1 ¡Alabad, siervos de YHVH, Alabad el nombre de YHVH! 2 ¡Bendito sea el nombre de YHVH Desde ahora y para siempre! 3 Desde el nacimiento del sol hasta su ocaso, Sea alabado el nombre de YHVH. 4 YHVH se eleva sobre todas las naciones, Y sobre los cielos su gloria. 5 ¿Quién como YHVH nuestro Dios, Entronizado en las alturas, 6 Que se rebaja para mirar En los cielos y en la tierra? 7 Que levanta del polvo al pobre, Que saca del basurero al miserable, 8 Para hacerlos sentar con los príncipes, Con los príncipes de su pueblo. 9 Que hace sentar en familia a la estéril, Gozosa en ser madre de hijos. ¡Aleluya!

1 Praise the Lord! Praise, O servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord! (Sal 34:22; Sal 69:36; Sal 102:28; Sal 104:35; Sal 135:1) 2 Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and forevermore! (Job 1:21; Sal 115:18) 3 From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised! (Sal 18:3; Sal 48:10; Sal 50:1; Is 59:19; Mal 1:11) 4 The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens! (Sal 8:1; Sal 57:5; Sal 57:11; Sal 99:2; Sal 148:13) 5 Who is like the Lord our God, who is seated on high, (Sal 35:10) 6 who looks far down on the heavens and the earth? (Sal 11:4; Sal 138:6) 7 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap, (Sal 107:41; Sal 136:23) 8 to make them sit with princes, with the princes of his people. (Job 36:7) 9 He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children. Praise the Lord! (Ex 1:21; 1 S 2:5; Sal 68:6; Sal 113:1; Is 54:1)
