Ruth 2:2

2 And Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi, “Let me go to the field and glean among the ears of grain after him in whose sight I shall find favor.” And she said to her, “Go, my daughter.” (De 24:19; Ru 2:10; Ru 2:13) 

New International Version

2 And Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi, ‘Let me go to the fields and pick up the leftover grain behind anyone in whose eyes I find favour.’ Naomi said to her, ‘Go ahead, my daughter.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

2 Ruth, who was from Moab, spoke to Naomi. Ruth said, ‘Let me go out to the fields. I’ll pick up the corn that has been left. I’ll do it behind anyone who is pleased with me.’ Naomi said to her, ‘My daughter, go ahead.’ 

King James Version

2 And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.
