(Ps 18,7)3Er hat mich heraufgeholt aus der Grube des Verderbens[1], aus Schlick ⟨und⟩ Schlamm; und er hat meine Füße auf Felsen gestellt, meine Schritte fest gemacht. (Ps 27,5; Ps 37,23; Ps 55,24; Ps 69,3; Ps 119,133)4Und in meinen Mund hat er ein neues Lied gelegt, einen Lobgesang auf unseren Gott. Viele werden es sehen und sich fürchten und auf den HERRN vertrauen. (Ps 33,3; Ps 71,6)5Glücklich der Mann, der den HERRN zu seiner Zuversicht macht und sich nicht wendet zu den Drängern[2] und den in Lüge Festgefahrenen! (Ps 73,28)6Vielfach hast du, HERR, mein Gott, deine Wundertaten und deine Pläne an uns vollbracht; nichts ist mit dir zu vergleichen. Wollte ich davon berichten und reden – sie sind zu zahlreich, um sie aufzuzählen. (Hi 5,9; Ps 71,15; Ps 139,17)7An Schlacht- und Speisopfern hattest du kein Gefallen, Ohren hast du mir gegraben; Brand- und Sündopfer hast du nicht gefordert. 1To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.2He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.3And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it , and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.4Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.5Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them , they are more than can be numbered.6Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.7Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,8I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.9I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest.10I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.11Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.12For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.13Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.14Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.15Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.16Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.17But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.

Il m’a remis debout, ╵les pieds sur un rocher, et il a affermi mes pas.4Il a mis dans ma bouche ╵un cantique nouveau, et la louange ╵pour notre Dieu. Quand ils verront ce qu’il a fait, ╵ils seront nombreux à le craindre et à mettre leur confiance en l’Eternel.5Bienheureux l’homme ╵qui fait confiance à l’Eternel et ne se tourne pas ╵vers les gens orgueilleux et enclins au mensonge[1].6O Eternel mon Dieu, toi, tu as accompli ╵tant d’œuvres merveilleuses, et combien de projets ╵tu as formés pour nous! Nul n’est semblable à toi. Je voudrais publier, ╵redire tes merveilles, mais leur nombre est trop grand.7Tu n’as voulu ╵ni offrande ni sacrifice. Tu m’as ouvert l’oreille, car tu n’as demandé ╵ni holocaustes ╵ni sacrifices ╵pour le péché[2]. (Hebr 10,5)8Alors j’ai dit: Voici, je viens, dans le rouleau du livre, ╵il est question de moi[3].9Je prends plaisir à faire ╵ta volonté, mon Dieu, et ta Loi est gravée ╵tout au fond de mon cœur.10Dans la grande assemblée, ╵j’annonce la bonne nouvelle ╵de ta justice[4]. Qu’ils battent en retraite, ╵qu’ils soient déshonorés, ceux qui désirent mon malheur!16Qu’ils dépérissent ╵sous le poids de la honte, ceux qui ricanent ╵à mon sujet.17Mais que tous ceux qui se tournent vers toi soient débordants de joie, ╵oui, qu’en toi ils se réjouissent. Et que tous ceux qui aiment ton salut redisent constamment: ╵« Que l’Eternel est grand! »18Moi, je suis pauvre et malheureux, mais le Seigneur prend soin de moi. Toi qui es mon secours ╵et mon libérateur, mon Dieu, ne tarde pas!
