1Und der HERR redete zu Mose:2Rede zu den Söhnen Israel und sage zu ihnen: Die Feste[1] des HERRN, die ihr als heilige Versammlungen ausrufen sollt, meine Feste sind diese: (2Chr 2,3; Esr 3,5; Hes 44,24; Kol 2,16)3Sechs Tage soll man Arbeit tun; aber am siebten Tag ist ein ganz feierlicher Sabbat[2], eine heilige Versammlung. Keinerlei Arbeit dürft ihr tun; es ist ein Sabbat für den HERRN in all euren Wohnsitzen. (2Mo 20,8)4Dies sind die Feste des HERRN, heilige Versammlungen, die ihr ausrufen sollt zu ihrer bestimmten Zeit: (Jes 29,1)5Im ersten Monat, am Vierzehnten des Monats, zwischen den zwei Abenden[3], ist Passah dem HERRN. (2Mo 12,2; Mt 26,17)6Am fünfzehnten Tag dieses Monats ist das Fest der ungesäuerten Brote dem HERRN; sieben Tage sollt ihr ungesäuertes Brot essen. (2Mo 12,15; Mk 14,1)7Am ersten Tag soll für euch eine heilige Versammlung sein, keinerlei Dienstarbeit dürft ihr tun. (3Mo 23,21; 4Mo 28,18; 4Mo 29,1)8Und ihr sollt dem HERRN sieben Tage ⟨lang⟩ ein Feueropfer darbringen. Am siebten Tag ist eine heilige Versammlung, keinerlei Dienstarbeit dürft ihr tun. (Hes 45,23)9Und der HERR redete zu Mose:10Rede zu den Söhnen Israel und sage zu ihnen: Wenn ihr in das Land kommt, das ich euch gebe, und ihr seine Ernte erntet, dann sollt ihr eine Garbe der Erstlinge eurer Ernte zum Priester bringen. (2Mo 23,16; 3Mo 2,12)11Und er soll die Garbe vor dem HERRN schwingen zum Wohlgefallen für euch; am andern Tag nach dem Sabbat soll der Priester sie schwingen. (2Mo 29,24)12Und ihr sollt an dem Tag, an dem ihr die Garbe schwingt, ein einjähriges Lamm ohne Fehler zum Brandopfer für den HERRN opfern; (3Mo 1,10)13und sein Speisopfer: zwei Zehntel Weizengrieß, mit Öl gemengt[4], ein Feueropfer für den HERRN, ein wohlgefälliger Geruch[5]; und sein Trankopfer: ein viertel Hin Wein. (3Mo 2,14; 4Mo 15,5)14Und Brot und geröstete Körner und Jungkorn dürft ihr nicht essen bis zu ebendiesem Tag, bis ihr die Opfergabe eures Gottes gebracht habt: eine ewige Ordnung für eure Generationen in all euren Wohnsitzen. (2Mo 27,21; 3Mo 19,23; 3Mo 23,31)15Und ihr sollt für euch zählen von dem Tag nach dem Sabbat, von dem Tag, an dem ihr die Garbe fürs Schwingopfer gebracht habt: Es sollen sieben volle Wochen sein. (2Mo 34,22; 5Mo 16,9)16Bis zum andern Tag nach dem siebten Sabbat sollt ihr fünfzig Tage zählen. Dann sollt ihr dem HERRN ein neues Speisopfer darbringen. (4Mo 28,26; Apg 2,1)17Aus euren Wohnungen sollt ihr Brot fürs Schwingopfer bringen, zwei von zwei Zehnteln Weizengrieß sollen es sein, gesäuert sollen sie gebacken werden, als Erstlinge für den HERRN. (2Mo 23,16; 4Mo 15,20)18Und ihr sollt zu dem Brot hinzu sieben einjährige Lämmer ohne Fehler darbringen und einen Jungstier und zwei Widder, sie sollen ein Brandopfer für den HERRN sein, dazu ihr Speisopfer und ihre Trankopfer: ein Feueropfer als wohlgefälliger Geruch[6] für den HERRN. (3Mo 1,3)19Und ihr sollt einen Ziegenbock[7] zum Sündopfer opfern und zwei einjährige Lämmer zum Heilsopfer[8]. (3Mo 3,6; 3Mo 4,23; 4Mo 15,24)20Und der Priester soll sie schwingen mit dem Erstlingsbrot[9] als Schwingopfer vor dem HERRN, mit den zwei Lämmern; sie sollen dem HERRN heilig sein für den Priester. (4Mo 18,8)21Und ihr sollt an ebendiesem Tag einen Ruf ergehen lassen – eine heilige Versammlung soll euch[10] sein. Keinerlei Dienstarbeit dürft ihr tun: eine ewige Ordnung in all euren Wohnsitzen für eure Generationen. – (2Mo 27,21; 3Mo 23,7; 3Mo 23,31)22Und wenn ihr die Ernte eures Landes erntet, darfst du den Rand deines Feldes nicht vollständig abernten, und du sollst keine Nachlese deiner Ernte halten; für den Elenden und für den Fremden sollst du sie lassen. Ich bin der HERR, euer Gott. (3Mo 19,9; 4Mo 29,1)23Und der HERR redete zu Mose:24Rede