2 Mojžíš povolal Besaleela s Oholíabem a všechny dovedné, jež Hospodin obdařil moudrostí, všechny, jež srdce pudilo, aby přistoupili k práci na tom díle.3 Převzali od Mojžíše každou oběť pozdvihování, kterou Izraelci přinesli, aby bylo zhotoveno dílo pro službu ve svatyni. Lid mu přinášel i dále každé ráno dobrovolné dary.4 Všichni moudří, konající veškeré dílo pro svatyni, přicházeli jeden za druhým od práce, kterou konali,5 a říkali Mojžíšovi: „Lid přináší víc, než je třeba k provedení díla, které Hospodin přikázal vykonat.“6 Mojžíš tedy přikázal a jeho vzkaz roznesli po táboře: „Muži a ženy, nechystejte už nic pro oběť pozdvihování ve prospěch svatyně.“ Tak zabránili lidu, aby přinášel další dary.7 Měli dostatek potřeb pro veškeré dílo, které se mělo udělat, a ještě zbývalo. 8 Všichni, kdo byli dovední mezi těmi, kdo na díle pracovali, zhotovili příbytek z desíti pruhů jemně tkaného plátna a látky purpurově fialové, nachové a karmínové; zhotovili je s umně vetkanými cheruby.9 Jeden pruh byl dvacet osm loket dlouhý a čtyři lokte široký. Všechny pruhy měly stejné rozměry.10 Pět pruhů spojil po délce jeden s druhým a druhých pět pruhů spojil právě tak jeden s druhým.11 Z fialového purpuru zhotovil poutka na lemu toho pruhu, který byl na konci spojeného kusu. Stejně to udělal na lemu krajního pruhu druhého spojeného kusu.12 Udělal také padesát poutek na jednom koncovém pruhu a padesát poutek na koncovém pruhu druhého spojeného kusu, vždy jedno proti druhému.13 Zhotovil i padesát zlatých spon a sepnul jimi pruhy jeden s druhým, takže příbytek byl spojen v jeden celek. 14 Zhotovil též houně z kozí srsti pro stan nad příbytkem; těch houní udělal jedenáct.15 Jedna houně byla třicet loket dlouhá a čtyři lokte široká. Všech jedenáct houní mělo stejné rozměry.16 Zvlášť spojil pět houní a zvlášť šest houní.17 Udělal také padesát poutek na lemu houně, která byla na kraji spojeného kusu, a padesát poutek udělal na lemu koncové houně druhého spojeného kusu.18 Zhotovil také padesát bronzových spon a spojil stan v jeden celek.19 Zhotovil pro stan též přikrývku z beraních kůží zbarvených načerveno a navrch přikrývku z tachaších kůží. 20 Pro příbytek zhotovil také desky z akáciového dřeva, aby se daly postavit.21 Každá deska byla deset loket dlouhá a půldruhého lokte široká.22 Každá měla dva čepy a jedna byla připojena k druhé; tak to provedl na všech deskách pro příbytek.23 Zhotovil pro příbytek tyto desky: dvacet desek pro jižní, pravou stranu.24 Těch dvacet desek opatřil dole čtyřiceti stříbrnými patkami, po dvou patkách pod každou desku, k oběma jejím čepům.25 I pro druhý bok příbytku, k severní straně, zhotovil dvacet desek26 a k nim čtyřicet stříbrných patek, po dvou patkách pod každou desku.27 Pro zadní stranu příbytku, k západu, zhotovil šest desek.28 Navíc zhotovil dvě desky pro oba úhly příbytku při zadní straně.29 Zdola byly přiloženy k sobě, navrchu byly těsně spojeny jedním kruhem. Tak učinil s oběma deskami v obou úhlech.30 Bylo tam tedy osm desek se stříbrnými patkami, celkem šestnáct patek, po dvou patkách pod každou deskou. 31 Zhotovil také svlaky z akáciového dřeva, pět pro desky na jednom boku příbytku,32 pět na druhém boku příbytku a dalších pět svlaků pro desky na zadní straně příbytku, k západu.33 Udělal i prostřední svlak, aby probíhal v poloviční výši desek od jednoho konce k druhému.34 Desky potáhl zlatem a zhotovil k nim zlaté kruhy pro vsunutí svlaků; rovněž svlaky potáhl zlatem. 35 Zhotovil také oponu z látky purpurově fialové, nachové a karmínové a z jemně tkaného plátna. Zhotovil ji s umně vetkanými cheruby.36 Udělal pro ni čtyři sloupy z akáciového dřeva a potáhl je zlatem; háčky na nich byly ze zlata; odlil pro ně také čtyři stříbrné patky.37 Ke vchodu do stanu zhotovil pestře vyšitý závěs z látky purpurově fialové, nachové a karmínové a z jemně tkaného plátna.38 K tomu pět sloupů s háčky; jejich hlavice a příčné tyče potáhl zlatem. Jejich pět patek bylo z bronzu.

od Crossway1“Bezalel and Oholiab and every craftsman in whom the Lord has put skill and intelligence to know how to do any work in the construction of the sanctuary shall work in accordance with all that the Lord has commanded.” (Ex 28,3; Ex 31,6; Ex 35,10; Ex 35,25)2And Moses called Bezalel and Oholiab and every craftsman in whose mind the Lord had put skill, everyone whose heart stirred him up to come to do the work. (Ex 25,2)3And they received from Moses all the contribution that the people of Israel had brought for doing the work on the sanctuary. They still kept bringing him freewill offerings every morning, (Ex 35,24; Ex 35,29)4so that all the craftsmen who were doing every sort of task on the sanctuary came, each from the task that he was doing,5and said to Moses, “The people bring much more than enough for doing the work that the Lord has commanded us to do.” (2Pa 31,10; 2K 8,2)6So Moses gave command, and word was proclaimed throughout the camp, “Let no man or woman do anything more for the contribution for the sanctuary.” So the people were restrained from bringing, (Ex 36,3)7for the material they had was sufficient to do all the work, and more.8And all the craftsmen among the workmen made the tabernacle with ten curtains. He did this for all the frames of the tabernacle.23The frames for the tabernacle he made thus: twenty frames for the south side.24And he made forty bases of silver under the twenty frames, two bases under one frame for its two tenons, and two bases under the next frame for its two tenons.25For the second side of the tabernacle, on the north side, he made twenty frames26and their forty bases of silver, two bases under one frame and two bases under the next frame.27For the rear of the tabernacle westward he made six frames.28He made two frames for corners of the tabernacle in the rear.29And they were separate beneath but joined at the top, at the first ring. He made two of them this way for the two corners.30There were eight frames with their bases of silver: sixteen bases, under every frame two bases.31He made bars of acacia wood, five for the frames of the one side of the tabernacle,32and five bars for the frames of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the frames of the tabernacle at the rear westward.33And he made the middle bar to run from end to end halfway up the frames.34And he overlaid the frames with gold, and made their rings of gold for holders for the bars, and overlaid the bars with gold.35He made the veil of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen; with cherubim skillfully worked into it he made it.
