Lu 8:10he said, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables, so that ‘seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’Mt 13:43Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.Mt 13:13This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.Mr 4:11And he said to them, “To you has been given the secret of the kingdom of God, but for those outside everything is in parables,Mt 13:11And he answered them, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.Mt 13:19When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path.Mt 13:16But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear.Mr 4:12so that “‘they may indeed see but not perceive, and may indeed hear but not understand, lest they should turn and be forgiven.’”Lu 8:8And some fell into good soil and grew and yielded a hundredfold.” As he said these things, he called out, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”Ac 28:26“‘Go to this people, and say, “You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive.”Mt 11:15He who has ears to hear, let him hear.Mt 13:14Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says: “‘“You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive.”Mt 13:17For truly, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.Mt 13:35This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet: “I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.”Mt 13:9He who has ears, let him hear.”Mt 13:44“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.Mt 13:34All these things Jesus said to the crowds in parables; indeed, he said nothing to them without a parable.Mr 4:34He did not speak to them without a parable, but privately to his own disciples he explained everything.Mt 13:23As for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty.”Mr 4:22For nothing is hidden except to be made manifest; nor is anything secret except to come to light.Mt 5:8“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.Ac 28:27For this people’s heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed; lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.’Lu 10:23Then turning to the disciples he said privately, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see!Lu 10:24For I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.”Mr 4:13And he said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? The weeds are the sons of the evil one,Mr 4:33With many such parables he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear it.Mt 19:11But he said to them, “Not everyone can receive this saying, but only those to whom it is given.Mt 13:3And he told them many things in parables, saying: “A sower went out to sow.2Co 4:3And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.Mr 4:9And he said, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”Da 12:10Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined, but the wicked shall act wickedly.
