1Proti Ammonitským. Takto praví Hospodin: Což nemá žádných synů Izrael? Což dědice žádného nemá? Proč dědičně opanoval král jejich Gádu, a lid jeho v městech tohoto bydlí?2Protož aj, dnové jdou, dí Hospodin, že způsobím, aby slyšáno bylo proti Rabba Ammonitských troubení válečné, a aby bylo obráceno v hromadu rumu, a jiná města jeho ohněm vypálena. I opanuje Izrael ty, kteříž jej byli opanovali, praví Hospodin.3Kvěl Ezebon, když popléněno bude Hai, křičte, ó dcery Rabba, přepašte se žíněmi, plačte, a běžte přes ploty; nebo král váš do zajetí půjde, kněží jeho i knížata jeho spolu.4Což se chlubíš údolími, když oplývá údolí tvé, ó dcero zpurná, kteráž doufáš v pokladech svých, říkajíc: Kdo by táhl na mne?5Aj, já uvedu na tebe strach, praví Panovník Hospodin zástupů, ze všeho vůkolí tvého, jímž rozehnáni budete všickni, a nebude žádného, kdo by shromáždil toulající se.6A však potom zase přivedu zajaté Ammonitské, dí Hospodin.7Proti Idumejským. Takto praví Hospodin zástupů: Což není více moudrosti v Teman? Zahynula rada od rozumných? Zmařena moudrost jejich?8Utíkejte, obraťe se, a hluboko se schovejte, obyvatelé Dedan; nebo bídu uvedu na Ezau v čas navštívení jeho.9Kdyby ti, kteříž zbírají víno, přišli na tebe, zdaž by nepozůstavili paběrků? Pakli zloději v noci, zdaž by škodili více nad potřebu svou?10Ale já obnažím Ezau, zodkrývám skrýše jeho, tak že se nebude moci ukryti. Pohubenoť bude símě jeho i bratří jeho i sousedé jeho, tak že nebude naprosto, kdo by řekl:11Zanech sirotků svých, já živiti je budu, a vdov svých mně se dověřte.12Takto zajisté praví Hospodin: Aj, ti, kteříž nemají žádného práva píti kalichu tohoto, předce pijí, ty pak sám abys toho naprosto prázen byl? Nebudeš prázen, ale jistotně píti budeš.13Nebo skrze sebe přisahám, dí Hospodin, že pustinou, útržkou, pouští a prokletím bude Bozra, a všecka města jeho budou pouští věčnou.14Pověst slyšel jsem od Hospodina, že posel k národům poslán jest: Shromažďte se, a táhněte proti němu; nuže, vstaňte k boji.15Nebo aj, způsobím to, abys byl za nejšpatnějšího mezi národy, v nevážnosti mezi lidmi.16To, že jsi hrozný, zklamá tě, i pýcha srdce tvého, ó ty, kterýž bydlíš v rozsedlinách skalních, kterýž se držíš vysokých pahrbků. Bys pak vysoko udělal hnízdo své jako orlice, i odtud tě strhnu, dí Hospodin.17I bude země Idumejská pustinou. Každý, kdož půjde skrze ni, užasne se, a diviti se bude nade všemi ranami jejími;18Jako podvrácení Sodomy a Gomory a sousedů jejich, praví Hospodin. Neosadí se tam žádný, aniž bydliti bude v ní syn člověka.19Aj, jako lev vystupuje i více než zdutí Jordána proti příbytku Nejsilnějšího, a však v okamžení zaženu jej z této země, a toho, kterýž jest vyvolený, ustanovím nad ní. Nebo kdo jest mně rovný? A kdo mi složí rok? A kdo jest ten pastýř, kterýž by se postavil proti mně?20Protož slyšte radu Hospodinovu, kterouž zavřel o Idumejských, a to, což myslil proti obyvatelům Temanským: Zajisté žeť je vyvlekou nejmenší tohoto stáda, zajisté že je popléní i příbytky jejich.21Od hřmotu pádu jejich třásti se bude ta země, hlas a křik jejich slyšán bude u moře Rudého.22Aj, jako orlice přitáhne a přiletí, a roztáhne křídla svá na Bozru, i bude srdce silných Idumejských v ten den podobné srdci ženy svírající se.23Proti Damašku. Zastydí se Emat i Arfad, nebo novinu