1 （ 所 罗 门 上 行 之 诗 。 ） 若 不 是 耶 和 华 建 造 房 屋 ， 建 造 的 人 就 枉 然 劳 力 ； 若 不 是 耶 和 华 看 守 城 池 ， 看 守 的 人 就 枉 然 警 醒 。 2 你 们 清 晨 早 起 ， 夜 晚 安 歇 ， 吃 劳 碌 得 来 的 饭 ， 本 是 枉 然 ； 惟 有 耶 和 华 所 亲 爱 的 ， 必 叫 他 安 然 睡 觉 。 3 儿 女 是 耶 和 华 所 赐 的 产 业 ； 所 怀 的 胎 是 他 所 给 的 赏 赐 。 4 少 年 时 所 生 的 儿 女 好 像 勇 士 手 中 的 箭 。 5 箭 袋 充 满 的 人 便 为 有 福 ； 他 们 在 城 门 口 和 仇 敌 说 话 的 时 候 ， 必 不 至 於 羞 愧 。

1 Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. (诗121:4) 2 It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep. (创3:17; 创3:19; 诗60:5; 可4:26; 可4:27) 3 Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. (创33:5; 申28:4; 诗132:11) 4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children[1] of one’s youth. (诗120:4) 5 Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.[2] (伯5:4)