zu den Söhnen Israel: Im siebten Monat, am Ersten des Monats, soll euch Ruhe[11] sein, eine Erinnerung durch Lärm⟨blasen⟩, eine heilige Versammlung. (Neh 8,2)25Keinerlei Dienstarbeit dürft ihr tun, und ihr sollt dem HERRN ein Feueropfer darbringen. (4Mo 29,7; Esr 3,6)26Und der HERR redete zu Mose:27Doch am Zehnten dieses siebten Monats, da ist der Versöhnungstag. Eine heilige Versammlung soll ⟨er⟩ für euch sein, und ihr sollt euch selbst demütigen[12] und sollt dem HERRN ein Feueropfer darbringen. (3Mo 16,1; 3Mo 16,29)28Und keinerlei Arbeit dürft ihr tun an ebendiesem Tag; denn es ist der Versöhnungstag, um Sühnung für euch zu erwirken vor dem HERRN, eurem Gott. (3Mo 16,30)29Denn jede Person[13], die sich nicht demütigt an ebendiesem Tag, die soll ausgerottet werden aus ihren Völkern[14]. (2Mo 30,33; Apg 3,23)30Und jede Person[15], die irgendeine Arbeit tut an ebendiesem Tag, ebendiese Person[16] werde ich umkommen lassen aus der Mitte ihres Volkes.31Keinerlei Arbeit dürft ihr tun: eine ewige Ordnung für eure Generationen in all euren Wohnsitzen. (3Mo 23,14)32Ein ganz feierlicher Sabbat[17] soll er für euch sein, und ihr sollt euch selbst demütigen[18]. Am Neunten des Monats, am Abend, vom Abend bis zum Abend, sollt ihr euren Sabbat feiern[19]. (3Mo 16,29; 4Mo 29,12)33Und der HERR redete zu Mose:34Rede zu den Söhnen Israel: Am fünfzehnten Tag dieses siebten Monats ist das Fest der Laubhütten sieben Tage für den HERRN. (2Mo 23,16; 2Mo 34,22; 5Mo 16,13; 5Mo 31,10; 1Kön 8,2; 1Kön 12,32; Esr 3,4; Neh 8,14; Hes 45,25; Sach 14,16; Joh 7,2)35Am ersten Tag soll eine heilige Versammlung sein, keinerlei Dienstarbeit dürft ihr tun.36Sieben Tage sollt ihr dem HERRN ein Feueropfer darbringen. Am achten Tag soll für euch eine heilige Versammlung sein, und ihr sollt dem HERRN ein Feueropfer darbringen: Es ist eine Festversammlung, keinerlei Dienstarbeit dürft ihr tun. (3Mo 23,7; Neh 8,18; Joh 7,37)37Das sind die Feste des HERRN, die ihr ausrufen sollt als heilige Versammlungen, um dem HERRN Feueropfer darzubringen: Brandopfer und Speisopfer, Schlachtopfer und Trankopfer, die Gebühr des Tages an seinem Tag;38außer den Sabbaten des HERRN und außer euren Gaben und außer all euren Gelübden und außer all euren freiwilligen Gaben, die ihr dem HERRN gebt. (4Mo 29,39; Ps 56,13; Ps 76,12)39Doch am fünfzehnten Tag des siebten Monats, wenn ihr den Ertrag des Landes eingesammelt habt, sollt ihr sieben Tage das Fest des HERRN feiern. Am ersten Tag soll Ruhe[20] sein, und am achten Tag soll Ruhe sein.40Und ihr sollt euch am ersten Tag prächtige Baumfrüchte nehmen, Palmwedel und Zweige von dicht belaubten Bäumen und von Bachpappeln und sollt euch vor dem HERRN, eurem Gott, sieben Tage freuen. (5Mo 12,12; Neh 8,14)41Und ihr sollt es sieben Tage im Jahr als Fest für den HERRN feiern: eine ewige Ordnung für eure Generationen; im siebten Monat sollt ihr es feiern. (3Mo 23,14)42In Laubhütten sollt ihr wohnen sieben Tage. Alle Einheimischen in Israel sollen in Laubhütten wohnen, (Hos 12,10)43damit eure Generationen wissen[21], dass ich die Söhne Israel in Laubhütten habe wohnen lassen, als ich sie aus dem Land Ägypten herausführte. Ich bin der HERR, euer Gott. – (2Mo 12,51)44Und Mose sagte den Söhnen Israel die Feste des HERRN.
1The LORD said to Moses,2‘Speak to the Israelites. Tell them, “Here are my appointed feast days. They are the appointed feast days of the LORD. Tell the people that they must come together for these sacred assemblies.
The Sabbath day
3‘ “There are six days when you can work. But the seventh day is a day of sabbath rest. You must rest on it. Come together on that sacred day. You must not do any work on it. No matter where you live, it is a Sabbath day to honour the LORD.
