1Shromáždil pak David všecka knížata Izraelská, knížata jednoho každého pokolení, a knížata houfů sloužících králi, i hejtmany a setníky, i úředníky nade vším statkem a jměním královým i synů jeho s komorníky, i se všemi vzácnými a udatnými lidmi, do Jeruzaléma.2A povstav David král na nohy své, řekl: Slyšte mne, bratří moji a lide můj. Já jsem uložil v srdci svém vystavěti dům k odpočinutí truhle úmluvy Hospodinovy, a ku podnoži noh Boha našeho, a připravil jsem byl potřeby k stavení.3Ale Bůh mi řekl: Nebudeš stavěti domu jménu mému, proto že jsi muž válkami zaměstknaný a krev jsi vyléval.4Vyvolil pak Hospodin Bůh Izraelský mne ze vší čeledi otce mého, abych byl králem nad Izraelem na věky; nebo z Judy vybral vývodu a z domu Judova čeled otce mého, a z synů otce mého mne ráčil za krále ustanoviti nade vším Izraelem.5Tolikéž ze všech synů mých, (nebo mnoho synů dal mi Hospodin), vybral Šalomouna syna mého, aby seděl na stolici království Hospodinova nad Izraelem,6A řekl mi: Šalomoun syn tvůj, ten mi vzdělá dům můj a síně mé; nebo jsem jej sobě zvolil za syna, a já budu jemu za otce.7I utvrdím království jeho až na věky, bude-li stálý v ostříhání přikázaní mých a soudů mých, jako i nynějšího času.8Nyní tedy při přítomnosti všeho Izraele, shromáždění Hospodinova, an slyší Bůh náš, napomínám vás: Zachovávejte a dotazujte se na všecka přikázaní Hospodina Boha svého, abyste vládli zemí dobrou, a v dědictví její uvedli i syny své po sobě až na věky.9Ty také, Šalomoune, synu můj, znej Boha otce svého, a služ jemu celým srdcem a myslí ochotnou. Nebo všecka srdce zpytuje Hospodin a všeliká mysli tanutí zná. Budeš-li ho hledati, nalezneš jej; pakli ho opustíš, zavrže tě na věky.10A tak viziž, že tě Hospodin zvolil, abys vystavěl dům svatyně; posilniž se a dělej.11Dal pak David Šalomounovi synu svému formu síňce i pokojů jejích, a sklepů i paláců a komor jejích vnitřních, i domu pro slitovnici,12A formu všeho toho, což byl složil v mysli své o síních domu Hospodinova, i o všech komorách vůkol chrámu pro poklady domu Božího, i pro poklady věcí posvátných,13I pro houfy kněží a Levítů, a pro všecko dílo služby domu Hospodinova, a pro všecko nádobí k přisluhování v domě Hospodinově.14Dal též zlata v jisté váze na nádobí zlaté, na všelijaké nádobí k jedné každé službě, též stříbra na všecky nádoby stříbrné v jisté váze na všelijaké nádobí k jedné každé službě,15Totiž váhu na svícny zlaté, a lampy jejich zlaté podlé váhy jednoho každého svícnu i lamp jeho, na svícny pak stříbrné podlé váhy svícnu každého a lamp jeho, jakž potřebí bylo každému svícnu.16Zlata též váhu na stoly předložení na jeden každý stůl, i stříbra na stoly stříbrné,17I na vidličky a na kotlíky, i na přikryvadla zlata ryzího, a na medenice zlaté váhu na jednu každou medenici, tolikéž na medenice stříbrné jistou váhu na jednu každou medenici.18Také na oltář k kadění zlata ryzího váhu, zlata i k udělání vozů cherubínů, kteříž by roztaženými křídly zastírali truhlu úmluvy Hospodinovy.19Všecko to skrze vypsání z ruky Hospodinovy mne došlo, kterýž mi to dal, abych vyrozuměl všemu dílu formy té.20A tak řekl David Šalomounovi synu svému: Posilniž se a zmocni a dělej; neboj se, ani lekej. Nebo Hospodin Bůh, Bůh můj s tebou bude, nenecháť tebe samého, aniž tě opustí, až i dokonáno bude všecko dílo služby domu Hospodinova.21Hle, i houfové kněží a Levítů ke všeliké službě domu Božího s tebou také budou při všelikém díle, jsouce všickni ochotní a prozřetelní v moudrosti při všeliké práci, knížata také i všecken lid ke všechněm slovům tvým.
