Erste Rede des Bildad: Gottes Gerechtigkeit in Strafe und Güte – Untergang der Gottlosen – Segen durch Buße
1Und Bildad von Schuach antwortete und sagte: (Hi 2,11; Hi 18,1; Hi 25,1)2Wie lange willst du noch so ⟨etwas⟩ künden, und ⟨wie lange⟩ sollen die Worte deines Mundes heftiger Wind sein? (Hi 15,2; Hi 16,3)3Wird Gott ⟨etwa⟩ das Recht beugen, oder wird der Allmächtige die Gerechtigkeit beugen? (2Chr 19,7; Hi 19,6; Hi 34,5; Hi 37,23; Ps 92,16; Röm 9,14)4Haben deine Söhne gegen ihn gesündigt, so lieferte er sie ihrer Übertretung aus[1]. (Hes 18,4)5Wenn du Gott eifrig suchst und zum Allmächtigen um Gnade flehst[2], (Hi 5,8)6wenn du lauter und aufrichtig bist, ja, dann wird er deinetwegen aufwachen und die Wohnung deiner Gerechtigkeit wiederherstellen. (Hi 11,14; Hi 22,23; Ps 18,25; Spr 3,33)7Und dein Anfang wird gering ⟨erscheinen⟩, aber dein Ende wird er sehr groß machen[3]. (Hi 5,11; Hi 42,10)8Denn befrage doch die vorige Generation und habe acht[4] auf das, was ihre Väter erforscht haben! – (5Mo 4,32; 5Mo 32,7; Hi 15,18)9Denn wir sind von gestern und erkennen nichts, denn ein Schatten sind unsere Tage auf der Erde. – (1Chr 29,15; Hi 14,1; Ps 82,5; Ps 102,12; Ps 144,4)10Werden diese dich nicht belehren, es dir sagen und Worte aus ihrem Herzen hervorbringen?11Schießt Schilfrohr auf, wo kein Sumpf ist? Wächst Riedgras empor ohne Wasser?12Noch treibt es Knospen, noch ist es nicht zum Schneiden reif[5], da verdorrt es ⟨schon⟩ vor allem anderen Gras. (Jes 19,6)13So sind die Pfade[6] aller, die Gott vergessen; und des Ruchlosen Hoffnung geht zugrunde. (Hi 11,20; Hi 27,8; Ps 1,4; Ps 112,10; Spr 10,28)14Seine Zuversicht ist ein dünner Faden[7], und ein Spinngewebe ist das, worauf er vertraut.15Er stützt sich auf sein Haus, aber es hält nicht stand; er hält sich daran fest, aber es bleibt nicht stehen. (Spr 14,11; Sach 5,4)16Voll Saft steht er in der Sonne, und seine Triebe ranken sich[8] durch seinen Garten,17über Steinhaufen schlingen sich seine Wurzeln, zwischen Steinen lebt er[9].18Reißt man ihn aus von seiner Stelle, so verleugnet sie ihn: Ich habe dich nie gesehen! (Hi 7,8; Ps 37,36)19Siehe, das ist die Freude seines Weges[10]; und aus dem Staub sprosst ein anderer hervor[11].20Siehe, Gott wird den Rechtschaffenen[12] nicht verwerfen und die Übeltäter nicht an die Hand nehmen. (Ps 34,17; Spr 10,9)21Während er deinen Mund mit Lachen füllen wird und deine Lippen mit Jubel, (Ps 126,2)22werden die, die dich hassen, mit Schande bekleidet werden, und das Zelt der Gottlosen wird nicht mehr sein. (Ps 6,11; Spr 14,11; Sach 5,4)
1Then Bildad the Shuhite answered and said: (Hi 2,11)2“How long will you say these things, and the words of your mouth be a great wind? (1Kön 19,11; Hi 15,2)3Does God pervert justice? Or does the Almighty pervert the right? (1Mo 18,25; 5Mo 32,4; 2Chr 19,7; Esr 9,15; Hi 34,12; Dan 9,14; Röm 3,5)4If your children have sinned against him, he has delivered them into the hand of their transgression. (Hi 1,5; Hi 1,18)5If you will seek God and plead with the Almighty for mercy, (Hi 9,15)6if you are pure and upright, surely then he will rouse himself for you and restore your rightful habitation. (Ps 7,6; Spr 3,33)7And though your beginning was small, your latter days will be very great. (Hi 42,12; Jak 5,11)8“For inquire, please, of bygone ages, and consider what the fathers have searched out. (5Mo 4,32; 5Mo 32,7; Hi 15,18)9For we are but of yesterday and know nothing, for our days on earth are a shadow. (1Chr 29,15; Hi 14,2; Hi 17,7; Ps 102,11; Ps 109,23; Ps 144,4; Pred 6,12)10Will they not teach you and tell you and utter words out of their understanding?11“Can papyrus grow where there is no marsh? Can reeds flourish where there is no water?12While yet in flower and not cut down, they wither before any other plant. (Ps 37,2; Ps 129,6)13Such are the paths of all who forget God; the hope of the godless shall perish. (Hi 13,16; Hi 15,34; Hi 27,8; Ps 9,17; Spr 10,28; Spr 11,7)14His confidence is severed, and his trust is a spider’s web.[1] (Jes 59,5)15He leans against his house, but it does not stand; he lays hold of it, but it does not endure. (Hi 27,18)16He is a lush plant before the sun, and his shoots spread over his garden. (Ps 80,11)17His roots entwine the stone heap; he looks upon a house of stones.18If he is destroyed from his place, then it will deny him, saying, ‘I have never seen you.’ (Hi 7,8; Hi 7,10)19Behold, this is the joy of his way, and out of the soil others will spring. (1Sam 2,7; Ps 103,16; Ps 113,7)20“Behold, God will not reject a blameless man, nor take the hand of evildoers.21He will yet fill your mouth with laughter, and your lips with shouting. (Ps 126,2)22Those who hate you will be clothed with shame, and the tent of the wicked will be no more.” (Ps 35,26; Ps 109,29; Ps 132,18)
