6 Der Himmel wird deine Wunder preisen, HERR, ja, deine Treue in der Versammlung der Heiligen. 7 Denn wer in den Wolken ist mit dem HERRN zu vergleichen? Wer ist dem HERRN gleich unter den Göttersöhnen? (Ps 29,1; Ps 86,8; Offb 13,4) 8 Gott ist gefürchtet im Kreis der Heiligen, groß ist er und furchtbar über alle, die rings um ihn her sind. (5Mo 7,21) 9 HERR, Gott der Heerscharen! Wer ist stark wie du, Jah? Deine Treue ist rings um dich her. (Ps 113,5; Jes 11,5; Jer 32,18) 10 Du beherrschst des Meeres Toben^[2], erheben sich seine Wogen – du stillst sie. (Ps 65,8) 11 Du hast Rahab^[3] zertreten wie einen Erschlagenen. I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. 2 For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens. 3 I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant, 4 Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Où sont les grâces d’autrefois ?

(1Kön 5,11; 1Chr 6,16; 1Chr 15,16) 2 Je veux chanter à jamais ╵les bontés de l’Eternel et proclamer d’âge en âge ╵sa fidélité. 3 En effet, je peux le dire: ╵ta bonté est établie ╵pour l’éternité. Dans les cieux tu as ancré ╵ta fidélité. 4 Tu as déclaré: ╵« J’ai contracté une alliance ╵avec mon élu; à David, mon serviteur, ╵j’ai fait un serment: 5 J’affermis ta descendance ╵pour l’éternité, et j’établirai ton trône ╵aux siècles des siècles^[3]. » Pause (2Sam 7,12; 1Chr 17,11; Ps 132,11) 6 O Eternel, les cieux chantent ╵tes prodiges. Tu ne l’as pas soutenu ╵pendant le combat. 45 Tu as éteint sa splendeur, jeté bas son trône, 46 tu as abrégé ╵sa jeunesse, et tu l’as couvert de honte.