— Pokyny pro Šalomouna - David, vyvolený král, předává svému synu Šalomounovi, budoucímu staviteli chrámu, nákres svatyně a příslušné náčiní.
1 David shromáždil do Jeruzaléma všechny izraelské předáky, předáky kmenů a předáky oddílů, kteří byli v králových službách, též velitele nad tisíci a nad sty i správce jmění a stád krále a jeho synů spolu s dvořany a bohatýry, každého statečného bohatýra.2Král David povstal a řekl: „Slyšte mě, moji bratří a můj lide! Já sám jsem měl v úmyslu vybudovat dům odpočinutí pro schránu Hospodinovy smlouvy, pro podnož nohou našeho Boha. Už jsem začal se stavebními přípravami.3 Ale Bůh mi řekl: ‚Ty nemůžeš vybudovat dům pro mé jméno, neboť jsi vedl mnoho bojů a prolil jsi mnoho krve.‘4 Hospodin, Bůh Izraele, si vyvolil z celého domu mého otce mne, abych byl navěky králem nad Izraelem. Z Judy si totiž vyvolil vévodu a z domu Judova dům mého otce a mezi syny mého otce našel zalíbení ve mně. Tak mě ustanovil králem nad celým Izraelem.5 Ze všech mých synů, a Hospodin mi dal synů mnoho, si vyvolil mého syna Šalomouna, aby usedl na Hospodinův královský trůn nad Izraelem.6 Řekl mi: ‚Tvůj syn Šalomoun, ten vybuduje můj dům a má nádvoří, neboť jsem si ho vyvolil za syna. Já mu budu Otcem.7 Jeho království upevním navěky, jestliže bude rozhodně dodržovat mé příkazy a právní ustanovení tak jako dnes.‘8 A nyní před zraky celého Izraele, Hospodinova shromáždění, a před sluchem našeho Boha: Bedlivě se vždy dotazujte na všechny příkazy Hospodina, svého Boha, abyste si udrželi tu dobrou zemi a mohli ji předat svým synům do dědictví navěky.“ 9 „Ty pak, můj synu Šalomoune, poznávej Boha svého otce a služ mu celým srdcem a ochotnou myslí. Hospodin zkoumá srdce všech, postřehne každý výtvor mysli. Budeš-li se ho dotazovat, dá se ti najít, jestliže ho opustíš, odvrhne tě navždy.10 Nyní hleď, Hospodin tě vyvolil, abys mu vybudoval dům, svatyni. Buď rozhodný a jednej!“ 11 David předal svému synu Šalomounovi plán předsíně, jednotlivých částí domu, jeho pokladnic a přístřešků, jeho vestavěných pokojíků i domu pro příkrov schrány,12 též plán všeho, jak si to představoval, nádvoří Hospodinova domu a všech okolních komor, skladů při Božím domě a skladů pro svaté věci,13 seznam tříd kněží a lévijců, rozpis veškerého služebného díla při Hospodinově domě, soupis všeho náčiní k službě při Hospodinově domě.14 Pro veškeré zlaté náčiní k různým službám předal zlato podle váhy, pro veškeré stříbrné náčiní, pro veškeré náčiní k různým službám stříbro podle váhy,15 pro zlaté svícny a zlaté kahánky na nich zlato podle váhy svícnu a kahánků, pro stříbrné svícny stříbro podle váhy svícnu a kahánků, na každý svícen zvlášť podle potřeby;16 dále zlato podle váhy pro stoly na rovnání předkladných chlebů, na každý stůl zvlášť, též stříbro na stříbrné stoly,17 na vidlice, kropenky i konve zlato čisté a zlato podle váhy na koflíky, na každý koflík zvlášť, též stříbro podle váhy na stříbrné koflíky, na každý koflík zvlášť,18 na kadidlový oltář přetavené zlato podle váhy; dále plán vozu a zlatých cherubů, rozprostírajících křídla a zastírajících schránu Hospodinovy smlouvy.19„To vše bylo zapsáno rukou Hospodinovou, abych mohl prozíravě připravit plán veškerého díla.“ 20 David řekl svému synu Šalomounovi: „Buď rozhodný a udatný, jednej! Neboj se a neděs! Hospodin Bůh, můj Bůh, bude s tebou. Nenechá tě klesnout a neopustí tě, dokud veškeré dílo prací na Hospodinově domě nedokončíš.21 A tu jsou třídy kněží a lévijců pro veškerou práci při Božím domě. S tebou pak budou předáci a všechen lid při veškerém díle, aby se všechna práce konala dobrovolně a moudře a podle každého tvého slova.“
