Die Frauen am leeren Grab – Erscheinung des Auferstandenen

1 Aber nach dem Sabbat, in der ⟨Morgen⟩dämmerung des ersten Tages der Woche^[1], kam Maria Magdalena^[2] und die andere Maria, um das Grab zu besehen. (Mt 27,61) 2 Und siehe, da geschah ein großes Erdbeben; denn ein Engel des Herrn kam aus dem Himmel herab, trat hinzu, wälzte den Stein weg und setzte sich darauf. (Mt 27,51) 3 Sein Ansehen aber war wie der Blitz und sein Gewand weiß wie Schnee. (Mt 17,2) 4 Aber aus Furcht vor ihm bebten die Wächter und wurden wie Tote. (Lk 2,9) 5 Der Engel aber begann^[3] und sprach zu den Frauen: Fürchtet euch nicht! Denn ich weiß, dass ihr Jesus, den Gekreuzigten, sucht. (Lk 2,10) 6 Er ist nicht hier, denn er ist auferweckt worden, wie er gesagt hat. Kommt her, seht die Stätte, wo er gelegen hat, (Mt 16,21; Apg 2,24; Röm 1,4) 7 und geht schnell hin und sagt seinen Jüngern, dass er von den Toten auferweckt worden ist! Und siehe, er geht vor euch hin nach Galiläa, dort werdet ihr ihn sehen. Siehe, ich habe es euch gesagt. (Mt 24,25; Mt 26,32; Lk 24,23; Joh 16,16; Offb 1,18)

8 Und sie gingen schnell von der Gruft weg mit Furcht und großer Freude und liefen, es seinen Jüngern zu verkünden. (Joh 16,22) 9 Und siehe, Jesus kam^[4] ihnen entgegen und sprach: Seid gegrüßt! Sie aber traten zu ⟨ihm⟩, umfassten seine Füße und warfen sich ⟨vor ihm⟩ nieder. 10 Da spricht Jesus zu ihnen: Fürchtet euch nicht! Geht hin, verkündet meinen Brüdern, dass sie hingehen nach Galiläa! 11 Während sie aber hingingen, siehe, da kamen einige von der Wache in die Stadt und verkündeten den Hohen Priestern alles, was geschehen war. 12 Und sie versammelten sich mit den Ältesten und hielten Rat; und sie gaben den Soldaten reichlich Geld 13 und sagten: Sprecht: Seine Jünger kamen bei Nacht und stahlen ihn, während wir schliefen. (Mt 27,64) 14 Und wenn dies dem Statthalter zu Ohren kommen sollte, so werden wir ihn beschwichtigen und machen, dass ihr ohne Sorge seid. 15 Sie aber nahmen das Geld und taten, wie sie unterrichtet worden waren. Und diese Rede verbreitete sich bei den Juden bis auf den heutigen Tag.

16 Die elf Jünger aber gingen nach Galiläa, an den Berg, wohin Jesus sie bestellt hatte. (Mt 28,7) 17 Und als sie ihn sahen, warfen sie sich ⟨vor ihm⟩ nieder; einige aber zweifelten. 19 Geht nun hin und macht alle Nationen zu Jüngern, und tauft sie^[6] auf den Namen des Vaters und des Sohnes und des Heiligen Geistes, (Mk 16,15) 20 und lehrt sie^[7] alles zu bewahren^[8], was ich euch geboten habe! Jesus has risen

1 After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. 2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men. 5 The angel said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: “He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.” Now I have told you.’ 8 So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9 Suddenly Jesus met them. ‘Greetings,’ he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshipped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.’

The guards’ report

11 While the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened. 12 When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money, 13 telling them, ‘You are to say, “His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.” 14 If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.’ 15 So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day.

The great commission

16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshipped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’

1 La mattina dopo, allʼalba, Maria Maddalena e lʼaltra Maria, andarono a visitare la tomba di Gesù. 2 Improvvisamente ci fu un gran terremoto, perché un angelo del Signore, sceso dal cielo, aveva fatto rotolare da una parte la pietra e vi si era seduto sopra. 3 Il suo viso splendeva come un lampo e i suoi vestiti erano bianchi come la neve. 4 Quando lo videro, le guardie cominciarono a tremare di paura e caddero a terra svenute. 5 Allora lʼangelo disse alle donne: «Non abbiate paura! So che cercate Gesù, che è stato crocifisso. 6 Ma non è più qui, perché è risorto, proprio come vi aveva detto. Venite a vedere dove giaceva il suo corpo… 7 Ed ora, presto! Andate a dire ai suoi discepoli che il Signore è risuscitato dalla morte e che li aspetta in Galilea! Ecco, questo è ciò che vi dovevo dire». 8 Le donne sʼallontanarono di corsa dalla tomba, spaventate a morte, è vero, ma piene di gioia. Si precipitarono a cercare i discepoli per riferire le parole dellʼangelo. 9 Mentre stavano correndo, improvvisamente Gesù apparve davanti a loro e disse: «Buongiorno!» Le donne caddero in terra davanti a lui, gli abbracciarono le gambe e lo adorarono. 10 Allora Gesù disse loro: «Non abbiate paura! Andate a dire ai miei fratelli di partire immediatamente per la Galilea, sarà là che mʼincontreranno». 11 Mentre le donne sʼincamminavano verso la città, alcune guardie del tempio, che avevano sorvegliato la tomba, si precipitarono dai sacerdoti a raccontare loro ciò che era accaduto. 12-13 Tutti i capi giudei si riunirono e decisero di corrompere le guardie, perché dicessero che durante la notte, mentre dormivano, i discepoli erano venuti a rubare il corpo di Gesù. 14 «Se la notizia arriva allʼorecchio del governatore», promisero i capi giudei alle guardie, «noi prendiamo le vostre difese e tutto andrà per il meglio!» 15 Le guardie si lasciarono corrompere e fecero come era stato loro detto. La loro versione dei fatti si sparse fra gli Ebrei, che ancora oggi la ritengono valida. 16 Gli undici discepoli, andarono in Galilea e salirono sulla montagna che Gesù aveva loro indicato. 17 Là lo incontrarono e lo adorarono, ma alcuni di loro non erano del tutto convinti che quello fosse davvero Gesù. 18 Gesù disse ai suoi discepoli: «Mi è stato dato ogni potere sia in cielo che in terra. 19 Perciò andate ad ammaestrare tutti i popoli e battezzate chi crede in me nel nome del Padre, del Figlio e dello Spirito Santo. 20 A questi nuovi discepoli insegnate ad ubbidire a tutti i comandamenti che vi ho dato; e siate certi di questo: Io sarò sempre con voi, fino alla fine del mondo».
