1 Давидов псалм. Отдайте на ГОСПОДА, вие, синове на силите, отдайте на ГОСПОДА слава и могъщество. (1 Лет 16:28; 1 Лет 16:29; Пс 96:7)

2 Отдайте на ГОСПОДА дължимата на името Му слава; поклонете се на ГОСПОДА в свята премяна. (2 Лет 20:21) 3 Гласът ГОСПОДЕН е над водите; Бог на славата гърми; ГОСПОД гърми над големите води, (Йов 37:4; Йов 37:5) 4 гласът ГОСПОДЕН е силен; гласът ГОСПОДЕН е величествен. 5 Гласът ГОСПОДЕН троши кедри. Да! ГОСПОД троши ливанските кедри (Ис 2:13) 6 и ги прави да скачат като теле, Ливан и Сирион – като див вол в младостта си. (Вт 3:9; Пс 114:4)

7 Гласът ГОСПОДЕН разцепва огнени пламъци. 8 Гласът ГОСПОДЕН разтърсва пустинята; ГОСПОД разтърсва пустинята Кадис. (Чис 13:26) 9 Гласът ГОСПОДЕН прави да раждат кошутите и оголва горите; а в храма Му всеки възгласява: Слава! (Йов 39:1) 10 ГОСПОД седна като Цар над Потопа. Да! ГОСПОД седи като Цар до века. (Бит 6:17; Йов 38:8; Йов 38:25; Пс 10:16)

A Psalm of David.

1 Ascribe to the LORD, O heavenly beings,^[1] ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. (1 Лет 16:28; 1 Лет 16:29; Пс 68:34; Пс 96:7; Пс 96:8)

2 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness.^[2] (Изх 28:2; 1 Лет 16:29; Пс 110:3) 3 The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD, over many waters. (Йов 37:4; Йов 37:5; Пс 18:11) 4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. (Пс 68:33) 5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; the LORD breaks the cedars of Lebanon. (Съд 9:15; Пс 104:16) 6 He makes Lebanon to skip like a calf, and Sirion like a young wild ox. (Чис 23:22; Вт 3:9; Пс 114:4; Пс 114:6)

7 The voice of the LORD flashes forth flames of fire. 8 The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness; the LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh. (Чис 13:26) 9 The voice of the LORD makes the deer give birth^[3] and strips the forests bare, and in his temple all cry, “Glory!” (Йов 39:1) 10 The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD sits enthroned as king forever. (Бит 6:17; Пс 10:16) 11 May the LORD give strength to his people! May the LORD bless^[4] his people with peace! (Пс 68:35; Ис 40:29; Фил 4:7)