1David shromáždil všechny vůdce Izraele, vůdce kmenů, vůdce oddílů sloužících králi, vůdce tisíců i stovek, správce všeho majetku a stád krále i jeho synů spolu s komořími, s hrdiny a se všemi bojovníky do Jeruzaléma.2Potom král David vstal a promluvil: „Slyšte mě, bratři, lide můj! Měl jsem na srdci vybudovat chrám, kde by spočinula Truhla Hospodinovy smlouvy – chrám, který by byl podnoží nohám našeho Boha. Připravil jsem stavbu,3ale Bůh mi řekl: ‚Nepostavíš dům mému jménu, neboť jsi vedl války a proléval jsi krev.‘[1]4Hospodin, Bůh Izraele, vyvolil z celého mého otcovského rodu mě, abych byl králem Izraele navěky. Judu vybral jako vůdce, v judském rodu pak můj otcovský dům a ze synů mého otce ráčil vybrat za krále nad celým Izraelem právě mě.5Ze všech mých synů – a Hospodin mi jich dal mnoho – pak vyvolil mého syna Šalomouna, aby usedl na trůn Hospodinova království nad Izraelem.6Řekl mi: ‚Tvůj syn Šalomoun, ten mi vybuduje chrám i nádvoří. Jeho jsem si vyvolil za syna a já mu budu otcem.7Jeho království upevním až navěky, bude-li spolehlivě plnit má přikázání a zákony, jak se to děje dnes.‘[2]8Před zraky celého Izraele, před shromážděním Hospodinovým, vás teď proto vyzývám a náš Bůh to slyší: Dodržujte a vyhledávejte všechna přikázání Hospodina, vašeho Boha, abyste mohli užívat tuto krásnou zem a zanechali ji svým synům jako věčné dědictví.9A ty, Šalomoune, synu můj, poznávej Boha svého otce a služ mu celým srdcem a z duše rád. Neboť Hospodin zkoumá všechna srdce a všechna hnutí mysli rozpozná. Budeš-li ho hledat, dá se ti nalézt. Opustíš-li ho, navždy tě odvrhne.10Pohleď – Hospodin tě vyvolil, abys postavil chrám pro jeho svatyni. Buď silný a jednej!“11Potom David předal svému synu Šalomounovi předlohu předsíně, jednotlivých budov, pokladnic, střešních komor a vnitřních místností i prostoru pro slitovnici12jakož i předlohy pro všechno ostatní, co měl na mysli: pro nádvoří Hospodinova domu i všechny okolní síně, pro pokladnice Božího domu i pokladnice svatých věcí,13pro kněžské a levitské oddíly, pro konání veškeré služby Hospodinova domu, pro všechno náčiní služby Hospodinova domu,14pro zlato určil váhy zlatého náčiní pro každou jednotlivou službu, pro veškeré stříbrné náčiní určil váhu všeho potřebného k různé službě,15pro zlaté svícny a jejich zlaté lampy určil váhu každého svícnu a jeho lamp, pro stříbrné svícny určil váhy svícnů a jejich lamp, kolik bylo na který svícen potřeba,16pro každý jednotlivý stůl předložení určil váhu zlata, pro stříbrné stoly stříbro,17pro vidlice, misky a konvice ryzí zlato, pro zlaté mísy určil váhu každé jednotlivé mísy, pro stříbrné mísy určil váhu každé jednotlivé mísy,18pro kadidlový oltář určil váhu přetaveného zlata. Předal mu také předlohu Trůnu, totiž zlatých cherubů s rozpjatými křídly zastiňujícími Truhlu Hospodinovy smlouvy.19„Celý tento soupis mám od Hospodina, který mi objasnil každou část oné předlohy,“20řekl David svému synu Šalomounovi. „Buď silný a statečný; dej se do díla! Neboj se a nestrachuj, neboť Hospodin Bůh, můj Bůh, bude s tebou. Neopustí tě a nenechá, dokud se nedokončí veškerá práce na Hospodinově chrámu.21Pohleď, oddíly kněží a levitů jsou připraveny k veškeré službě při Božím domě. Také všichni, kdo jsou zruční v jakémkoli řemesle, ti budou ochotně pomáhat s veškerou prací. Hodnostáři i všechen lid čekají na tvé rozkazy.“

Er gab Anweisungen über die Schätze des Gotteshauses und die Schätze aus den Weihegaben, (1Pa 18,11; 1Pa 26,20)13über die Abteilungen der Priester und Leviten, über den Vollzug des gesamten Dienstes am Haus des HERRN und über alle Geräte, die man zum Dienst im Haus des HERRN benötigte.14Dazu übergab er ihm seine Berechnungen über das Gold, mit Angabe des Gewichtes des Goldes für jedes einzelne Dienstgerät, und über alle silbernen Geräte, mit Angabe des Gewichtes eines jeden Dienstgerätes. 