zlou uslyší, a užasnou se, tak že se i moře zkormoutí, aniž se bude moci upokojiti.24Oslábne Damašek, obrátí se k utíkání, a hrůza podejme jej, svírání a bolesti zachvátí jej jako rodičku.25Ale řkou: Jakž by nemělo ostáti město slovoutné, město radosti mé?26Protož padnou mládenci jeho na ulicích jeho, a všickni muži bojovní vypléněni budou v ten den, dí Hospodin zástupů.27A zanítím oheň ve zdi Damašské, kterýž do konce zkazí paláce Benadadovy.28Proti Cedar a královstvím Azor, kteráž pohubiti má Nabuchodonozor král Babylonský. Takto praví Hospodin: Vstaňte, táhněte proti Cedar, a vypleňte národy východní.29Stany jejich i stáda jejich vezmou, kortýny jejich se vším nádobím jejich, i velbloudy jejich poberou sobě, a volati budou na ně: Strach jest vůkol.30Utecte, rozprchněte se rychle, skrejte se hluboce, obyvatelé Azor, dí Hospodin, neboť Nabuchodonozor král Babylonský složil proti vám radu, a vymyslil proti vám chytrost.31Vstaňte, táhněte proti národu upokojenému, kterýž sedí bezpečně, praví Hospodin. Nemá ani vrat ani závory, a samotní bydlejí.32Budou zajisté velbloudi jejich v loupež, a množství dobytků jejich v kořist, a rozptýlím na všeliký vítr ty, kteříž i v nejzadnějších koutech bydlejí, a ze všech stran uvedu bídu na ně, dí Hospodin.33I bude Azor příbytkem draků, pustinou až na věky; neosadí se tam žádný, aniž bude bydleti v něm syn člověka.34Slovo Hospodinovo, kteréž se stalo k Jeremiášovi proroku proti Elamitským, na počátku kralování Sedechiáše krále Judského, řkoucí:35Takto praví Hospodin zástupů: Aj, já polámi lučiště Elamitských, největší sílu jejich.36Uvedu zajisté na Elamitské čtyři větry ode čtyř stran světa, a rozptýlím je na všecky ty větry, tak že nebude národu, do něhož by se nedostal někdo z vyhnaných Elamitských.37A předěsím Elamitské před nepřátely jejich a před těmi, kteříž hledají bezživotí jejich. Uvedu, pravím, na ně zlé, prchlivost hněvu svého, dí Hospodin, a budu posílati za nimi meč, dokudž jim konce neučiním.38I postavím stolici svou mezi Elamitskými, a vypléním odtud krále i knížata, praví Hospodin.39A však stane se v posledních dnech, že zase přivedu zajaté Elamitské, dí Hospodin.
PROTI AMÓNU - Ani Milkóm, bůh Amónovců, nezachrání svůj lid. Všichni půjdou do zajetí.
1 O Amónovcích. Toto praví Hospodin: „Což Izrael nemá syny? Což nemá dědice? Proč tedy Milkóm obsadil Gáda a jeho lid se usadil v jeho městech? 2 Proto hle, přicházejí dny, je výrok Hospodinův, v nichž dám zaznít válečnému křiku proti Rabě Amónovců. Bude z ní zpustošený pahorek, její vesnice budou vypáleny a Izrael obsadí, co patřilo jejím dědicům, praví Hospodin. 3 Kvil, Chešbóne, vždyť je Aj vyhuben, křičte, dcery Raby, přepásejte se žíněnou suknicí, naříkejte! Pobíhejte po zdech, vždyť Milkóm půjde s přesídlenci, spolu se svými kněžími a velmoži. 4 Proč se chlubíš dolinami? Že z tvé doliny prýští voda, dcero odpadlice? Spoléháš na své poklady a říkáš: ‚Kdo by na mne přišel?‘ 5 Hle, přivedu na tebe postrach, je výrok Panovníka, Hospodina zástupů, ze všech stran kolem tebe. Budete rozehnáni každý zvlášť. A nebude nikoho, kdo by shromáždil vyplašené. 6 Posléze však úděl Amónovců změním, je výrok Hospodinův.“
PROTI EDÓMU - Marně Edóm spoléhá na svou moudrost, marně si buduje skalní sídlo jako orel. Bude zpustošen jako Sodoma a Gomora.
