Las bendiciones del reino

1 Así dice YHVH: Los cielos son mi trono, y la tierra estrado de mis pies: ¿Dónde está la casa que me habréis de edificar, Y dónde el lugar de mi reposo? 2 Mi mano hizo todas estas cosas, Y así todas ellas llegaron a existir, dice YHVH. Pero Yo miraré al pobre y humilde de espíritu, Y que tiembla ante mi palabra. 3 El que inmola un buey, Es como si matara a un hombre; El que sacrifica un cordero, Es como si degollara a un perro; El que trae ofrenda vegetal, Es como si ofreciera sangre de cerdo; El que invoca y ofrece incienso, Es como si bendijera a un ídolo. Todos ellos escogieron su camino, Y su alma se deleita en sus abominaciones; 4 Pues Yo también escogeré sus castigos, Y les enviaré lo que más temen; porque llamé, y nadie respondió; Hablé, y no escucharon; hicieron lo malo ante mis ojos, Y escogieron lo que no me agrada. 5 Oíd la palabra de YHVH, los que tembláis ante su palabra: Dicen vuestros hermanos que os aborrecen, Que os rechazan por causa de mi Nombre: ¡Muestre ahora su gloria YHVH, y veamos vuestro gozo! Pero ellos serán avergonzados. 6 ¡Escuchad! Hay un tumulto en la ciudad. ¡Escuchad! Viene del templo: ¡Escuchad! YHVH da el pago a sus enemigos. 7 ¡Antes que estuviera de parto, dio a luz un hijo! ¡Antes que le vinieran dolores, dio a luz un varón! 8 ¿Quién ha oído cosa semejante? ¿Quién ha visto tales cosas? ¿Se dará a luz a un país en un solo día? ¿Nacerá una nación de una sola vez? Pues apenas sintió los dolores, Sión parió sus hijos. 9 Yo, que abro la matriz, ¿no haré parir?, dice YHVH. Yo, que hago engendrar, ¿la voy a cerrar?, dice tu Dios. 10 ¡Alegraos con Jerusalem, gozaos con ella todos los que la amáis! ¡Rebosad de júbilo con ella, los que por ella llevasteis luto! 11 Porque mamaréis sus pechos y os saciareis de sus consolaciones, Y succionaréis gozosos las ubres de su gloria. 12 Porque así dice YHVH: Yo extiendo sobre ella paz como un río, Y como un torrente en crecida la gloria de las naciones. Mamaréis, seréis llevados en brazos, Y sobre las rodillas os acariciarán; 13 Como a uno que consuela su madre, Así Yo os consolaré; en Jerusalem seréis consolados; 14 Y al verlo, vuestro corazón se regocijará, Y vuestros huesos reverdecerán como la hierba tierna; La mano de YHVH se manifestará a sus siervos, Y su ira sobre sus enemigos. 15 Porque he aquí, YHVH viene en el fuego, Y como el torbellino con sus carros, para convertir su ira en llamas, Y su voz de reprensión en fuego. 16 Pues mediante el fuego YHVH hará justicia, Y mediante su espada respecto a todo mortal, Y serán muchos las víctimas de YHVH. 17 Los que se consagran y purifican para entrar a los huertos, Tras uno que ocupa el centro, los que comen carne de cerdo, reptiles y ratones, A una serán consumidos, dice YHVH, 18 Porque Yo conozco sus obras y sus pensamientos. 19 Y haré una señal entre ellas, y enviaré a los que huyeron de ellas a Tarsis, a Etiopía, a Libia, a Mesec, a Rosh, a Tu-bal y a Javán, a las costas lejanas que no han oído mi fama ni han visto mi gloria, y ellos anunciarán mi gloria entre las naciones. 20 Y como los hijos de Israel traen su ofrenda en utensilios puros a la Casa de YHVH, así de todas las naciones traerán a todos vuestros hermanos, en caballos, en carros y en literas, en mulos y dromedarios hasta mi Santo Monte en Jerusalem, como ofrenda a YHVH, dice YHVH, 21 y entre ellos escogeré sacerdotes y levitas, dice YHVH. 22 Porque así como los nuevos cielos y la nueva tierra que voy a hacer Permanecerán delante de mí, dice YHVH; Así permanecerán vuestro linaje y vuestro nombre. 23 Y sucederá de novilunio en novilunio, Y de shabbat en shabbat, Que toda criatura vendrá para postrarse delante de mí, dice YHVH. 24 Y saldrán, y mirarán los cadáveres de los hombres que se rebelaron contra mí: Su gusano no morirá, ni su fuego se extinguirá, y será el horror de todos los mortales.

1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? 2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. 3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog' neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine' blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. 4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not. 5 Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name' sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed. 6 A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies. 7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. 8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. 9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb ? saith thy God. 10 Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her: 11 That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory. 12 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees. 13 As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem. 14 And when ye see this , your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies. 15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. 16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many. 17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine' flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD. 18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory. 19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles. 20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD. 21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD. 22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. 23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. 24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