9“And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve him with a whole heart and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches all hearts and understands every plan and thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever. 1And David assembled all the princes of Israel, the princes of the tribes, and the captains of the companies that ministered to the king by course, and the captains over the thousands, and captains over the hundreds, and the stewards over all the substance and possession of the king, and of his sons, with the officers, and with the mighty men, and with all the valiant men, unto Jerusalem.2Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: As for me , I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstool of our God, and had made ready for the building:3But God said unto me, Thou shalt not build an house for my name, because thou hast been a man of war, and hast shed blood.4Howbeit the LORD God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father to be king over Israel for ever: for he hath chosen Judah to be the ruler; and of the house of Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he liked me to make me king over all Israel:5And of all my sons, (for the LORD hath given me many sons,) he hath chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of the LORD over Israel.6And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts: for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.7Moreover I will establish his kingdom for ever, if he be constant to do my commandments and my judgments, as at this day.8Now therefore in the sight of all Israel the congregation of the LORD, and in the audience of our God, keep and seek for all the commandments of the LORD your God: that ye may possess this good land, and leave it for an inheritance for your children after you for ever.9And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.10Take heed now; for the LORD hath chosen thee to build an house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it .11Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of the houses thereof, and of the treasuries thereof, and of the upper chambers thereof, and of the inner parlours thereof, and of the place of the mercy seat,12And the pattern of all that he had by the spirit, of the courts of the house of the LORD, and of all the chambers round about, of the treasuries of the house of God, and of the treasuries of the dedicated things:13Also for the courses of the priests and the Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of the LORD, and for all the vessels of service in the house of the LORD.14He gave of gold by weight for things of gold, for all instruments of all manner of service; silver also for all instruments of silver by weight, for all instruments of every kind of service:15Even the weight for the candlesticks of gold, and for their lamps of gold, by weight for every candlestick, and for the lamps thereof: and for the candlesticks of silver by weight, both for the candlestick, and also for the lamps thereof, according to the use of every candlestick.16And by weight he gave gold for the tables of shewbread, for every table; and likewise silver for the tables of silver:17Also pure gold for the fleshhooks, and the bowls, and the cups: and for the golden basons he gave gold by weight for every bason; and likewise silver by weight for every bason of silver:18And for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; and gold for the pattern of the chariot of the cherubims, that spread out their wings , and covered the ark of the covenant of the LORD.19All this, said David , the LORD made me understand in writing by his hand upon me, even all the works of this pattern.20And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it : fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.21And, behold, the courses of the priests and the Levites, even they shall be with thee for all the service of the house of God: and there shall be with thee for all manner of workmanship every willing skilful man, for any manner of service: also the princes and all the people will be wholly at thy commandment.