7 O Edómu. Toto praví Hospodin zástupů: „Což už není v Témanu žádná moudrost? Ztratili rozumní rozvahu? Jejich moudrost je zmařena? 8 Utečte, obraťte se, usídlete se v dolinách, obyvatelé Dedánu. Přivedu na něj bědy Ezauovy v čas, když jej ztrestám. 9 Jestliže na tebe přijdou sběrači hroznů, nezanechají paběrky, přijdou-li zloději v noci, zničí, co se dá. 10 Neboť já jsem odhalil Ezaua, odkryl jsem jeho skrýše, nebude se moci skrývat. Jeho potomstvo bude vyhubeno, jeho bratři i jeho sousedé; nebude nikoho mít. 11 Zanech své sirotky, já je zachovám při životě, ať ve mne doufají tvé vdovy.“ 12 Toto praví Hospodin: „Hle, ti, jimž nebylo určeno pít kalich, ti jej musejí pít, a ty bys zůstal bez trestu? Nezůstaneš bez trestu, určitě budeš pít.13 Vždyť jsem přísahal sám při sobě, je výrok Hospodinův, že Bosra bude budit úděs, stane se potupou, troskami, zlořečením a všechna její města budou navěky v troskách.“ 14 Uslyšel jsem zprávu od Hospodina, že mezi pronárody byl poslán vyslanec. „Shromážděte se, přijďte proti němu, vzhůru do boje! 15 Hle, mezi pronárody tě činím maličkým, opovrženým mezi lidmi. 16 Zavedla tě hrůza, kterou šíříš, opovážlivost tvého srdce. Bydlíš v skalních rozsedlinách, zmocnil ses vysokého pahorku. I když sis založil hnízdo vysoko jak orel, strhnu tě odtud, je výrok Hospodinův.“ 17 Edóm bude vzbuzovat úděs. Každý kolemjdoucí posměšně zasykne úžasem nad všemi jeho ranami.18 „Jako když Bůh podvrátil Sodomu a Gomoru a jejich sousední města, praví Hospodin, už tam nebude nikdo sídlit a člověk tam nebude pobývat ani jako host.19 Hle, vystupuje jako lev z jordánské houštiny na stále zelené nivy, ale v okamžiku ho z nich zaženu a ustanovím nad nimi toho, jenž je vyvolený. Vždyť kdo je jako já? Kdo mě může předvolat k přelíčení? A kdo je ten pastýř, který přede mnou obstojí?“ 20 Proto poslyšte Hospodinovo rozhodnutí, jak rozhodl o Edómu, i co zamýšlí proti obyvatelům Témanu: „Nejchatrnější ze stáda je vyvlečou, a jejich niva se nad nimi zhrozí. 21 Hlukem jejich pádu se zachvěje země, jejich úpění bude slyšet až u moře Rákosového. 22 Hle, zhoubce vzlétne a vrhne se dolů jako orel, roztáhne křídla nad Bosrou. A srdce edómských bohatýrů bude v onen den jako srdce ženy sevřené bolestí.“
PROTI DAMAŠKU - I na Damašek dolehne válečná pohroma a všech se zmocní hrůza.
23 O Damašku. „Stydí se Chamát i Arpád, neboť slyší zlou zprávu; zmítají se hrůzou jako moře, nemohou se uklidnit. 24 Damašek klesá, obrací se na útěk, zmocnilo se ho zděšení, soužení a útrapy ho zachvátily jako rodičku. 25 Jakže? Nebyl snad opuštěn Jeruzalém, město mé chlouby, osada, která mě obveselovala? 26 Proto jeho nejlepší padnou na jeho prostranstvích a všichni jeho bojovníci v onen den zajdou, je výrok Hospodina zástupů. 27 Na hradbách Damašku zanítím oheň a ten pozře paláce Ben-hadadovy.“
PROTI KÉDARU - Nebúkadnesar porazí i arabské kmeny a rozptýlí je.