Passover and unleavened bread
4‘ “Here are the LORD’s appointed feasts. Tell the people that they must come together for these sacred gatherings at their appointed times.5The LORD’s Passover begins when the sun goes down on the 14th day of the first month.6The LORD’s Feast of Unleavened Bread begins on the 15th day of that month. For seven days you must eat bread made without yeast.7On the first day you must come together for a special service. Do not do any regular work on that day.8On each of the seven days bring a food offering to the LORD. On the seventh day come together for a special service. Do not do any regular work on that day.” ’
The first share of Israel’s crops belongs to the Lord
9The LORD said to Moses,10‘Speak to the Israelites. Tell them, “When you enter the land I am going to give you, bring an offering to the LORD. Gather your crops. Bring the first bundle of corn to the priest.11He must lift up the corn and wave it in front of the LORD. Then the LORD will accept it from you. The priest must wave it on the day after the Sabbath.12On the day he waves the corn for you, you must sacrifice a burnt offering to me. It must be a lamb that does not have any flaws. It must be a year old.13You must bring it together with its grain offering. The grain offering must be 3 kilograms of the finest flour. Mix it with olive oil. It is a food offering presented to the LORD. It has a pleasant smell. You must offer a drink offering along with the burnt offering. It must be a litre of wine.14You must not eat any bread until the day you bring your offering to the LORD your God. You must not eat any cooked corn or any of your first corn until that time. This is a law that will last for all time to come. It applies no matter where you live.
The Feast of Weeks
15‘ “The day you brought the corn for the wave offering was the day after the Sabbath. Count seven full weeks from that day.16Count 50 days up to the day after the seventh Sabbath. On that day bring to the LORD an offering of your first corn.17Bring two loaves of bread that are made with 3 kilograms of the finest flour. They must be baked with yeast. Bring them to me as a wave offering from the first share of your crops. That applies no matter where you live.18Together with the bread, bring seven male lambs. Each lamb must be a year old. It must not have any flaws. Also bring one young bull and two rams. They will be a burnt offering to the LORD. They will be offered together with their grain offerings and drink offerings. They are food offerings. Their smell pleases the LORD.19Then sacrifice one male goat for a sin offering. Also sacrifice two lambs for a friendship offering. Each of the lambs must be a year old.20The priest must lift up the two lambs and wave them in front of me as a wave offering. He must offer them together with the bread made out of the first share of your crops. They are a sacred offering to the LORD. They will be given to the priest.21On that same day tell the people that they must come together for a special worship service. They must not do any regular work. That is a law that will last for all time to come. It applies no matter where you live.22‘ “Suppose you are gathering your crops. Then do not harvest all the way to the edges of your field. And do not pick up the corn you missed. Leave some for the poor people and the outsiders who live among you. I am the LORD your God.” ’
The Feast of Trumpets
23The LORD said to Moses,24‘Say to the Israelites, “On the first day of the seventh month you must have a day of sabbath rest. It must be a special service announced with trumpet blasts.25Do not do any regular work on that day. Instead, bring a food offering to the LORD.” ’
The day when sin is paid for
26The LORD spoke to Moses. He said,27‘The tenth day of the seventh month is the day when sin is paid for. Come together for a special service. Do not eat any food. Bring a food offering to the LORD.28Do not do any work on that day. It is the day when sin is paid for. On that day your sin will be paid for in my sight. I am the LORD your God.29Suppose you do eat food on that day. Then you will be separated from your people.30I will destroy anyone among your people who does any work on that day.31You must not do any work at all. This is a law that will last for all time to come. It applies no matter where you live.32That day is a day of sabbath rest for you. You must rest on it. You must not eat anything on that day. You must follow the rules of the sabbath rest. Follow them from the evening of the ninth day of the month until the following evening.’
The Feast of Booths
33The LORD said to Moses,34‘Say to the Israelites, “On the 15th day of the seventh month the LORD’s Feast of Booths begins. It lasts for seven days.35On the first day you must come together for a special service. Do not do any regular work on that day.36On each of the seven days bring a food offering to the LORD. On the eighth day come together for a special service. Bring a food offering to the LORD. That special service is the closing service. Do not do any regular work on that day.37‘ “These are the LORD’s appointed feasts. Tell the people that they must come together for these sacred assemblies. During those times, the people must bring food offerings to the LORD. They are burnt offerings and grain offerings. They are sacrifices and drink offerings. Each offering must be brought at its required time.38The offerings are in addition to those of the days of sabbath rest. The offerings are also in addition to your gifts and anything you have promised. They are also in addition to all the offerings you choose to give to the LORD.39‘ “Begin with the 15th day of the seventh month. That is after you have gathered your crops. On that day celebrate the LORD’s Feast of Booths for seven days. The first day is a day of rest. The eighth day is also a day of rest.40On the first day you must get branches from palms, willows and other leafy trees. You must be filled with joy in front of the LORD your God for seven days.41Celebrate the LORD’s Feast of Booths for seven days each year. This is a law that will last for all time to come. Celebrate the feast in the seventh month.42Live in booths for seven days. All the Israelites must live in booths.43Then your children after you will know that I made the Israelites live in booths. I made them do it after I brought them out of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.” ’44So Moses announced to the Israelites the appointed feasts of the LORD.
