Salmo 30

1 A Psalm of David. A song at the dedication of the temple. I will extol you, O Lord, for you have drawn me up and have not let my foes rejoice over me. (2 S 5:11; 1 Cr 22:1; Sal 13:4; Sal 25:2; Sal 35:19; Sal 35:24; Sal 107:32)2 O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me. (Sal 6:2; Sal 88:13)3 O Lord, you have brought up my soul from Sheol; you restored me to life from among those who go down to the pit.[1] (Sal 16:10; Sal 28:1)4 Sing praises to the Lord, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name.[2] (1 Cr 16:4; Sal 50:5; Sal 97:12)5 For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime.[3] Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning. (Job 33:26; Sal 63:3; Sal 103:9; Sal 126:5; Is 26:20; Is 54:7; 2 Co 4:17)6 As for me, I said in my prosperity, “I shall never be moved.” (Job 29:18; Sal 10:6; Pr 1:32)7 By your favor, O Lord, you made my mountain stand strong; you hid your face; I was dismayed. (Dt 31:17; 2 S 5:9; 2 S 24:10; Sal 104:29)8 To you, O Lord, I cry, and to the Lord I plead for mercy: (Sal 142:1)9 “What profit is there in my death,[4] if I go down to the pit?[5] Will the dust praise you? Will it tell of your faithfulness? (Sal 6:5)10 Hear, O Lord, and be merciful to me! O Lord, be my helper!” (Sal 27:7)11 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, (Ex 15:20; 2 S 6:14; Sal 149:3; Sal 150:4; Jer 31:4; Jer 31:13; Lm 5:15)12 that my glory may sing your praise and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to you forever! (Sal 16:9)