28 O Kédaru a království Chasóru, která porazil Nebúkadnesar, král babylónský. Toto praví Hospodin: „Povstaňte, táhněte na Kédar, vyhubte syny východu! 29 Vezmou jim stany i brav, jejich stanové houně i všechno nářadí, odvlekou jim i jejich velbloudy a budou na ně volat: ‚Kolkolem děs!‘ 30 Utečte, rozprchněte se, usídlete se v dolinách, obyvatelé Chasóru, je výrok Hospodinův, neboť Nebúkadnesar, král babylónský, se proti vám rozhodl a má s vámi své úmysly. 31 Vstaňte, dejte se na pochod proti pronárodu poklidnému, který přebývá v bezpečí, je výrok Hospodinův, nemají vrata ani závory, bydlí osaměle. 32 Jejich velbloudi jim budou uloupeni, množství jejich stád bude ukořistěno. Rozptýlím je do všech větrů, ty s ostříhanými skráněmi, a přivedu na ně bědy ze všech protilehlých stran, je výrok Hospodinův. 33 Chasór se stane domovem šakalů, pustinou navěky. Už tam nebude nikdo sídlit a člověk tam nebude pobývat ani jako host.“
PROTI ÉLAMU - Élam bude rozptýlen, ale Hospodin jeho úděl v posledních dnech změní.
34 Slovo Hospodinovo, které se stalo k proroku Jeremjášovi o Élamu na začátku kralování Sidkijáše, krále judského: 35 Toto praví Hospodin zástupů: „Hle, zlomím luk Élamu, prvotinu jejich bohatýrské síly. 36 Přivedu na Élam čtyři větry ze čtyř končin nebes a rozptýlím Élamce do všech těch větrů, takže nebude pronároda, kam by élamští vyhnanci nepřišli. 37 Předěsím Élam před jejich nepřáteli, před těmi, kteří jim ukládají o život. Uvedu na ně zlo, svůj planoucí hněv, je výrok Hospodinův. Pošlu za nimi meč a skoncuji s nimi. 38 Pak postavím v Élamu svůj trůn a zničím odtud krále i velmože, je výrok Hospodinův. 39 Ale v posledních dnech úděl Élamu změním, je výrok Hospodinův.“
1Toto praví Hospodin o Amoncích: „Copak Izrael nemá děti? Copak nemá žádné dědice? Proč tedy Moloch[1] dědí po Gádovi a jeho lid tam bydlí ve městech?2Hle, přicházejí dny, praví Hospodin, kdy proti Rabě Amonců zakřičím do bitvy. Zbude z ní jen hromada sutin, její vesnice budou spáleny a Izrael vyžene ty, kdo jej vyháněli, praví Hospodin.3Kvílej, Chešbone, Aj je vyhuben, obyvatelky Raby, bědujte, oblečte pytel a kvílejte, mezi hradbami sem tam běhejte! Moloch odejde do vyhnanství a s ním i jeho kněží a velmoži.4Chlubíš se svými pláněmi? Že je tvá pláň tak úrodná, dcero nevěrná? Spoléháš na své poklady, prý: ‚Kdo by mě napadal?‘5Hle, přivedu na tebe hrůzu, praví Hospodin, Pán zástupů, hrůzu z celého tvého okolí. Budete rozehnáni každý na jinou stranu a nikdo už neshromáždí ty, kdo se rozprchli.6Později ale osud Amonců změním, praví Hospodin.“
Slovo o Edomu
7Toto praví Hospodin zástupů o Edomu: „Copak už není moudrost v Temanu? Přišli rozvážní o rozum? Je jejich moudrost k ničemu?8Obraťte se a utečte! Dedanští, skryjte se v dolině! Na Ezaua totiž přivedu neštěstí v čas, kdy s ním zúčtuji.9Přijdou-li na tvé hrozny česáči, nechají aspoň paběrky. Přepadnou-li tě v noci zloději, vezmou jen to, co budou chtít.[2]10Já však Ezaua svléknu donaha, odhalím jeho úkryty, už se neschová! Jeho děti i příbuzní budou zničeni, nezbude mu soused, jenž by ho oslovil:11‚Nech tu své sirotky, já je nechám žít, tvé vdovy ať ve mne doufají.‘“12Tak praví Hospodin: „Hle, ti, kdo neměli pít kalich hněvu, jej teď musí pít – a ty bys měl uniknout bez trestu? Neunikneš, ten kalich vypiješ!13Přísahám při sobě samém, praví Hospodin, že Bosra se stane děsnou pustinou, že bude posměškem a nadávkou a všechna její města zůstanou v troskách na věčnost.