По пътищата си седяла за тях като арабин в пустинята и си осквернила земята с блудството си и със злото си.3И дъждовете бяха задържани и нямаше късен дъжд. Но ти имаше чело на блудна жена, отказа да се засрамиш.4Няма ли да викаш отсега към Мен: Отче мой, Ти си другар на младостта ми?5Ще държи ли Той гняв до века? Ще го пази ли вечно? Ето, така си говорила, но си вършила злодеяния и си се наложила.6И в дните на цар Йосия ГОСПОД ми каза: Видя ли какво направи отстъпницата Израил? Отиде на всеки висок хълм и под всяко зелено дърво и блудства там.7И казах: След като извърши всичко това, ще се върне при Мен; но тя не се върна. И сестра ѝ, невярната Юда видя.8И видях, че когато заради всички прелюбодейства на отстъпницата Израил Аз я отпратих и ѝ дадох разводно писмо, сестра ѝ, невярната Юда, не се уплаши, а отиде и блудства и тя.9И с лекомислието на блудството си тя оскверни земята и прелюбодейства с камъните и дърветата.10И пак, при всичко това, невярната ѝ сестра Юда не се върна при Мен с цялото си сърце, а само с лъжа, заявява ГОСПОД.11И ГОСПОД ми каза: Отстъпницата Израил се показа по-праведна от невярната Юда.12Иди и викай тези думи на север, и кажи: Върни се, отстъпнице Израил, заявява ГОСПОД! Няма да изсипя върху вас гнева Си, защото съм милостив, заявява ГОСПОД, няма да пазя гняв до века.13Само признай беззаконието си, че си отстъпила от ГОСПОДА, своя Бог, и си разпръснала пътищата си при чужденците под всяко зелено дърво, а Моя глас не сте послушали, заявява ГОСПОД.14Върнете се, синове отстъпници, заявява ГОСПОД, защото Аз съм ви Господар; и ще ви взема, един от град и двама от род, и ще ви въведа в Сион!15И ще ви дам пастири по сърцето Си и те ще ви пасат със знание и разум.16И когато се умножите и наплодите в земята в онези дни, заявява ГОСПОД, няма вече да казвате: Ковчегът на ГОСПОДНИЯ завет! Where have you not been ravished? By the waysides you have sat awaiting lovers like an Arab in the wilderness. You have polluted the land with your vile whoredom. Faithless Israel Called to Repentance
6The Lord said to me in the days of King Josiah: “Have you seen what she did, that faithless one, Israel, how she went up on every high hill and under every green tree, and there played the whore? (Ер 1:2; Ер 2:20; Ер 3:1)7And I thought, ‘After she has done all this she will return to me,’ but she did not return, and her treacherous sister Judah saw it. (Ез 16:46; Ез 23:4)8She saw that for all the adulteries of that faithless one, Israel, I had sent her away with a decree of divorce. Yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear, but she too went and played the whore.
