Das zukünftige Friedensreich: Die Völker holen sich Rat in Zion – Gottes heilvolle Herrschaft
1Und es wird geschehen am Ende der Tage, da wird der Berg des Hauses des HERRN fest stehen als Haupt[1] der Berge, und erhaben wird er sein über die Hügel. Und Völker werden zu ihm strömen, (Isa 2:2; Eze 17:23; Eze 38:16; Zec 14:10)2und viele Nationen werden hingehen und sagen: Kommt, lasst uns hinaufziehen zum Berg des HERRN und zum Haus des Gottes Jakobs, dass er uns aufgrund seiner Wege belehrt und wir auf seinen Pfaden gehen. Denn von Zion wird Weisung[2] ausgehen und das Wort des HERRN von Jerusalem. (Ps 25:8; Isa 51:4; Zec 8:22)3Und er wird richten zwischen vielen Völkern und Recht sprechen für mächtige Nationen bis in die Ferne. Dann werden sie ihre Schwerter zu Pflugscharen umschmieden[3] und ihre Speere zu Winzermessern. Nicht ⟨mehr⟩ wird[4] Nation gegen Nation das Schwert erheben, und sie werden das Kriegführen nicht mehr lernen. (Ps 46:10; Ho 2:20; Joe 4:12)4Und sie werden sitzen, jeder unter seinem Weinstock und unter seinem Feigenbaum, und niemand wird sie aufschrecken. Denn der Mund des HERRN der Heerscharen hat geredet. – (1Ki 5:5; Isa 1:20; Isa 32:17; Jer 23:4; Jer 30:10; Mic 5:3; Zep 3:13)5Ja, alle Völker leben[5], ein jedes im Namen seines Gottes. Wir aber leben[6] im Namen des HERRN, unseres Gottes, für immer und ewig. (2Ki 17:29; Ps 20:6; Jer 32:40; Zec 10:12)6An jenem Tag, spricht der HERR[7], sammle ich das Hinkende, und das Vertriebene bringe ich zusammen und ⟨das,⟩ dem ich Übles getan habe. (Ps 147:2; Jer 31:8; Eze 34:16; Mic 2:12; Zep 3:19)7Und ich mache das Hinkende zu einem Rest und das Ermattete[8] zu einer mächtigen Nation. Da wird der HERR König über sie sein auf dem Berg Zion, von da an bis in Ewigkeit. – (Isa 24:23; Isa 60:22; Eze 43:7; Joe 4:17; Mic 2:12; Mic 2:13)8Und du, Herdenturm, du Hügel der Tochter Zion, zu dir wird gelangen und zu dir wird kommen die frühere Herrschaft, das Königtum der Tochter Jerusalem. (Ps 24:7; Zec 9:9)
Zions Bedrohung und Rettung – Der Herrscher der Endzeit aus Bethlehem
9Jetzt! Warum erhebst du ein Geschrei? Ist kein König in dir? Oder ist dein Ratgeber umgekommen, dass dich Wehen ergriffen haben wie eine Gebärende? (Jer 4:31; Jer 30:6; Joh 16:21; Re 12:2)10Kreiße und brülle[9], Tochter Zion, wie eine Gebärende! Denn jetzt musst du aus der Stadt hinausziehen und auf ⟨freiem⟩ Feld wohnen und bis nach Babel kommen. Dort wirst du gerettet werden, dort wird der HERR dich aus der Hand deiner Feinde erlösen. (2Ch 36:20; Jer 4:31; Mic 5:2; Joh 16:21; Re 12:2)11Aber jetzt! Da haben sich viele Nationen gegen dich versammelt, die sagen: Sie werde entweiht! und: Unsere Augen sollen an Zion ⟨ihre Lust⟩ sehen! (Ps 83:5; Ob 1:12; Zec 12:3)12Aber sie kennen nicht die Gedanken des HERRN und verstehen seinen Ratschluss nicht, dass er sie gesammelt hat wie Garben auf der Tenne. (Isa 10:7; Jer 51:33)13Mache dich auf und drisch, Tochter Zion! Denn dein Horn mache ich zu Eisen, und deine Hufe mache ich zu Bronze, damit du viele Völker zermalmst. Und ich werde ihren Raub dem HERRN weihen[10] und ihr Vermögen dem Herrn der ganzen Erde. (2Sa 8:11; Ps 24:1; Isa 41:15; Mic 5:7; Zec 12:3)14Jetzt! Ritze dich, Tochter der Kriegsschar[11]! Man hat[12] eine Belagerung gegen uns gerichtet; mit dem Stab schlagen sie den Richter Israels auf die Backe. (Jer 4:5; Zec 12:2; Mt 27:30; Mr 14:65; Mr 15:19; Joh 19:3)
People from many nations will worship at the Lord’s mountain
1In the last days the mountain where the LORD’s temple is located will be famous. It will be the highest mountain of all. It will be lifted up above the hills. And nations will go to it.2People from many nations will go there. They will say, ‘Come, let us go up to the LORD’s mountain. Let’s go to the temple of Jacob’s God. He will teach us how we should live. Then we will live the way he wants us to.’ The law of the LORD will be taught at Zion. His message will go out from Jerusalem.3He will judge between people from many nations. He’ll settle problems among strong nations everywhere. They will hammer their swords into ploughs. They’ll hammer their spears into pruning tools. Nations will not go to war against one another. They won’t even train to fight anymore.4Everyone will have their own vine and fig tree. And no one will make them afraid. That’s what the LORD who rules over all has promised.5Other nations worship and trust in their gods. But we will worship and obey the LORD. He will be our God for ever and ever.
The Lord’s plan
6‘The time is coming when I will gather those who are disabled,’ announces the LORD. ‘I will bring together those who were taken away as prisoners. I will gather those I have allowed to suffer.7I will make the disabled my faithful people. I will make into a strong nation those driven away from their homes. I will rule over them on Mount Zion. I will be their King from that time on and for ever.8Jerusalem, you used to be like a guard tower for my flock. City of Zion, you used to be a place of safety for my people. The glorious kingdom you had before will be given back to you. Once again a king will rule over your people.’9Why are you crying out so loudly now? Don’t you have a king? Has your ruler died? Is that why pain comes on you like the pain of a woman having a baby?10People of Zion, groan with pain. Cry out like a woman having a baby. Soon you must leave your city. You must camp in the open fields. You will have to go to the land of Babylon. But that’s where the LORD will save you. There he will set you free from the power of your enemies.11But now many nations have gathered together to attack you. They say, ‘Let Jerusalem be made “unclean”. We want to laugh when Zion suffers!’12But those nations don’t know what the LORD has in mind. They don’t understand his plan. He has planned to gather them up like bundles of corn. He has planned to take them to his threshing-floor.13The LORD says, ‘People of Zion, get up and crush your enemies. I will make you like a threshing ox. I will give you iron horns and bronze hooves. So you will crush many nations.’ They got their money in the wrong way. But you will set it apart to the LORD. You will give their wealth to the Lord of the whole earth.