“14Od Hospodina jsem slyšel zprávu, že byl vyslán posel k národům: Šikujte se! Vzhůru k útoku! Válčete proti Edomu![3]15„Hle, činím tě nepatrným mezi národy, mezi lidmi budeš v opovržení.16Klame tě hrůza, kterou vzbuzuješ, a pýcha tvého srdce. V rozeklaných skalách sis zřídil obydlí, obsadils horské vrcholy. I kdyby ses vysoko jak orel uhnízdil, i odtamtud tě strhnu, praví Hospodin.17Edom bude budit děs. Každý, kdo tudy půjde, zhrozí se a užasne nad všemi ranami, jež na něj dopadly.18Jako když byla rozvrácena Sodoma a Gomora i s městy v jejich okolí, praví Hospodin, ani zde nebude nikdo žít, neusadí se tu žádný smrtelník.19Jako když lev vyráží z jordánského houští na zavlažené pastviny, stejně tak vyženu Edomce znenadání z jejich území. Kdo je ten vyvolený, jehož tím pověřím? Kdo je jako já? Kdo si mě předvolá? Kdo je ten pastýř, jenž přede mnou obstojí?“20Nuže, slyšte, co Hospodin rozhodl o Edomu a co zamýšlí proti obyvatelům Temanu: I ti nejmenší ze stáda budou odvlečeni i jejich pastvina se zhrozí nad nimi.21Rachot jejich pádu otřese zemí, až k Rudému moři se ponese jejich křik.22Hle, orel se zvedá a dolů vrhá se, nad Bosrou křídla rozestře! Srdce edomských hrdinů bude v onen den jako srdce ženy v porodních bolestech.
Slovo o Damašku
23O Damašku: „Chamát i Arpád leží v hanbě, neboť zlou zprávu slyšeli; zmítají se hrůzou jako moře, jež nelze utišit.24Damašek slábne, zachvácen děsem se dává na útěk, jak rodička je sevřen v bolestech.25Ach, jak je opuštěno město slavné pověsti, to město radosti!26Ano! Jeho mládenci padnou v ulicích, všichni bojovníci budou v ten den zabiti, praví Hospodin zástupů.27Zapálím na damašských hradbách oheň, aby pohltil Ben-hadadovy paláce!“
Slovo o Kedaru a Chacoru
28Toto praví Hospodin o Kedaru a o královstvích chacorských kmenů (které pak babylonský král Nabukadnezar porazil): „Vzhůru! Do boje proti Kedaru! Zahubte syny Východu!29Stany i stáda jim budou vzaty, stanové plachty i všechny věci. Jejich velbloudi budou odvedeni pryč, ‚Hrůza všude kolem!‘ – tak na ně lidé zakřičí.30Rychle! Dejte se na útěk! Chacorští, skryjte se v dolině! praví Hospodin. Babylonský král Nabukadnezar se chystá proti vám, už na vás vymýšlí svůj plán.31Vzhůru! Do boje proti národu, jenž žije v pohodlí a poklidu! praví Hospodin. Nemají vrata ani závory, žijí o samotě, v bezpečí.32Jejich velbloudi jim budou uloupeni, jejich obrovská stáda budou kořistí. Ty, kteří si holí skráně,[4] rozeženu do všech stran, praví Hospodin; přivedu na ně zkázu odevšad!33Chacor se stane doupětem šakalů, věčnou pustinou. Nebude zde už nikdo žít, neusadí se tu žádný smrtelník.“
Slovo o Elamu
34Slovo Hospodinovo, které na počátku vlády judského krále Cidkiáše dostal prorok Jeremiáš o Elamu.35Tak praví Hospodin zástupů: „Hle, lámu luk Elamu – jeho hlavní sílu!36Přivedu na Elam čtyři vichry ze čtyř nebeských stran a těmi vichry ho všude rozmetám, takže nezbude ani jeden národ, kam elamští utečenci nepřijdou.37Vyděsím Elam před jeho nepřáteli, před těmi, kdo pasou po jejich životě. Uvedu na ně neštěstí, svůj planoucí hněv, praví Hospodin. Pošlu za nimi meč, abych je vyhladil.38Ustanovím svůj trůn nad Elamem, abych odtud hubil krále i velmože, praví Hospodin.39V posledních dnech ale osud Elamu změním, praví Hospodin.“

Gegen Edom
7Über Edom: So spricht der HERR der Heerscharen:
Gibt es keine Weisheit mehr in Teman? / Ging den Klugen der Rat verloren, / ist ihre Weisheit verdorben? (Abd 1,1)8Flieht, macht kehrt, / tief unten versteckt euch, Bewohner von Dedan!
