(Ps 38,5; Mi 7,18)5Glücklich, den du erwählst und nahen lässt, dass er wohne in deinen Vorhöfen! Wir werden gesättigt werden mit dem Gut deines Hauses, dem Heiligen deines Tempels. (Ps 36,9; Ps 84,5)6Du wirst uns furchtbare Dinge in Gerechtigkeit antworten, Gott unseres Heils[4], du Zuversicht aller Enden der Erde und des fernen Meeres, (Jes 12,2; Jes 45,22; Jes 63,1)7der die Berge festigt durch seine Kraft, umgürtet ist mit Macht, (Ps 93,1; Jer 10,12)8der das Brausen der Meere besänftigt, das Brausen ihrer Wellen und das Getümmel der Völker. (Ps 89,10; Ps 107,29; Jes 17,13; Mt 8,26)9Und so fürchten sich die Bewohner der Enden ⟨der Erde⟩ vor deinen Zeichen; die Aufgänge des Morgens und des Abends lässt du jauchzen[5]. (Dan 4,2; Mal 1,11)10Du hast das Land heimgesucht und es überschüttet, du bereicherst es sehr: Gottes Bach ist voll Wasser. Du bereitest ihnen Getreide, wenn du ⟨das Land⟩ so bereitest:11Du tränkst seine Furchen, ebnest seine Schollen, du erweichst es mit Regengüssen, segnest sein Gewächs. You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy.9You visit the earth and water it;[2] you greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; you provide their grain, for so you have prepared it.
