1Cette même année, au commencement du règne de Sédécias[1], roi de Juda, la quatrième année, au cinquième mois, Hanania, fils d’Azzour, un prophète originaire de Gabaon, me dit dans le temple de l’Eternel, devant les prêtres et tout le peuple: (Jr 27:1)2Voici ce que déclare le Seigneur des armées célestes, Dieu d’Israël: Je brise le joug du roi de Babylone.3Dans deux ans, jour pour jour, je ferai rapporter dans ce lieu tous les ustensiles du temple de l’Eternel que Nabuchodonosor, roi de Babylone, a enlevés d’ici et qu’il a emportés à Babylone.4Je ferai aussi revenir dans ce lieu Yekonia, fils de Yehoyaqim, roi de Juda, et tous les déportés de Juda qui sont partis à Babylone – l’Eternel le déclare – car je briserai le joug du roi de Babylone.5Alors le prophète Jérémie dit au prophète Hanania devant les prêtres et devant tout le peuple qui se tenaient dans le Temple:6Puisse-t-il en être ainsi! Que l’Eternel agisse de la sorte et accomplisse ce que tu viens de prophétiser, en ramenant de Babylone dans ce lieu les ustensiles du Temple et tous les déportés!7Néanmoins, écoute ce que je vais te dire en même temps qu’à tout le peuple:8Les prophètes qui nous ont précédés, toi et moi, depuis les temps les plus anciens, ont prophétisé au sujet de nombreux pays et de grands royaumes en annonçant la guerre, la famine[2] et la peste.9Alors, maintenant, un prophète annonce la paix; on saura s’il est réellement envoyé par l’Eternel seulement si sa prédiction se réalise.10Alors le prophète Hanania prit le joug[3] des épaules du prophète Jérémie et le brisa. (Jr 27:2)11Et Hanania dit devant tout le peuple: Voici ce que déclare l’Eternel: De cette façon, dans deux ans, jour pour jour, je briserai le joug que Nabuchodonosor, roi de Babylone, fait peser sur tous les peuples. Puis le prophète Jérémie s’en alla de son côté.12Après que le prophète Hanania eut brisé le joug posé sur le cou du prophète Jérémie, l’Eternel adressa la parole à Jérémie en ces termes:13Va dire à Hanania: Voici ce que déclare l’Eternel: Tu as brisé un joug de bois, eh bien! tu le remplaceras par un joug de fer!14Car ainsi parle le Seigneur des armées célestes, Dieu d’Israël: J’impose à tous ces peuples un joug de fer pour qu’ils soient assujettis à Nabuchodonosor, roi de Babylone! Oui, ils lui seront assujettis, et je lui ai même soumis les animaux sauvages.15Puis le prophète Jérémie dit au prophète Hanania: Ecoute bien, Hanania! L’Eternel ne t’a pas mandaté et tu fais croire des mensonges à ce peuple.16C’est pourquoi, voici ce que déclare l’Eternel: Je vais te renvoyer de la surface de la terre. Cette année même tu mourras, car tu as incité à la révolte contre l’Eternel.17Cette année-là, au septième mois[4], le prophète Hanania mourut.
1In that same year, at the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fifth month of the fourth year, Hananiah the son of Azzur, the prophet from Gibeon, spoke to me in the house of the Lord, in the presence of the priests and all the people, saying, (Jos 9:3; Jos 21:17; Jr 27:12; Ez 11:1)2“Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon. (Jr 27:2; Jr 27:11)3Within two years I will bring back to this place all the vessels of the Lord’s house, which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place and carried to Babylon. (Jr 27:16; Jr 28:11)4I will also bring back to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and all the exiles from Judah who went to Babylon, declares the Lord, for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.” (Jr 22:10; Jr 22:12; Jr 22:26; Jr 28:2)5Then the prophet Jeremiah spoke to Hananiah the prophet in the presence of the priests and all the people who were standing in the house of the Lord,6and the prophet Jeremiah said, “Amen! May the Lord do so; may the Lord make the words that you have prophesied come true, and bring back to this place from Babylon the vessels of the house of the Lord, and all the exiles. (1R 1:36)7Yet hear now this word that I speak in your hearing and in the hearing of all the people.8The prophets who preceded you and me from ancient times prophesied war, famine, and pestilence against many countries and great kingdoms. (Jr 26:18)9As for the prophet who prophesies peace, when the word of that prophet comes to pass, then it will be known that the Lord has truly sent the prophet.” (Dt 18:22; Jr 6:14)10Then the prophet Hananiah took the yoke-bars from the neck of Jeremiah the prophet and broke them. (Jr 27:2)11And Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, “Thus says the Lord: Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all the nations within two years.” But Jeremiah the prophet went his way. (1R 22:11; Jr 27:7; Jr 28:2)12Sometime after the prophet Hananiah had broken the yoke-bars from off the neck of Jeremiah the prophet, the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah: (Jr 28:1; Jr 28:10)13“Go, tell Hananiah, ‘Thus says the Lord: You have broken wooden bars, but you have made in their place bars of iron.14For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: I have put upon the neck of all these nations an iron yoke to serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and they shall serve him, for I have given to him even the beasts of the field.’” (Dt 28:48; Jr 25:11; Jr 27:6)15And Jeremiah the prophet said to the prophet Hananiah, “Listen, Hananiah, the Lord has not sent you, and you have made this people trust in a lie. (Dt 18:20; Jr 5:31; Jr 29:31; Ez 13:22)16Therefore thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will remove you from the face of the earth. This year you shall die, because you have uttered rebellion against the Lord.’” (Dt 13:5; Jr 29:32)17In that same year, in the seventh month, the prophet Hananiah died.
