1 Von David. Preise den HERRN, meine Seele, und all mein Inneres seinen heiligen Namen! (Ps 103,1; Ps 145,10; Ps 148,1)

1 Of David. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! (Ps 103,22; Ps 104,1)2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, (5Mo 6,12; 5Mo 8,11; Ps 103,1)3 who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, (2Mo 15,26; 2Mo 34,7; Ps 107,20; Ps 147,3; Jes 33,24; Mt 8,17; Mt 9,2; Mk 2,5; Lk 7,47)4 who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, (Ps 5,12; Ps 56,13)5 who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. (Ps 107,9; Jes 40,31)6 The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed. (Ps 146,7)7 He made known his ways to Moses, his acts to the people of Israel. (2Mo 33,13; 2Mo 34,10; Ps 25,4; Ps 78,11)8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. (Ps 86,15)9 He will not always chide, nor will he keep his anger forever. (Ps 30,5; Jes 57,16; Jer 3,5; Jer 3,12; Mi 7,18)10 He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities. (Esr 9,13)11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; (Ps 36,5; Ps 103,13; Ps 103,17; Ps 117,2; Lk 1,50)12 as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us. (Jes 38,17; Jes 43,25; Mi 7,19)13 As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him. (Ps 103,11; Mal 3,17)14 For he knows our frame;[1] he remembers that we are dust. (Ps 78,39)15 As for man, his days are like grass; he flourishes like a flower of the field; (Hi 14,2; Ps 90,5)16 for the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place knows it no more. (Hi 7,10; Ps 37,36; Jes 40,7)17 But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him, and his righteousness to children’s children, (2Mo 20,5; Ps 25,6; Ps 103,11)18 to those who keep his covenant and remember to do his commandments. (5Mo 7,9; Ps 19,8)19 The Lord has established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all. (Ps 11,4; Ps 47,2; Ps 93,2; Dan 4,17)20 Bless the Lord, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do his word, obeying the voice of his word! (Ps 78,25; Ps 148,2; Mt 6,10; Lk 2,13)21 Bless the Lord, all his hosts, his ministers, who do his will! (1Mo 32,2; Jos 5,14; 1Kön 22,19; Ps 104,4; Dan 7,10; Hebr 1,14)22 Bless the Lord, all his works, in all places of his dominion. Bless the Lord, O my soul! (Ps 103,1; Ps 145,10)

Psalm 103

New International Version

von Biblica
1 Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.2 Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits –3 who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,4 who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,5 who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.6 The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.7 He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel:8 the Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.9 He will not always accuse, nor will he harbour his anger for ever;10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him;12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.13 As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;14 for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.15 The life of mortals is like grass, they flourish like a flower of the field;16 the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more.17 But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children –18 with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.19 The Lord has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.20 Praise the Lord, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word.21 Praise the Lord, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will.22 Praise the Lord, all his works everywhere in his dominion. Praise the Lord, my soul.

Psalm 103

New International Reader’s Version

von Biblica
1 I will praise the LORD. Deep down inside me, I will praise him. I will praise him, because his name is holy.2 I will praise the LORD. I won’t forget anything he does for me.3 He forgives all my sins. He heals all my diseases.4 He saves my life from going down into the grave. His faithful and tender love makes me feel like a king.5 He satisfies me with the good things I desire. Then I feel young and strong again, just like an eagle.6 The LORD does what is right and fair for all who are treated badly.7 He told Moses all about his plans. He let the people of Israel see his mighty acts.8 The LORD is tender and kind. He is gracious. He is slow to get angry. He is full of love.9 He won’t keep bringing charges against us. He won’t stay angry with us for ever.10 He doesn’t punish us for our sins as much as we should be punished. He doesn’t pay us back in keeping with the evil things we’ve done.11 He loves those who have respect for him. His love is as high as the heavens are above the earth.12 He has removed our sins from us. He has removed them as far as the east is from the west.13 A father is tender and kind to his children. In the same way, the LORD is tender and kind to those who have respect for him.14 He knows what we are made of. He remembers that we are dust.15 The life of human beings is like grass. People grow like the flowers in the field.16 When the wind blows on them, they are gone. No one can tell that they had ever been there.17 But the LORD’s love for those who have respect for him lasts for ever and ever. Their children’s children will know that he always does what is right.18 He always loves those who keep his covenant. He always does what is right for those who remember to obey his commands.19 The LORD has set up his throne in heaven. His kingdom rules over all.20 Praise the LORD, you angels of his. Praise him, you mighty ones who carry out his orders and obey his word.21 Praise the LORD, all you angels in heaven. Praise him, all you who serve him and do what he wants.22 Let everything the LORD has made praise him everywhere in his kingdom. I will praise the LORD.

Psalm 103

King James Version

1 A Psalm of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle'.6 The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children' children;18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.19 The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.21 Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.22 Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.
