Gute Botschaft vom zukünftigen Heil

1 Der Geist des Herrn, HERRN, ist auf mir; denn der HERR hat mich gesalbt. Er hat mich gesandt, den Elenden^[1] frohe Botschaft zu bringen, zu verbinden, die gebrochenen Herzens sind, Freilassung auszurufen den Gefangenen und Öffnung des Kerkers den Gebundenen^[2], (2Mo 28,41; Ps 68,7; Ps 147,3; Jes 42,1; Jes 42,7; Jes 48,16; Jes 52,7; Jes 57,15; Mt 3,16; Mt 11,5; Mt 12,18; Apg 4,27)

3 den Trauernden Zions ⟨Frieden⟩, ihnen Kopfschmuck^[4] statt Asche zu geben, Freudenöl statt Trauer, ein Ruhmesgewand statt eines verzagten Geistes, damit sie Terebinthen der Gerechtigkeit genannt werden, eine Pflanzung des HERRN, dass er sich ⟨durch sie⟩ verherrlicht. (Ps 30,12; Jes 60,21; Joh 16,20) 4 Sie werden die uralten Trümmerstätten aufbauen, das früher Verödete^[5] wieder aufrichten. Und sie werden die verwüsteten Städte erneuern, was verödet lag von Generation zu Generation. (Esr 9,9; Neh 3,34; Jes 49,8; Jes 58,12)

5 Dann werden Fremde dastehen und eure Schafherden weiden, und Ausländer^[6] werden eure Bauern und eure Weingärtner sein. (Jes 14,2; Jes 60,10) 6 Ihr aber, ihr werdet Priester des HERRN genannt werden; Diener unseres Gottes wird man zu euch sagen. 7 Weil ihre Schande doppelt war und sie Schmach besaßen als ihr ⟨Erb⟩teil^[8], darum werden sie in ihrem Land das Doppelte besitzen; ewige Freude wird ihnen ⟨zuteil⟩. 9 Und ihre Nachkommen werden bekannt werden unter den Nationen und ihre Sprösslinge inmitten der Völker. Alle, die sie sehen, werden erkennen, dass sie Nachkommen sind, die der HERR gesegnet hat. (4Mo 22,12; Jes 65,23; Mal 3,12) 10 Freuen, ja, freuen will ich mich in dem HERRN! Jubeln soll meine Seele in meinem Gott! Denn er hat mich bekleidet mit Kleidern des Heils^[11], den Mantel der Gerechtigkeit mir umgetan, wie der Bräutigam sich nach Priesterart^[12] mit dem Kopfschmuck und wie die Braut sich mit ihrem Geschmeide schmückt. The Year of the Lord’s Favor

1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor;^[1] he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;^[2] (Ps 45,7; Ps 146,7; Jes 11,2; Jes 42,1; Jes 45,13; Jes 48,16; Lk 4,18)

2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; (3Mo 25,10; Jes 34,8) 3 to grant to those who mourn in Zion— to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.^[3] (Ps 45,7; Jes 28,5; Jes 60,21; Jes 61,10; Joh 15,8; Hebr 1,9)