1Im selben Jahr, im Anfang der Regierung Zidkijas, des Königs von Juda, im fünften Monat des vierten Jahres, sagte der Prophet Hananja, der Sohn Asurs aus Gibeon, im Haus des HERRN vor den Augen der Priester und dem ganzen Volk zu mir:2So spricht der HERR der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels: Ich zerbreche das Joch des Königs von Babel.3Noch zwei Jahre und ich bringe alle Geräte des Hauses des HERRN, die Nebukadnezzar, der König von Babel, von diesem Ort weggenommen und nach Babel gebracht hat, wieder an diesen Ort zurück.4Auch Jojachin, den Sohn Jojakims, den König von Juda, samt allen Verschleppten aus Juda, die nach Babel kamen, bringe ich an diesen Ort zurück - Spruch des HERRN -; denn ich zerbreche das Joch des Königs von Babel.5Der Prophet Jeremia antwortete dem Propheten Hananja vor den Augen der Priester und vor den Augen des ganzen Volkes, die im Haus des HERRN standen.6Der Prophet Jeremia sagte: Ganz recht! Mag der HERR so tun. Der HERR erfülle deine Worte, die du verkündet hast, und bringe die Geräte des Hauses des HERRN und alle Verschleppten aus Babel zurück an diesen Ort.[1]7Doch höre das Wort, das ich dir und dem ganzen Volk in die Ohren rufe:8Die Propheten, die vor mir und vor dir seit jeher waren, prophezeiten Krieg, Unheil und Pest gegen viele Länder und mächtige Reiche.9Der Prophet aber, der Heil prophezeit - an der Erfüllung des prophetischen Wortes erkennt man den Propheten, den der HERR wirklich gesandt hat. (Dt 18:21)10Da nahm der Prophet Hananja das Jochholz vom Nacken des Propheten Jeremia und brach es entzwei. (Jr 27:2)11Vor den Augen des ganzen Volkes sagte Hananja: So spricht der HERR: Ebenso zerbreche ich binnen zwei Jahren das Joch Nebukadnezzars, des Königs von Babel, vom Nacken aller Völker. Der Prophet Jeremia aber ging seines Weges.12Nachdem nun der Prophet Hananja das Jochholz vom Nacken des Propheten Jeremia zerbrochen hatte, erging das Wort des HERRN an Jeremia:13Geh und sag zu Hananja: So spricht der HERR: Jochstangen aus Holz hast du zerbrochen, dafür aber musst du nun Jochstangen aus Eisen machen.14Denn so spricht der HERR der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels: Ein eisernes Joch habe ich auf den Nacken aller dieser Völker gelegt; sie müssen Nebukadnezzar, dem König von Babel, dienen. Und sie werden ihm dienen und auch die Tiere des Feldes gebe ich ihm.15Der Prophet Jeremia sagte also zum Propheten Hananja: Höre, Hananja! Der HERR hat dich nicht gesandt. Du aber hast dieses Volk dazu verführt, auf Lügen zu vertrauen.16Darum - so spricht der HERR: Siehe, ich schaffe dich vom Erdboden fort. Noch in diesem Jahr bist du tot; denn du hast Auflehnung gegen den HERRN gepredigt.17Im siebten Monat desselben Jahres starb der Prophet Hananja.
