plead with you, saying, “Surely God is with you, and there is no other; there is no other god.” ’15Truly you are a God who has been hiding himself, the God and Saviour of Israel.16All the makers of idols will be put to shame and disgraced; they will go off into disgrace together.17But Israel will be saved by the Lord with an everlasting salvation; you will never be put to shame or disgraced, to ages everlasting.18For this is what the Lord says – he who created the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited – he says: ‘I am the Lord, and there is no other.19I have not spoken in secret, from somewhere in a land of darkness; I have not said to Jacob’s descendants, “Seek me in vain.” I, the Lord, speak the truth; I declare what is right.20‘Gather together and come; assemble, you fugitives from the nations. Ignorant are those who carry about idols of wood, who pray to gods that cannot save.21Declare what is to be, present it – let them take counsel together. Who foretold this long ago, who declared it from the distant past? Was it not I, the Lord? And there is no God apart from me, a righteous God and a Saviour; there is none but me.22‘Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.23By myself I have sworn, my mouth has uttered in all integrity a word that will not be revoked: before me every knee will bow; by me every tongue will swear.24They will say of me, “In the Lord alone are deliverance and strength.” ’ All who have raged against him will come to him and be put to shame.25But all the descendants of Israel will find deliverance in the Lord and will make their boast in him.
