Offenbarung 20

Elberfelder Bibel

(Mt 25,41; Offb 3,5; Offb 19,20)

Offenbarung 20

English Standard Version

von Crossway
1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit[1] and a great chain. (Offb 1,18; Offb 9,1)2 And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, (2Petr 2,4; Jud 1,6; Offb 12,9)3 and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while. (Dan 6,17; Mt 27,66; Offb 20,1; Offb 20,8; Offb 20,10)4 Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. (Ps 45,16; Dan 7,9; Dan 7,18; Dan 7,22; Mt 19,28; Mt 20,21; Mt 20,27; Joh 14,19; 2Tim 2,11; 2Tim 2,12; Offb 3,21; Offb 5,10; Offb 6,9; Offb 13,12; Offb 13,14; Offb 20,6; Offb 22,5)5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection.6 Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years. (Offb 1,6; Offb 2,11; Offb 14,13; Offb 20,4; Offb 20,14; Offb 21,8)7 And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison (Offb 20,2)8 and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. (Hes 38,2; Hes 39,1; Offb 16,14; Offb 20,3; Offb 20,10)9 And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven[2] and consumed them, (Ps 132,13; Jes 8,8; Hes 38,9; Hes 38,16; Hab 1,6; Hebr 13,11; Hebr 13,13; Offb 13,13)10 and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. (Offb 16,13; Offb 19,20; Offb 20,3; Offb 20,8)11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. (Ps 102,26; Dan 2,35; Offb 12,8)12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. (Dan 7,10; Mt 16,27; Röm 14,10; 2Kor 5,10; Offb 3,5; Offb 11,18)13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. (Offb 6,8; Offb 20,12)14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. (Lk 20,36; 1Kor 15,26; Offb 20,6; Offb 20,13; Offb 21,4)15 And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. (Mt 13,42; Mt 13,50)

Offenbarung 20

King James Version

1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Offenbarung 20

Nuova Riveduta 2006