Denn ich bringe über Esau Verderben, / die Zeit seiner Heimsuchung.9Wenn Winzer zu dir kommen, / lassen sie keine Nachlese übrig.
Wenn Diebe in der Nacht kommen, / zerstören sie nach Lust. (Abd 1,5)10Ja, ich selbst entblöße Esau, / decke seine Schlupfwinkel auf, / sodass er sich nicht mehr verbergen kann.
Vernichtet sind seine Nachkommen, / seine Brüder und seine Nachbarn / und er ist nicht mehr. (Abd 1,6)11Überlasse mir deine Waisen! Das Herz der Helden Edoms ist an jenem Tag / wie das Herz einer Frau in Wehen. (Jr 48,40)
Gegen Damaskus
23Über Damaskus: Zuschanden wurden Hamat und Arpad; / weil sie böse Nachricht hören mussten, verzagen sie.
Sogar im Meer herrscht Besorgnis, / es kann nicht zur Ruhe kommen. (Iz 57,20)24Damaskus wird schwach, es wendet sich zur Flucht, / Schrecken erfasst es, / Angst und Wehen ergreifen es wie eine Gebärende.25Weshalb ist die ruhmreiche Stadt nicht verlassen worden, / die Stadt meiner Freude![2]26Darum fallen ihre jungen Männer auf ihren Plätzen, / alle Krieger kommen um an jenem Tag / - Spruch des HERRN der Heerscharen. Gegen Kedar und die Reiche von Hazor
28Über Kedar und die Reiche von Hazor, die Nebukadnezzar, der König von Babel, geschlagen hat.
So spricht der HERR:
Auf, zieht hinauf gegen Kedar, / vernichtet die Söhne des Ostens!29Man raubt ihre Zelte und ihre Herden, / ihre Decken und ihr ganzes Gerät;
auch ihre Kamele nimmt man mit / und man ruft über sie aus: Grauen ringsum! (Jr 6,25; Jr 46,5)30Flieht, macht euch eilends davon, / tief unten versteckt euch, / ihr Bewohner von Hazor! - Spruch des HERRN.
Denn Nebukadnezzar, der König von Babel, / hat gegen euch einen Beschluss gefasst / und einen Plan gegen euch ersonnen. (Jr 49,8)31Auf, zieht hinauf gegen das sorglose Volk, / das in Sicherheit lebt - Spruch des HERRN -,

Gegen Elam
34Das Wort des HERRN, das an den Propheten Jeremia erging gegen Elam, zu Beginn der Regierung Zidkijas, des Königs von Juda:35So spricht der HERR der Heerscharen:
Siehe, ich zerbreche den Bogen Elams, / seine stärkste Waffe. (Iz 22,6)36Ich bringe über Elam vier Winde / von den vier Enden des Himmels.
In alle diese Winde zerstreue ich sie, / sodass es kein Volk gibt, / zu dem nicht Versprengte aus Elam kommen.37Ich jage den Elamitern Schrecken ein vor ihren Feinden, / vor denen, die nach ihrem Leben trachten.
Unheil lasse ich über sie kommen, / meinen glühenden Zorn - Spruch des HERRN.
