1Und das Wort des HERRN geschah zu mir im neunten Jahr, im zehnten Monat, am Zehnten des Monats: (Hes 8,1; Sach 8,19)2Menschensohn, schreibe dir den Namen des Tages auf, ebendieses Tages! An ebendiesem Tag wirft sich der König von Babel ⟨mit seinem Heer⟩ auf Jerusalem. (2Kön 25,1; Jer 39,1)3Und rede ein Gleichnis zu dem widerspenstigen Haus, und sage zu ihnen: So spricht der Herr, HERR: Setze den Topf auf, setze ⟨ihn⟩ auf, und gieße auch Wasser hinein! (Jer 1,13; Hes 2,2; Hes 11,3; Hes 17,2)4Lege seine ⟨Fleisch⟩stücke zusammen hinein, lauter gute Stücke, Lende und Schulter; auserlesene Knochen fülle ein!5Nimm auserlesene Schafe, und schichte auch ringsherum die Holzstücke[1] darunter; lass seine ⟨Fleisch⟩stücke sieden[2]; auch seine Knochen sollen darin kochen! –6Darum, so spricht der Herr, HERR: Wehe, Stadt der Blutschuld! Topf, an dem sein Rost ist und dessen Rost nicht von ihm abgeht! Auch ich werde den Holzstoß groß machen. Du aber sollst nicht klagen und nicht weinen, und keine Träne soll dir kommen.17Stöhne bewegungslos, Totenklage stell nicht an; binde dir deinen Kopfbund um, und zieh deine Schuhe an deine Füße! Deinen Bart sollst du nicht verhüllen und Brot der Trauer[14] nicht essen! (3Mo 10,6; 2Sam 15,30; Jer 16,5; Mi 3,7)18Und ich redete zum Volk am Morgen, und am Abend starb meine Frau. Ihr werdet nicht klagen und nicht weinen, sondern werdet dahinschwinden in euren[18] Sünden und seufzen einer zum andern hin. (Hes 4,3)25Und du, Menschensohn, siehe, an dem Tag, da ich ihre Zuflucht[19] wegnehme von ihnen, die Freude ihrer Pracht, das in ihren Augen Begehrenswerte[20] und die Sehnsucht ihrer Seelen, ihre Söhne und ihre Töchter;26an jenem Tag wird ein Entkommener zu dir kommen, um es deine Ohren vernehmen zu lassen.27An jenem Tag wird dein Mund geöffnet werden vor dem Entkommenen, und du wirst reden und nicht mehr stumm sein. 1Again in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,2Son of man, write thee the name of the day, even of this same day: the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day.3And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Set on a pot, set it on, and also pour water into it:4Gather the pieces thereof into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones.5Take the choice of the flock, and burn also the bones under it, and make it boil well, and let them seethe the bones of it therein.6Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum is therein, and whose scum is not gone out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it.7For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the top of a rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it with dust;8That it might cause fury to come up to take vengeance; I have set her blood upon the top of a rock, that it should not be covered.9Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city!
