1 犹 大 王 西 底 家 第 九 年 十 月 ， 巴 比 伦 王 尼 布 甲 尼 撒 率 领 全 军 来 围 困 耶 路 撒 冷 。 2 西 底 家 十 一 年 四 月 初 九 日 ， 城 被 攻 破 。 3 耶 路 撒 冷 被 攻 取 的 时 候 ， 巴 比 伦 王 的 首 领 尼 甲 ． 沙 利 薛 、 三 甲 ． 尼 波 、 撒 西 金 ─ 拉 撒 力 、 尼 甲 ． 沙 利 薛 ─ 拉 墨 ， 并 巴 比 伦 王 其 馀 的 一 切 首 领 都 来 坐 在 中 门 。 4 犹 大 王 西 底 家 和 一 切 兵 丁 看 见 他 们 ， 就 在 夜 间 从 靠 近 王 园 两 城 中 间 的 门 出 城 逃 跑 ， 往 亚 拉 巴 逃 去 。 5 迦 勒 底 的 军 队 追 赶 他 们 ， 在 耶 利 哥 的 平 原 追 上 西 底 家 ， 将 他 拿 住 ， 带 到 哈 马 地 的 利 比 拉 、 巴 比 伦 王 尼 布 甲 尼 撒 那 里 ； 尼 布 甲 尼 撒 就 审 判 他 。 6 巴 比 伦 王 在 利 比 拉 、 西 底 家 眼 前 杀 了 他 的 众 子 ， 又 杀 了 犹 大 的 一 切 贵 胄 ， 7 并 且 剜 西 底 家 的 眼 睛 ， 用 铜 炼 锁 着 他 ， 要 带 到 巴 比 伦 去 。 8 迦 勒 底 人 用 火 焚 烧 王 宫 和 百 姓 的 房 屋 ， 又 拆 毁 耶 路 撒 冷 的 城 墙 。 9 那 时 ， 护 卫 长 尼 布 撒 拉 旦 将 城 里 所 剩 下 的 百 姓 和 投 降 他 的 逃 民 ， 以 及 其 馀 的 民 都 掳 到 巴 比 伦 去 了 。 10 护 卫 长 尼 布 撒 拉 旦 却 将 民 中 毫 无 所 有 的 穷 人 留 在 犹 大 地 ， 当 时 给 他 们 葡 萄 园 和 田 地 。 11 巴 比 伦 王 尼 布 甲 尼 撒 提 到 耶 利 米 ， 嘱 咐 护 卫 长 尼 布 撒 拉 旦 说 ： 12 你 领 他 去 ， 好 好 地 看 待 他 ， 切 不 可 害 他 ； 他 对 你 怎 麽 说 ， 你 就 向 他 怎 麽 行 。 13 护 卫 长 尼 布 撒 拉 旦 和 尼 布 沙 斯 班 ─ 拉 撒 力 、 尼 甲 ． 沙 利 薛 ─ 拉 墨 ， 并 巴 比 伦 王 的 一 切 官 长 ， 14 打 发 人 去 ， 将 耶 利 米 从 护 卫 兵 院 中 提 出 来 ， 交 与 沙 番 的 孙 子 亚 希 甘 的 儿 子 基 大 利 ， 带 回 家 去 。 於 是 耶 利 米 住 在 民 中 。 15 耶 利 米 还 囚 在 护 卫 兵 院 中 的 时 候 ， 耶 和 华 的 话 临 到 他 说 ： 16 你 去 告 诉 古 实 人 以 伯 ． 米 勒 说 ， 万 军 之 耶 和 华 ─ 以 色 列 的 　 神 如 此 说 ： 我 说 降 祸 不 降 福 的 话 必 临 到 这 城 ， 到 那 时 必 在 你 面 前 成 就 了 。 17 耶 和 华 说 ： 到 那 日 我 必 拯 救 你 ， 你 必 不 致 交 在 你 所 怕 的 人 手 中 。 18 我 定 要 搭 救 你 ， 你 不 致 倒 在 刀 下 ， 却 要 以 自 己 的 命 为 掠 物 ， 因 你 倚 靠 我 。 这 是 耶 和 华 说 的 。

1 In the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army came against Jerusalem and besieged it. (王下25:1; 耶52:4) 2 In the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, on the ninth day of the month, a breach was made in the city. 3 Then all the officials of the king of Babylon came and sat in the middle gate: Nergal-sar-ezer of Samgar, Nebu-sar-sekim the Rab-saris, Nergal-sar-ezer the Rab-mag, with all the rest of the officers of the king of Babylon. (王下18:17; 耶1:15; 耶38:17; 耶38:22; 耶39:13) 4 When Zedekiah king of Judah and all the soldiers saw them, they fled, going out of the city at night by way of the king’s garden through the gate between the two walls; and they went toward the Arabah. (申1:1) 5 But the army of the Chaldeans pursued them and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho. And when they had taken him, they brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, at Riblah, in the land of Hamath; and he passed sentence on him. (书5:10; 王下23:33; 结17:15) 6 The king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah at Riblah before his eyes, and the king of Babylon slaughtered all the nobles of Judah. (耶39:5; 耶52:10) 7 He put out the eyes of Zedekiah and bound him in chains to take him to Babylon. (耶32:4; 结12:13) 8 The Chaldeans burned the king’s house and the house of the people, and broke down the walls of Jerusalem. (尼1:3; 诗80:12; 赛5:5; 耶21:10) 9 Then Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, carried into exile to Babylon the rest of the people who were left in the city, those who had deserted to him, and the people who remained. (创37:36; 王下25:8; 耶37:13; 耶40:1; 耶52:12) 10 Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, left in the land of Judah some of the poor people who owned nothing, and gave them vineyards and fields at the same time. (王下25:12; 耶40:7) 11 Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon gave command concerning Jeremiah through Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, saying, 12 “Take him, look after him well, and do him no harm, but deal with him as he tells you.” (耶40:4) 13 So Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, Nebushazban the Rab-saris, Nergal-sar-ezer the Rab-mag, and all the chief officers of the king of Babylon (耶39:3) 14 sent and took Jeremiah from the court of the guard. They entrusted him to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan, that he should take him home. So he lived among the people. (王下22:3; 王下22:12; 王下25:22; 耶32:2; 耶37:12; 耶38:28; 耶40:5; 耶40:11; 耶41:1; 耶41:6; 耶43:6) 15 The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah while he was shut up in the court of the guard: (耶36:5; 耶38:13) 16 “Go, and say to Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will fulfill my words against this city for harm and not for good, and they shall be accomplished before you on that day. (耶14:11; 耶21:10; 耶38:7; 但9:12) 17 But I will deliver you on that day, declares the Lord, and you shall not be given into the hand of the men of whom you are afraid. (耶22:25) 18 For I will surely save you, and you shall not fall by the sword, but you shall have your life as a prize of war, because you have put your trust in me, declares the Lord.’” (诗25:2; 诗37:40; 耶21:9; 耶45:5)
