1 Udělal také Bezeleel truhlu z dříví setim, jejíž dlouhost byla půl třetího lokte, a půl druhého lokte širokost, vysokost také půl druhého lokte. 2 A obložil ji zlatem čistým vnitř i zevnitř, a udělal jí korunu zlatou vůkol. 3 Slil jí také čtyři kruhy zlaté ke čtyřem úhlům jejím, dva totiž kruhy po jedné straně její, a dva kruhy po druhé straně její. 4 Zdělal i sochory z dříví setim a obložil je zlatem. 5 A uvlékl sochory do kruhů po stranách truhly; aby na nich nošena byla truhla. 6 Udělal také slitovnici z zlata čistého. Půl třetího lokte byla dlouhost její, a půl druhého lokte širokost její. 7 Udělal i dva cherubíny z zlata, z taženého zlata udělal je na dvou koncích slitovnice, 8 Cherubína jednoho na jednom konci a cherubína druhého na druhém konci; na slitovnici udělal cherubíny, na obou koncích jejích. 9 Ti pak cherubínové měli křídla vztažená svrchu nad ní, zastírajíce křídly svými slitovnici; a tváři jejich byly obráceny jedna k druhé, k slitovnici byly obráceny tváři cherubínů. 10 Udělal i stůl z dříví setim. Dvou loket byla dlouhost jeho a na loket širokost jeho, půl druhého pak lokte vysokost. 11 A obložil jej zlatem čistým, i korunu zlatou udělal mu vůkol. 12 Udělal mu i lištu dlani zšíří vůkol, a udělal korunu zlatou okolo té lišty. 13 Slil také k němu čtyři kruhy zlaté a vpustil je do čtyř úhlů, kteříž byli na čtyřech nohách jeho. 14 Proti té liště byli kruhové, skrze něž by provlačováni byli sochorové k nošení stolu. 15 Udělal i sochory z dříví setim, kteréžto obložil zlatem k nošení stolu. 16 A zdělal nádoby, kteréž byly na stole, misy jeho a lžice jeho, a koflíky jeho, a přikryvadla k přikrývání z čistého zlata. 17 Udělal také svícen z zlata čistého, z taženého zlata udělal svícen; sloupec jeho i prutové jeho, misky jeho, koule jeho i květové jeho z něho byli. 18 Šest pak prutů bylo po stranách jeho, tři prutové s jedné strany jeho, a tři prutové s druhé strany jeho. 19 Tři misky na způsob pecky mandlové udělány byly na prutu jednom, a koule a květ, a tři misky na způsob pecky mandlové udělány na prutu druhém, a koule a květ; tak i na jiných šesti prutech z svícnu vycházejících. 20 Na svícnu také byly čtyři misky, udělané na způsob mandlové pecky, a koule jeho i květové jeho. 21 A byla koule pode dvěma pruty z něho, a koule druhá pode dvěma pruty z něho, a koule třetí pode dvěma pruty z něho, a tak pod šesti pruty vycházejícími z něho. 22 Koule jejich i prutové jejich z něho byli, všecko hned jedním tažením z zlata čistého. 23 Udělal i lamp jeho sedm, i utěradla jeho, i nádoby k oharkům jeho z zlata čistého. 24 Z centnéře zlata čistého udělal jej se vším tím nádobím. 25 Udělal také oltář pro kadění z dříví setim, lokte zdélí a lokte zšíří, čtverhraný, dvou pak loket zvýší; z něho byli rohové jeho. 26 A obložil jej zlatem čistým, svrchek jeho i po stranách vůkol, i rohy jeho; a udělal mu korunu zlatou vůkol. 27 Po dvou podobně kruzích zlatých udělal u něho, pod korunou ve dvou úhlech jeho, po dvou stranách jeho, skrze něž by provlačováni byli sochorové, aby nošen byl na nich. 28 A zdělal ty sochory z dříví setim, a obložil je zlatem. 29 Nadělal také oleje pomazání svatého, a kadidla z vonných věcí, čistého, dílem apatykářským.

