1 Halleluja! Lobe den HERRN, meine Seele! (Ps 103,1) 2 Loben will ich den HERRN mein Leben lang, will spielen meinem Gott, solange ich bin. (Ps 104,33; Ps 145,1) 3 Vertraut nicht auf Edle, auf einen Menschensohn, bei dem keine Rettung ist! (Ps 118,8; Jer 17,5) 4 Sein Geist geht aus, er kehrt wieder zu seiner Erde: am selben Tag gehen seine Pläne verloren. (Ps 90,3; Pred 9,6) 5 Glücklich der, dessen Hilfe der Gott Jakobs ist, dessen Hoffnung auf dem HERRN, seinem Gott, steht, (Ps 46,8; Jer 17,7; 1Tim 6,17) 6 der Himmel und Erde gemacht hat, das Meer und alles, was in ihnen ist; der Treue hält auf ewig. (Ps 115,15; Ps 117,2; Jer 32,17; Apg 4,24) 7 Er schafft Recht den Bedrückten, er gibt den Hungrigen Brot. Der HERR macht die Gefangenen frei. (Ps 35,10; Ps 68,7; Ps 107,9) 8 Der HERR öffnet die Augen der Blinden. Der HERR richtet die Gebeugten auf. Der HERR liebt die Gerechten. (Ps 145,14; Mt 9,30; Lk 13,13; Joh 9,32; Apg 26,18) 9 Der HERR behütet die Fremdlinge, Waisen und Witwen hilft er auf; aber er krümmt den Weg der Gottlosen. (2Mo 22,21; 5Mo 10,18; Ps 10,14) 10 Der HERR wird regieren in Ewigkeit, dein Gott, Zion, von Generation zu Generation. Halleluja! (2Mo 15,18; Ps 145,13)

1 Praise the LORD. I will praise the LORD. 2 I will praise the LORD all my life. I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. 3 Don’t put your trust in human leaders. Don’t trust in people who can’t save you. 4 When they die, they return to the ground. On that day their plans come to nothing. 5 Blessed are those who depend on the God of Jacob for help. Blessed are those who put their hope in the LORD their God. 6 He is the Maker of heaven and earth and the ocean. He made everything in them. He remains faithful for ever. 7 He stands up for those who are treated badly. He gives food to hungry people. The LORD sets prisoners free. 8 The LORD gives sight to those who are blind. The LORD lifts up those who feel helpless. The LORD loves those who do what is right. 9 The LORD watches over the outsiders who live in our land. He takes good care of children whose fathers have died. He also takes good care of widows. But he causes evil people to fail in everything they do. 10 The LORD rules for ever. The God of Zion will rule for all time to come. Praise the LORD.
