HOSPODINA MILUJI; ON SLYŠÍ

1 Hospodina miluji; on slyší můj hlas, moje prosby, 2 sklonil ke mně ucho. Po všechny své dny chci k němu volat. 3 Ovinuly mě provazy smrti, přepadly mě úzkosti podsvětí; nacházím jen soužení a strasti. 4 Vzývám však Hospodinovo jméno: Hospodine, prosím, zachraň mi život! 5 Hospodin je milostivý, spravedlivý, náš Bůh se slitovává. 6 Hospodin je ochránce nezkušených: byl jsem vyčerpán, a dopřál mi zvítězit. 7 Můžeš opět odpočinout, moje duše, neboť Hospodin se tě zastal. 8 Ubránils mě před smrtí, mé oko před slzami, moje nohy před zvrtnutím. 9 Před Hospodinem smím dále chodit v zemi živých. 10 Uvěřil jsem, proto mluvím; byl jsem velmi pokořený. 11 Ukvapeně jsem si říkal: Každý člověk je lhář. 12 Jak se mám odvděčit Hospodinu, že se mne tolikrát zastal? 13 Zvednu kalich spásy a budu vzývat Hospodinovo jméno. 14 Svoje sliby Hospodinu splním před veškerým jeho lidem. 15 Velkou cenu má v Hospodinových očích oddanost jeho věrných až k smrti. 16 Hospodine, prosím, já jsem tvůj služebník, služebník tvůj, syn tvé služebnice. Ty jsi mi rozvázal pouta. 17 Tobě obětuji oběť díků a budu vzývat Hospodinovo jméno. 18 Svoje sliby Hospodinu splním před veškerým jeho lidem, 19 v nádvořích Hospodinova domu, Jeruzaléme, v tvém středu.
