Macht Musik für seinen Namen, denn er ist freundlich!4Denn JAH hat sich den Stamm Jakob erwählt, Israel als sein Eigentum.5Ja, das habe ich erfahren: Gewaltig ist der HERR, er, unser Herr, ist größer als alle Götter.6Was immer er sich vornimmt, das tut der HERR, im Himmel und auf der Erde, in den Meeren und allen Meerestiefen.7Er ist es, der die Wolken heraufziehen lässt von den Enden der Erde, er erschafft die Blitze zusammen mit dem Regen und holt den Sturm aus seinen Vorratskammern hervor.8Er war es, der die Erstgeborenen in Ägypten umkommen ließ, die Menschen genauso wie die Tiere.9Er ließ Zeichen und Wunder geschehen in deiner Mitte, du Land Ägypten, vor Pharao und all seinen Dienern!10Er ist es, der viele Völker besiegte und mächtige Könige schlug:11Sihon, den König der Amoriter, und Og, den König von Baschan, und alle Königreiche von Kanaan.12Deren Land gab er zum Erbbesitz, zum Eigentum für Israel, sein Volk.13Der HERR, dein Name bleibt in Ewigkeit. HERR, von Generation zu Generation wirst du gelobt!14Ja, der HERR schafft seinem Volk Recht und nimmt Anteil am Ergehen seiner Diener.15Die Götterbilder der Völker sind aus Silber und Gold, Machwerke sind es von menschlicher Hand.16Sie haben einen Mund, und doch sprechen sie nicht, Augen haben sie, und doch sehen sie nicht.17Ohren haben sie, und doch hören sie nicht, wirklich, kein Lebensatem ist in ihnen!18Die sie erschaffen, werden ihnen gleich, alle, die auf sie vertrauen.19Ihr vom Haus Israel, preist den HERRN! Ihr vom Haus Aarons, preist den HERRN!20Ihr vom Haus Levi, preist den HERRN!
