Cántico gradual.

1 En mi angustia clamé a YHVH, Y Él me respondió. 2 ¡Oh YHVH, libra mi alma de los labios mentirosos, Y de la lengua fraudulenta! 3 ¿Qué se te dará, o qué te aprovechará, Oh lengua engañosa? 4 Agudas saetas de valiente, Forjadas con brasas de enebro. 5 ¡Ay de mí, que estoy desterrado en Mesec, Y habito en las tiendas de Cedar! 6 Mucho tiempo ha morado mi alma Con los que aborrecen la paz. 7 Yo estoy por la paz, y si hablo, ellos están por la guerra.

1 In my distress I called to the LORD, and he answered me. 2 Deliver me, O LORD, from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue. 3 What shall be given to you, and what more shall be done to you, you deceitful tongue?