1 Besaleel zhotovil schránu z akáciového dřeva dva a půl lokte dlouhou, jeden a půl lokte širokou a jeden a půl lokte vysokou. 2 Obložil ji uvnitř i zvnějšku čistým zlatem a opatřil ji dokola zlatou obrubou. 3 Odlil pro ni čtyři zlaté kruhy a připevnil je ke čtyřem jejím hranám; dva kruhy na jednom boku a dva kruhy na druhém. 4 Zhotovil tyče z akáciového dřeva a potáhl je zlatem. 5 Tyče prostrčil kruhy po stranách schrány, aby bylo možno schránu nést. 6 Zhotovil příkrov z čistého zlata dva a půl lokte dlouhý a jeden a půl lokte široký. 7 Potom zhotovil dva cheruby ze zlata; dal je vytepat na oba konce příkrovu. 8 Jeden cherub byl na jednom konci a druhý cherub na druhém konci. Udělal cheruby na příkrov, na oba jeho konce. 9 Cherubové měli křídla rozpjatá vzhůru; svými křídly zastírali příkrov. Tvářemi byli obráceni k sobě; hleděli na příkrov. 10 Zhotovil stůl z akáciového dřeva dva lokte dlouhý, jeden loket široký a jeden a půl lokte vysoký. 11 Obložil jej čistým zlatem a opatřil jej dokola zlatou obrubou. 12 Udělal mu také dokola na dlaň širokou lištu a k liště udělal dokola zlatou obrubu. 13 Odlil pro něj čtyři zlaté kruhy a připevnil je ke čtyřem rohům při jeho čtyřech nohách. 14 Kruhy byly těsně u lišty, aby držely tyče na nošení stolu. 15 Tyče zhotovil z akáciového dřeva a potáhl je zlatem; sloužily k nošení stolu. 16 Zhotovil také nádoby, které patří na stůl, mísy, pánvičky, obětní misky a konvice, používané k úlitbě, vše z čistého zlata. 17 Zhotovil svícen z čistého zlata. Svícen měl vytepaný dřík a prut; jeho kalichy, číšky a květy byly s ním zhotoveny z jednoho kusu. 18 Z jeho stran vycházelo šest prutů, tři pruty svícnu po jedné straně a tři pruty svícnu po druhé straně. 19 Na jednom prutu byly tři kalichy podobné mandloňovému květu: číška a květ. A tři kalichy podobné mandloňovému květu na druhém prutu: číška a květ. Tak to bylo na všech šesti prutech vycházejících ze svícnu. 20 Na svícnu byly čtyři kalichy podobné mandloňovému květu s číškami a květy. 21 Jedna číška byla pod jednou dvojicí prutů, druhá číška byla pod druhou dvojicí prutů a třetí číška byla pod třetí dvojicí prutů; tak to bylo u všech šesti prutů vycházejících ze svícnu. 22 Příslušné číšky a pruty byly s ním zhotoveny z jednoho kusu; všechno bylo v celku vytepáno z čistého zlata. 23 Ke svícnu zhotovil také sedm kahánků, nůžky na knoty a pánve z čistého zlata na oharky. 24 Svícen se všemi předměty zhotovil z jednoho talentu čistého zlata. 25 Zhotovil kadidlový oltář z akáciového dřeva, čtyřhranný, loket dlouhý, loket široký a dva lokte vysoký; jeho rohy byly z jednoho kusu s ním. 26 Potáhl jej čistým zlatem, jeho vršek i jeho stěny dokola a jeho rohy, a opatřil jej dokola zlatou obrubou. 27 Zhotovil pro něj též dva zlaté kruhy, a to pod obrubou při jeho bocích, k oběma bočnicím, aby držely tyče, na nichž byl nošen. 28 Tyče zhotovil z akáciového dřeva a potáhl je zlatem. 29 Připravil také olej svatého pomazání a kadidlo z vonných látek, čisté, odborně smísené.

Truhla

1 Potom Becaleel vyrobil truhlu z akáciového dřeva: byla dva a půl lokte dlouhá, jeden a půl lokte široká a jeden a půl lokte vysoká.^[1] 2 Obložil ji zevnitř i zvenčí čistým zlatem a po jejím obvodu udělal zlatý věnec. 3 Ulil pro ni čtyři zlaté kruhy a připevnil je k jejím čtyřem nohám: dva kruhy po jednom jejím boku a dva kruhy po druhém. 4 Z akáciového dřeva zhotovil rovněž tyče a obložil je zlatem. 5 Tyče pak provlékl skrz kruhy po bocích truhly, aby se truhla dala nosit. 6 Vyrobil také příkrov z čistého zlata, totiž slitovnici: byla dva a půl lokte dlouhá a jeden a půl lokte široká. 7 Vytvořil také dva cheruby. Zhotovil je z tepaného zlata na obou koncích slitovnice: 8 jednoho cheruba na jednom konci a druhého cheruba na druhém konci. Udělal cheruby tak, aby vystupovali ze slitovnice na obou jejích koncích. 9 Cherubové měli rozpjatá křídla, jimiž zastiňovali slitovnici. Byli obráceni čelem k sobě a tvářemi se skláněli nad slitovnici.

Stůl

10 Vyrobil také stůl z akáciového dřeva: byl dva lokte dlouhý, jeden loket široký a jeden a půl lokte vysoký.^[2] 11 Obložil jej čistým zlatem a po jeho obvodu udělal zlatý věnec. 12 Udělal po jeho obvodu také na dlaň^[3] širokou obrubu a kolem ní další zlatý věnec. 13 Ulil k němu také čtyři zlaté kruhy, které připevnil ke čtyřem rohům u jeho čtyř nohou. 14 Kruhy byly upevněny těsně pod obrubou jako úchyty pro tyče, aby se stůl dal nosit. 15 Tyče udělal z akáciového dřeva, aby se stůl dal nosit, a obložil je zlatem. 16 Vyrobil rovněž nádoby patřící na stůl, mísy, pohárky, číše a konvice na úlitby, a to z čistého zlata.

