Ac 6:8 Now Stephen, a man full of God’s grace and power, performed great wonders and signs among the people.Ac 6:12 So they stirred up the people and the elders and the teachers of the law. The wrath of God has come upon them at last.Ac 7:52 Was there ever a prophet your ancestors did not persecute? They even killed those who predicted the coming of the Righteous One. And now you have betrayed and murdered him –Ac 19:30 Paul wanted to appear before the crowd, but the disciples would not let him.Ac 2:43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.Ac 25:7 When Paul came in, the Jews who had come down from Jerusalem stood round him. They brought many serious charges against him, but they could not prove them.Ac 26:10 And that is just what I did in Jerusalem. On the authority of the chief priests I put many of the Lord’s people in prison, and when they were put to death, I cast my vote against them.Ac 9:31 Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace and was strengthened. Living in the fear of the Lord and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it increased in numbers.2Pe 2:8 (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard) –Ac 11:20 Some of them, however, men from Cyprus and Cyrene, went to Antioch and began to speak to Greeks also, telling them the good news about the Lord Jesus.Mt 26:56 But this has all taken place that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled.’ Then all the disciples deserted him and fled.
