Ein Danklied für Gottes Sieg

1 Dankt dem HERRN, denn er ist gut! Ja, in Ewigkeit besteht seine Güte. 2 Sagen soll auch Israel: Ja, in Ewigkeit besteht seine Güte! 3 So soll auch die Familie Aarons sagen: Ja, in Ewigkeit besteht seine Güte! 4 So sollen die sagen, die dem HERRN mit Ehrfurcht begegnen: Ja, in Ewigkeit besteht seine Güte! 5 Aus der Not rief ich zu JAH und er antwortete, und JAH gab mir weiten Raum. 6 Der HERR ist für mich, so fürchte ich mich nicht. Was kann ein Mensch mir schon antun? 7 Der HERR ist für mich, er kommt mir zu Hilfe. So kann ich auf die herabsehen, die mich hassen. 8 Es ist besser, auf den HERRN zu vertrauen, als sich auf Menschen zu verlassen. 9 Es ist besser, auf den HERRN zu vertrauen, als sein Vertrauen auf die Vornehmen zu setzen. 10 Alle Völker haben mich umzingelt, doch im Namen des HERRN konnte ich sie in die Flucht schlagen. 11 Ja, sie haben mich eingekreist, doch im Namen des HERRN konnte ich sie in die Flucht schlagen. 12 Sie haben mich umringt wie Bienen, doch sie verloschen wie ein Strohfeuer im Dornengestrüpp, im Namen des HERRN konnte ich sie in die Flucht schlagen. 13 Sie haben mich hart gestoßen, ich sollte zu Fall kommen, doch der HERR hat mir geholfen. 14 Meine Stärke ist JAH, ihm gilt mein Lied, er ist für mich zum Retter geworden. 15 Lauter Jubel und Siegeslieder erklingen in den Zelten derer, die gerecht leben: »Die rechte Hand des HERRN wirkt mit Macht!« 16 Die rechte Hand des HERRN ist erhoben, die rechte Hand des HERRN wirkt mit Macht! 17 Ich werde nicht sterben, sondern ich werde leben und die Taten JAHs weitererzählen. 18 Hart hat JAH mich zurechtgewiesen, doch er hat mich nicht dem Tod überlassen. 19 Öffnet mir die Tore der Gerechtigkeit! Ich will durch sie hindurch eintreten und JAH danken. 20 Dies ist das Tor in die Gegenwart des HERRN: Die gerecht leben, treten hier ein. 21 Ich will dir danken, denn du hast mir geantwortet und bist mir zum Retter geworden. 22 Der Stein, den die Bauleute weggeworfen hatten, der wurde zum Grundstein! 23 Das hat der HERR bewirkt, wie ein Wunder erscheint es uns! 24 Dies ist der Tag, den der HERR bestimmt hat, lasst uns heute jubeln und fröhlich sein! 25 Bitte, HERR, bring doch die Rettung! HERR, lass es doch gelingen! 26 Gesegnet ist der, der kommt im Namen des HERRN, wir segnen euch vom Haus des HERRN. 27 Gott ist der HERR, ja er lässt es leuchten über uns. Tanzt einen Rundtanz mit Zweigen bis hin zu den Ecken am Altar! 28 Mein Gott bist du und ich will dir danken, mein Gott, ich will dich erheben! 29 Dankt dem HERRN, denn er ist gut! Und in Ewigkeit besteht seine Güte.
