(Соф 1:7)7И биволи ще паднат с тях и телета наедно с волове, и земята ще се опие от кръвта им, и прахът им ще затлъстее от тлъстина. (Ис 63:4)9И реките му ще се преобърнат на катран, и прахът му – в сяра, и земята му ще бъде запален катран:10няма да гасне ни денем, нито нощем; и димът и вечно ще възлиза, от рода в род ще остава запустяла; во веки веков не ще мине никой по нея; (Ис 66:24; Мт 5:26; Мк 9:44)11и ще я завладеят пеликани и ежове; бухали и гарвани ще се заселят в нея; и ще протегнат по нея връв за разорение и отвес за унищожение. (Соф 2:14; Отк 18:2)12Никой не ще остане там от нейните знатни, когото биха повикали на царството, и всичките и князе ще бъдат нищо.13И дворците и ще обраснат с тръни, а твърдините и – с коприва и репей; и тя ще бъде жилище на чакали, свърталище на камилоптици. (Ис 32:13; Ер 9:11; Ос 9:6)14И зверове пустинни ще се срещат с диви котки, и песоглавци ще си подвикват един другиму; там веди ще отдъхват и ще си намират покой. (Отк 18:2)15Там ще свие гнездо хвърката змия, ще снася яйца, ще мъти малки и ще ги събира под сянката си; там и ястреби ще се събират един с други.16Намерете в книгата Господня и прочетете; ни едно от тия не ще отмине, и едно с друго не ще се замени. Защото сами Неговите уста заповядаха, и Сам Духът Му ще ги събере. (Вт 28:15; И Н 21:45; Ез 12:24)17И Сам Той им хвърли жребие, и Неговата ръка им я раздели с мярка; вовеки те ще я владеят, из рода в род ще живеят на нея. (Пс 36:9)
1Draw near, O nations, to hear, and give attention, O peoples! Let the earth hear, and all that fills it; the world, and all that comes from it. (Пс 49:1; Йоил 3:1)2For the Lord is enraged against all the nations, and furious against all their host; he has devoted them to destruction,[1] has given them over for slaughter. (Ис 34:2; Ис 63:1; Ер 49:7; Авд 1:1; Мал 1:2)6The Lord has a sword; it is sated with blood; it is gorged with fat, with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams. For the Lord has a sacrifice in Bozrah, a great slaughter in the land of Edom. (Ис 63:1)7Wild oxen shall fall with them, and young steers with the mighty bulls. Their land shall drink its fill of blood, and their soil shall be gorged with fat. (Чис 23:22; Пс 22:12; Ис 47:1)8For the Lord has a day of vengeance, a year of recompense for the cause of Zion. (Вт 14:13)16Seek and read from the book of the Lord: Not one of these shall be missing; none shall be without her mate. For the mouth of the Lord has commanded, and his Spirit has gathered them.17He has cast the lot for them; his hand has portioned it out to them with the line; they shall possess it forever; from generation to generation they shall dwell in it.