Svícen

17 Vyrobil také svícen z čistého zlata. Svícen měl tepanou patu i dřík a vystupovaly z něj pohárky, pupeny a květy. 18 Z jeho boků vycházelo šest prutů: tři pruty svícnu z jedné strany svícnu a tři pruty z druhé. 19 Na jednom prutu byly tři mandlovité pohárky s pupenem a květem, na dalším prutu také tři a tak to bylo na všech šesti prutech vycházejících ze svícnu. 20 Na dříku pak byly čtyři mandlovité pohárky s pupeny a květy. 21 Pod jedním párem prutů, jež z něj vystupují, byl jeden pupen, pod druhým párem další pupen a pod třetím další – takto u všech šesti prutů vycházejících ze svícnu. 22 Tyto pupeny i pruty vystupovaly ze svícnu a všechno to bylo vytepáno z jednoho kusu čistého zlata. 23 Ke svícnu zhotovil z čistého zlata také sedm kahanů, kleště a pánvice na oharky. 24 Svícen spolu se vším tímto náčiním vyrobil z talentu^[4] čistého zlata.

Kadidlový oltář

25 Zhotovil také kadidlový oltář z akáciového dřeva. Byl čtvercový, loket na délku a loket na šířku;^[5] na výšku měl dva lokte a vystupovaly z něj rohy. 26 Obložil jej čistým zlatem: jeho vršek, jeho stěny kolem dokola i jeho rohy. Po jeho obvodu udělal zlatý věnec. 27 Pod tím věncem k němu na obou bocích připevnil dva zlaté kruhy, a to po obou stranách. Sloužily jako úchyty pro tyče, aby se na nich dal nosit. 28 Tyče vyrobil z akáciového dřeva a obložil je zlatem. 29 Voňavkářským způsobem pak připravil olej svatého pomazání a čisté kadidlo z vonných látek.

Making the Ark

1 Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood. Two cubits^[1] and a half was its length, a cubit and a half its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height. (Ex 25,10) 2 And he overlaid it with pure gold inside and outside, and made a molding of gold around it. 3 And he cast for it four rings of gold for its four feet, two rings on its one side and two rings on its other side. (Ex 25,12) 4 And he made poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold 5 and put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark to carry the ark. 6 And he made a mercy seat of pure gold. Two cubits and a half was its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth. 7 And he made two cherubim of gold. He made them of hammered work on the two ends of the mercy seat, 8 one cherub on the one end, and one cherub on the other end. Of one piece with the mercy seat he made the cherubim on its two ends. 9 The cherubim spread out their wings above, overshadowing the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces one to another; toward the mercy seat were the faces of the cherubim.

Making the Table

10 He also made the table of acacia wood. Two cubits was its length, a cubit its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height. (Ex 25,23) 11 And he overlaid it with pure gold, and made a molding of gold around it. 12 And he made a rim around it a handbreadth^[2] wide, and made a molding of gold around the rim. 13 He cast for it four rings of gold and fastened the rings to the four corners at its four legs. 14 Close to the frame were the rings, as holders for the poles to carry the table. 15 He made the poles of acacia wood to carry the table, and overlaid them with gold. 16 And he made the vessels of pure gold that were to be on the table, its plates and dishes for incense, and its bowls and flagons with which to pour drink offerings.

Making the Lampstand

17 He also made the lampstand of pure gold. He made the lampstand of hammered work. Its base, its stem, its cups, its calyxes, and its flowers were of one piece with it. (Ex 25,31) 18 And there were six branches going out of its sides, three branches of the lampstand out of one side of it and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side of it; 19 three cups made like almond blossoms, each with calyx and flower, on one branch, and three cups made like almond blossoms, each with calyx and flower, on the other branch—so for the six branches going out of the lampstand. 20 And on the lampstand itself were four cups made like almond blossoms, with their calyxes and flowers, 21 and a calyx of one piece with it under each pair of the six branches going out of it. 22 Their calyxes and their branches were of one piece with it. The whole of it was a single piece of hammered work of pure gold. 23 And he made its seven lamps and its tongs and its trays of pure gold. 24 He made it and all its utensils out of a talent^[3] of pure gold.

Making the Altar of Incense

25 He made the altar of incense of acacia wood. Its length was a cubit, and its breadth was a cubit. It was square, and two cubits was its height. Its horns were of one piece with it. (Ex 30,1) 26 He overlaid it with pure gold, its top and around its sides and its horns. And he made a molding of gold around it, 27 and made two rings of gold on it under its molding, on two opposite sides of it, as holders for the poles with which to carry it. 28 And he made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold. 29 He made the holy anointing oil also, and the pure fragrant incense, blended as by the perfumer.
