1 Алилуя! Хвали ГОСПОДА, душо моя! 2 Ще хваля ГОСПОДА, докато съм жив, ще пея хваления на моя Бог, докато съм! 3 Не се уповавайте на князе, нито на човешки син, в когото няма спасение. 4 Духът му излиза, той се връща в земята си и в същия този ден намеренията му загиват. 5 Блажен онзи, чиято помощ е Богът на Яков, чиято надежда е в ГОСПОДА, неговия Бог, 6 който е направил небето и земята, морето и всичко, което е в тях, който пази вярност до века, 7 който извършва правосъдие за угнетените, който дава храна на гладните. ГОСПОД развързва вързаните. 8 ГОСПОД отваря очите на слепите. ГОСПОД изправя приведените. ГОСПОД обича праведните. 9 ГОСПОД пази чужденците. Той подкрепя сирачето и вдовицата, а изкривява пътя на безбожните. 10 ГОСПОД ще царува до века, Твоят Бог, Сионе – за всички поколения! Алилуя!

1 Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul! (Пс 135:1) 2 I will praise the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. (Пс 63:4; Пс 104:33; Пс 145:2) 3 Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation. (Пс 60:11; Пс 108:12; Пс 118:8; Пс 118:9; Ис 2:22; Ер 17:5) 4 When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish. (Йов 10:9; Йов 34:14; Пс 104:29; Екл 12:7) 5 Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, (Пс 2:12; Пс 119:116; Пс 144:15) 6 who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who keeps faith forever; (Пс 100:5; Пс 115:15; Пс 117:2) 7 who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets the prisoners free; (Пс 68:6; Пс 103:6; Пс 105:20; Пс 107:9; Пс 145:15; Ис 61:1) 8 the Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous. (Пс 11:7; Пс 145:14; Пс 147:6; Мт 9:30; Йн 9:7) 9 The Lord watches over the sojourners; he upholds the widow and the fatherless, but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin. (Изх 22:21; Изх 22:22; Вт 10:18; Пс 10:14; Пс 147:6) 10 The Lord will reign forever, your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the Lord! (Пс 10:16; Пс 146:1)
