Verschiedene Zeichenhandlungen zur Darstellung der Belagerung und Schuld Jerusalems
1Und du, Menschensohn, nimm dir einen Ziegelstein, und lege ihn vor dich hin, und zeichne darauf eine Stadt, ⟨nämlich⟩ Jerusalem! (Jes 20,3; Hes 5,1; Hes 12,3)2Und verhänge eine Belagerung gegen sie, und baue Belagerungstürme gegen sie, und schütte gegen sie einen Belagerungswall auf, und stelle Heerlager gegen sie, und errichte Sturmböcke gegen sie ringsherum! (Jer 6,6; Hes 21,27; Lk 19,43)3Und du, nimm dir eine eiserne Pfanne, und stelle sie als eine eiserne Wand zwischen dich und die Stadt! Und richte dein Gesicht gegen sie, dass sie in Belagerung ist und du sie belagerst! Das ist ein Wahrzeichen für das Haus Israel. (Jes 22,7; Hes 12,6; Hes 24,24)4Und du, lege dich auf deine linke Seite, und lege die Schuld des Hauses Israel auf dich[1]: Nach der Anzahl der Tage, die du auf ihr liegst, ⟨so lange⟩ sollst du ihre Schuld tragen!5Und ich habe dir die Jahre ihrer Schuld zu einer Anzahl von Tagen gemacht: 390 Tage. ⟨So lange⟩ sollst du die Schuld des Hauses Israel tragen.6Und hast du diese ⟨Zeit⟩ vollendet, so lege dich zum zweiten Mal hin, ⟨nun⟩ auf deine rechte Seite, und trage die Schuld des Hauses Juda! Vierzig Tage lang, je einen Tag für ein Jahr, habe ich ⟨sie⟩ dir auferlegt[2]. – (4Mo 14,34; Dan 9,24)7Und gegen die Belagerung Jerusalems richte dein Gesicht und deinen entblößten Arm, und du sollst gegen es weissagen!8Und siehe, ich lege dir Stricke an, dass du dich nicht von einer Seite auf die andere umdrehen kannst, bis du die Tage deiner Belagerung vollendet hast. (Hes 3,25; Hes 5,2)9Und du, nimm dir Weizen und Gerste und Bohnen und Linsen und Hirse und Korn[3], und tu sie in ein einziges Gefäß! Und mache dir Brot daraus nach der Zahl der Tage, die du auf deiner Seite liegst: 390 Tage sollst du davon essen!10Und deine Nahrung, die du essen wirst, soll nach ⟨genau abgemessenem⟩ Gewicht sein: zwanzig Schekel für den Tag; von Zeit zu Zeit[4] sollst du davon essen!11Und Wasser sollst du nach ⟨genau festgesetztem⟩ Maß trinken: ein sechstel Hin; von Zeit zu Zeit[5] sollst du trinken!12Und wie Gerstenbrotfladen sollst du sie[6] essen, und du sollst sie in Mistfladen aus Menschenkot vor ihren Augen backen!13Und der HERR sprach: So werden die Söhne Israel ihr Brot unrein essen unter den Nationen, wohin ich sie vertreiben werde. Siehe, meine Seele ist nie unrein gemacht worden, und weder Aas noch Zerrissenes habe ich gegessen von meiner Jugend an bis jetzt, und nichts Unreines[7] ist in meinen Mund gekommen. (2Mo 22,30; 3Mo 11,39; 5Mo 14,3; Apg 10,14)15Und er sprach zu mir: Siehe, ich habe dir Rindermist statt Menschenkot gestattet; und darauf magst du dein Brot bereiten.16Und er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn, siehe, ich zerbreche den Stab[8] des Brotes in Jerusalem – und sie werden Brot essen nach ⟨genau abgemessenem⟩ Gewicht und in Angst und Wasser trinken nach ⟨genau abgemessenem⟩ Maß und in Entsetzen –, (3Mo 26,26; 2Kön 25,3; Kla 4,9; Hes 5,16; Hes 12,18; Hes 14,13)17damit sie an Brot und Wasser Mangel haben und miteinander[9] verschmachten und in ihrer Schuld[10] dahinschwinden. 1Thou also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and pourtray upon it the city, even Jerusalem:2And lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it round about.3Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it.
